The Fortnite One Piece season is official. Epic Games calls it Treasure Hunters, and its trailer says “The journey begins November 1!” Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp and Buggy all appear in Epic’s own trailer and key art. Epic hasn’t announced a start time, prices or a Battle Pass list yet, so this guide sticks to what’s confirmed and labels everything else.
- Name: Fortnite Treasure Hunters (“The Greatest Adventure of All Time”)
- Start date: November 1, 2026, per Epic’s trailer. No start time yet (checked October 27, 20:30 UTC)
- Collab: One Piece. Epic’s October 24 teaser ends on a “Fortnite | One Piece” logo with an Eiichiro Oda/Shueisha, Toei Animation credit

Is the Fortnite One Piece collab confirmed?
Yes. Our October 16 One Piece rumor report covered the leaks. Since then, Epic has confirmed the collab itself, in four posts:
| Date (UTC) | Where | What it showed |
|---|---|---|
| Oct 24, 13:00 | @Fortnite on X | “The greatest adventure of all! 11.1”: the Treasure Hunters logo in English and Japanese over a treasure map |
| Oct 24, 18:02 | @Fortnite on X | Three straw hat emojis and a 7-second clip of the Going Merry sailing through clouds, ending on the Fortnite and One Piece logos |
| Oct 27, 13:00 | Fortnite on YouTube and X | “Fortnite Treasure Hunters | Live Action Trailer”: “Tempting, isn’t it? The journey begins November 1!” |
| Oct 27, 15:01 | @Fortnite on X | “Adventure awaits.”: the season key art with Luffy, Buggy, Jonesy and new anime-style outfits |
The trailer’s legal text credits Eiichiro Oda/Shueisha and Toei Animation. That’s as official as it gets without a blog post. It also credits Crypton Future Media (the company behind Hatsune Miku) and Mercedes-Benz, whose AMG badge and G-Class-style off-roader both show up in the trailer. Epic hasn’t explained those two yet.
Fortnite One Piece season release date and time
Release date: November 1, 2026. Epic says so twice: “11.1” in the October 24 teaser and “The journey begins November 1!” under the trailer. The trailer’s end card says “New Season, Coming Soon”. Most outlets call Treasure Hunters a mini-season, because it fills the gap before Chapter 8.
Release time: not announced. Epic usually posts the downtime time on @FortniteStatus the day before. Here’s what’s known about how the switch usually works:
- The pattern (not an announcement): recent Fortnite updates went down at 4 AM ET, with matchmaking switched off shortly before. The v42.40 downtime notice on October 14 is an example.
- Clock change: US clocks go back an hour at 2 AM ET on Sunday, November 1. So 4 AM ET that morning would be 09:00 UTC, not the usual 08:00 UTC. That’s simple time-zone math, not an Epic time.
- Downtime length: new seasons usually mean a few hours offline. Plan for servers to be down for part of the morning in the US and Europe.
When does the current season end?
Outlets don’t agree: some say October 31, some November 1, and a few November 4. Epic’s own Battle Pass page says the Override pass “Ends November 1, 2026 Eastern Time”, without a time. Our Fortnite season end date guide tracks the Override end and the Chapter 8 leaks. We’ll add the exact time once Epic posts it.

What the Treasure Hunters trailer shows
The trailer runs 28 seconds. A masked narrator in a glowing jacket asks “Seen the treasure, have we? Tempting, isn’t it?” over shots of the chest. Then it shows:
- A brand-new island. An overhead shot shows a green map shaped like a skull and crossbones, with a swirling purple area in the middle.
- The treasure chest. A huge purple and gold chest wrapped in chains, with a skull lock. It sits on a beach, and Usopp, Zoro and Nami wade through the water toward it.
- Straw Hats in action. Zoro fights with three swords under pink trees, Luffy stretches across the water toward the chest, and Buggy strolls along with knives in hand while a blond fighter leaps overhead.
- Familiar faces. Jonesy appears in an anime style, with a long coat, round sunglasses and a gold blunderbuss-style gun. Beebom also spots Hope with a cannon.
- Vehicles and weapons. A gold off-roader flies off a cliff, and there are pirate-style guns and a cannon.
The end card warns “Non-gameplay footage included. Some optional items require purchase.” That means you can’t take every shot as gameplay, and some items will cost V-Bucks. It doesn’t say which.
Fortnite One Piece skins: confirmed characters
Only characters clearly visible in Epic’s own trailer and key art count as confirmed here. Epic doesn’t name any of them on screen, and it hasn’t said which ones are Battle Pass skins and which go to the Item Shop.
| Character | Where Epic shows them | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Monkey D. Luffy | Trailer and key art | Confirmed. How you get him isn’t announced |
| Roronoa Zoro | Trailer | Confirmed. How you get him isn’t announced |
| Nami | Trailer | Confirmed. How you get her isn’t announced |
| Buggy | Trailer and key art | Confirmed. How you get him isn’t announced |
| Usopp | Trailer (running to the chest) | Confirmed. How you get him isn’t announced |
| Sanji | A brief trailer shot | VICE and Beebom identify him. He’s hard to make out, so treat it as likely |
| Portgas D. Ace | A poster in the trailer, per outlets | Not confirmed as a skin |
Nico Robin and Tony Tony Chopper don’t appear, VICE notes. That doesn’t rule them out.

Fortnite Treasure Hunters Battle Pass: what we know
Epic hasn’t shown the Battle Pass yet. Here’s where things stand:
- Official: the key art shows new original outfits (a pink bear-hooded fighter with katanas, a blue-haired cat-eared fighter with a rifle) alongside Jonesy. Season key art usually features Battle Pass skins, but Epic hasn’t said these are in it.
- Outlet reading: Beebom says the trailer shows Battle Pass characters and collab skins, and names A$AP Rocky, Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto among them. Epic hasn’t named any of them.
- Leak: data miner ShiinaBR lists collab skins for next month: Hatsune Miku, Kasane Teto, A$AP Rocky, Luffy, Zoro, Buggy, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Ace, Lil Uzi Vert and “more unknown collabs”. Treat that as unconfirmed until it shows up in the Battle Pass tab or the Shop.
Until then, the practical move is to finish the current pass. Our Fortnite Sprites checklist and Fortnitemares 2026 quest guide cover the rewards you can still earn before the switch.
New map, POIs and Luffy’s abilities (leaks)
Everything in this section comes from leakers and from players freeze-framing the trailer, not from Epic:
- Arlong Park: ShiinaBR reports that the One Piece location Arlong Park is on the new map, spotted by @PokeasyFN. Beebom also lists Foosha Village and a landmark it calls Marigold.
- Gum-Gum powers: ShiinaBR posted a “first look” at a Gum Gum Pistol ability, and Beebom expects Gum-Gum moves to be part of a Luffy Mythic.
- Going Merry as the Battle Bus: Beebom’s prediction, not an Epic announcement. So far Epic has only shown the ship in the October 24 teaser.
- Sprites: Beebom says it spotted no Sprites in the trailer.
- A finale live event: ShiinaBR says internal servers were updated to an unannounced v43.11 build with live event files. He expects an end-of-season event leading into Chapter 8.
What to do before Treasure Hunters starts
- Finish the Override pass. Epic’s Battle Pass page says it ends November 1, Eastern Time, so grab any rewards you’re close to.
- Watch @FortniteStatus on October 31. That’s where the downtime time should appear.
- Save some V-Bucks. Epic says some items will cost money, and the One Piece characters may end up in the Shop.
- Update early. On console and PC, let the patch download as soon as it’s live, so you’re not stuck downloading when servers open.
