Rockstar’s GTA 6 Launch Gallery adds nearly 40 new screenshots of Jason, Lucia, Vice City and Leonida. Here’s what they show and what’s still missing.

Rockstar Games released a new batch of GTA 6 screenshots on November 5, two weeks before Grand Theft Auto VI launches on November 19 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The images sit on a new Launch Gallery page on the official GTA VI site, which invites players to “explore Vice City and beyond through new screenshots”. Rockstar announced it on Newswire as “Explore the Grand Theft Auto VI Launch Gallery”.

Rockstar hasn’t given a number. IGN counts 39 new screenshots and Eurogamer counts 38. The gallery page itself carries no text beyond that one line and a “See you in Leonida on November 19” sign-off.

How many new GTA 6 screenshots are there?

Rockstar’s screenshot download page now lists 138 GTA VI screenshots. The newest numbered images sit at the top of that page, and they add up to 39, the same as IGN’s count. Rockstar labels them only by character or place:

Rockstar’s label New images What they show
Vice City 13-27 15 Skylines, marinas, clubs, a police raid, street crews
Jason Duval 11-19 9 Shootouts, a biker standoff, a gym, a gas station at night
Jason and Lucia 14-20 7 A robbery, a car chase, a nightclub, a sunset hillside
Lucia Caminos 11-14 4 Close-ups of Lucia with a pistol, day and night
Leonida Keys 07, Port Gellhorn 07, Grassrivers 07-08 4 A reef dive, a cabaret stage, a swamp camp, an alligator

What the new GTA 6 screenshots show

Jason and Lucia on the job. The set with both leads is mostly crime. In one, Jason and Lucia rob a counter in bandana masks while customers raise their hands. In another, Lucia fires a rifle from a convertible while Jason drives, with police cruisers, an armored truck and a motorcyclist behind them. Quieter shots show the pair dancing in a club and sitting by a car on a hill at sunset, with deer in the grass.

Jason gets the most new action. His nine solo images include a sport bike with “Principe” and “Alvino VI” printed on it, a police SUV right behind him, an assault rifle fired from behind a car with two helicopters overhead, and a pistol standoff with men in biker vests. A dog in a vest stands beside him in one firefight. One night scene puts him at a gas pump in a “Leonida” tank top while officers walk up behind him and a helicopter sweeps a searchlight.

Lucia’s four images are close-ups. Each one shows her holding a pistol: behind a rain-streaked window, aiming from a car, against a hazy skyline and with a police officer behind her at night.

Vice City and beyond. The 15 Vice City images show a marina in front of downtown towers, a night skyline over a river with raised drawbridges, a police raid on a waterfront mansion and yacht, and an overhead view of a resort pool. Others focus on its people: a club crowd under hanging plants and disco balls, a man with a spiked-collar dog, a tattooed crew, and dressing rooms and VIP booths. Outside the city, the Leonida Keys get an underwater dive past a lionfish, and Grassrivers gets a swamp campfire and an airboat crew lit up over an alligator.

What Rockstar still hasn’t shown

  • No gameplay screens. None of the new images shows a HUD, minimap, phone screen or menu. They are composed, cinematic stills.
  • No map. Rockstar still hasn’t posted an in-game map of Leonida online. Our GTA 6 map guide covers the six regions it has named.
  • Two regions left out. No new image is labeled Ambrosia or Mount Kalaga National Park.
  • No new names. Rockstar names only Jason and Lucia in the new batch. The named supporting cast (Cal Hampton, Boobie Ike, Dre’Quan Priest, Real Dimez, Raul Bautista and Brian Heder) gets no newly labeled shots, and the many new faces in the “Vice City” set have no names. See our GTA 6 characters list for everyone Rockstar has named.
  • No GTA Online and no PC. The GTA VI site doesn’t mention GTA Online, and it lists only PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Our GTA 6 platforms guide explains what that means for PC and older consoles.
