GTA 6 has two lead characters, Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, and Rockstar has officially profiled seven more people around them: Cal Hampton, Boobie Ike, Dre’Quan Priest, the rap duo Real Dimez (Bae-Luxe and Roxy), Raul Bautista and Brian Heder. That’s the full GTA 6 characters list on Rockstar’s GTA VI site as of October 28, 2026, three weeks before the game launches on November 19 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
This guide sticks to what Rockstar has published: the character profiles, the edition descriptions and the store text. Fan theories and leaked names are left out or clearly labelled.
Quick answer (Rockstar’s GTA VI site checked October 28, 2026, 04:40 UTC):
- Main characters: Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. Rockstar’s store description calls it their story: an “easy score goes wrong” and they’re pulled into “a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida”.
- Supporting cast Rockstar has profiled (7 profiles, 8 people): Cal Hampton, Boobie Ike, Dre’Quan Priest, Real Dimez (Bae-Luxe and Roxy), Raul Bautista, Brian Heder.
- Also named in official text: Lori (Brian’s wife), Wyman (a car collector and fixer), the rapper DWNPLY and the TV mascot Macca the Gator.
- Voice actors: not announced by Rockstar. Any names you’ve seen come from fan research, not Rockstar.
- When they were revealed: Rockstar published the character profiles with Trailer 2 on May 6, 2025, Gematsu reported at the time.

Jason Duval
Jason is the male lead. Rockstar says he “grew up around grifters and crooks” and joined the Army to get away from a troubled adolescence. It didn’t take. He ended up in the Leonida Keys “doing what he knows best”, working for local drug runners, and his profile ends with “it might be time to try something new.”
That something new is Lucia. Rockstar writes that meeting her “could be the best or worst thing to ever happen to him.” For now Jason lives rent-free at one of Brian Heder’s properties in exchange for help with local shakedowns. His safehouse comes with a Vapid Ganado pickup, a Dinka Enduro motorcycle and a Crest Kayak, according to the Ultimate Edition list, and his personal sidearm is a Girardi ES9 pistol. The GTA 6 launch trailer adds a line from Jason himself about getting “in trouble in the army”.

Lucia Caminos
Lucia is the female lead, and the first face Rockstar showed: Trailer 1 in December 2023 opened on her in prison. Her profile says her father taught her to fight “as soon as she could walk”, and that fighting for her family landed her in the Leonida Penitentiary. “Sheer luck” got her out, and she’s decided on “only smart moves from here.”
Rockstar gives her a clear goal. She wants the good life her mother has dreamed of “since their days in Liberty City”, and instead of waiting for it, “Lucia is prepared to take matters into her own hands.” The profile adds that “a life with Jason could be her way out.” Her sidearm in the Ultimate Edition is a Klose K17 pistol.
The Liberty City line is the only official hint at her past outside Leonida. Rockstar hasn’t said whether Liberty City appears in the game, so we haven’t added it to our GTA 6 map and regions guide.
Jason and Lucia: are both playable?
Rockstar’s text treats them as joint leads. The store description says they are “forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive”, and the Ultimate Edition content is “threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia’s story”. The pre-order bonus gives outfits and hairstyles “for both Jason and Lucia”, and the salon and tattoo shops style both of them. That points to two player characters. Rockstar hasn’t explained how you switch between them or whether you choose who to play in each mission, so treat any switching details you read before November 19 as speculation.
Cal Hampton
Cal is Jason’s friend and, like Jason, “a fellow associate of Brian’s.” Rockstar describes him as someone who feels safest at home, “snooping on Coast Guard comms with a few beers and some private browser tabs open.” His profile leans into conspiracy humour: “There are way too many birds flying around in perfect formation.” Rockstar sums him up as “at the low tide of America and happy there”, while Jason “has bigger plans.” Official screenshots show the two on a fishing boat, at a bar and carrying duffel bags together.
Brian Heder
Brian is “a classic drug runner from the golden age of smuggling in the Keys.” He still moves product through his boat yard with his third wife, Lori, and has been around long enough “to let others do his dirty work.” That’s where Jason comes in. One of Brian’s lines on the site is pure Keys bravado: “I hauled so much grass in that plane, I could make the state of Leonida levitate.”
Rockstar’s other description gives his look away: “Looks like a Leonida beach bum — moves like a great white shark.” Lori appears only by name, in Brian’s profile and in the note that Jason should drop by “for Lori’s sangria once in a while.”

Boobie Ike
Boobie is “a local Vice City legend — and acts like it.” Rockstar says he’s one of the few who turned their time in the streets into a legitimate empire: real estate, a strip club and a recording studio. His line on the site explains the business model: “The club money pay for the studio, and the drug money pay for it all.” What he cares about most, according to Rockstar, is his partnership with Dre’Quan in Only Raw Records. “Now they just need a hit.”
Dre’Quan Priest
Dre’Quan “was always more of a hustler than a gangster.” Even while dealing to make ends meet, music was the goal. He books acts into Boobie’s strip club, and his A&R philosophy is on the site: “Dancers are like my A&Rs. If the record’s a hit, DJs gonna be spinnin’ it.” Now that he’s signed Real Dimez, Rockstar says his days of booking the club “might be numbered as he sets his sights on the Vice City scene.”
Real Dimez (Bae-Luxe and Roxy)
Real Dimez are two people with one profile: Bae-Luxe and Roxy, friends since high school. Rockstar says they turned “shaking down local dealers” into cash through “spicy rap tracks and a relentless social media presence.” An early hit single with local rapper DWNPLY took them “to new heights”. Five years and “a whole lot of trouble” later, they’ve signed to Only Raw Records, “hoping lightning can strike twice.” That makes Boobie, Dre’Quan and Real Dimez the clearest group in the cast so far: one label, one club, one hit they all need.

Raul Bautista
Raul is “a seasoned bank robber always on the hunt for talent ready to take the risks that bring the biggest rewards.” Rockstar sells him on “confidence, charm, and cunning”, and his profile carries the line “Life is full of surprises, my friend.” The warning is in the second paragraph: “Raul’s recklessness raises the stakes with every score,” and sooner or later his crew will have to “double down or pull their chips from the table.” His profile doesn’t name Jason or Lucia, but Rockstar’s own setup has an “easy score” going wrong, so a heist recruiter is an obvious fit. That connection is our reading, not Rockstar’s.

There’s also a nod to the past: the Hawk & Little Morgan revolvers are styled after pieces “sourced from the Vercetti Estate”. Rockstar doesn’t say whether Tommy Vercetti, the lead of 2002’s GTA Vice City, appears in any form. Who voices Jason and Lucia in GTA 6?
Rockstar hasn’t said. It hasn’t announced a voice or motion-capture cast for any GTA 6 character, and the in-game credits will be the first official list. Fan sites have matched actors to Jason and Lucia using résumés and social posts, but those are unconfirmed guesses, so we don’t repeat them here. Do characters from GTA 5 appear in GTA 6?
Rockstar hasn’t announced any returning characters. The only links to earlier games in its official text are Lucia’s family past in Liberty City and the Vercetti Estate revolvers.
