The Fortnite Item Shop resets once a day at 00:00 UTC. Right now that’s 8 PM Eastern / 5 PM Pacific in the US and midnight in the UK. Today’s big new arrival is A Nightmare on Elm Street: the Freddy Krueger bundle costs 2,300 V-Bucks, down from 4,700. The Slender Man, Five Nights at Freddy’s and Beetlejuice sets are still in the shop for Fortnitemares.

What time does the Fortnite Item Shop reset?
The Fortnite Item Shop resets at 00:00 UTC (midnight GMT) every day. Epic’s support article “When does Fortnite’s Item Shop refresh?” puts it at around midnight GMT. Epic’s shop data says the same thing. In its public game-content feed, each day’s shop sections start at T00:00:00Z, and the official shop page lists offers as ending at 23:59:59.999 UTC.
The official fortnite.com Item Shop shows the time in your own time zone rather than UTC. Its “About Shop” note says: “The Shop refreshes daily, usually at [time] your time… At that time, currently available items may rotate or leave, and new items may be added.” Epic dropped the old global countdown in April 2024, when it said it would “show the Shop rotation time in every player’s unique time zone” (Epic, April 9, 2024).
Item Shop reset time in US and UK time (and the November 1 clock change)
The reset stays at 00:00 UTC. Your local reset time changes only when your own clocks change. UK clocks went back on October 25, so the UK reset is midnight again. US clocks go back at 2 AM local time on Sunday, November 1, so US resets come an hour earlier from that evening.

The reset that opens November 1 (00:00 UTC) still lands at 8 PM ET on Saturday, October 31. The first US reset on winter time is 7 PM ET on Sunday, November 1, which is the November 2 shop.

If you already own some items in a bundle, it usually costs less. Epic’s shop note says that when you own bonus items included in an offer, “the offer price may be reduced to reflect that.” Check the price on your own account before you buy.
Leaving the Item Shop tonight
The Boundless section (the superhero outfits) has a slot in today’s layout but none in Epic’s layout for October 29. It will most likely leave at tonight’s reset: 00:00 UTC, which is 8 PM ET. In the shop itself, look for the “Leaving today” or “Leaving Soon!” labels on item tiles.
How to see tomorrow’s Fortnite Item Shop
Epic doesn’t publish tomorrow’s full shop. These are the only official ways to plan ahead:
- Leaving dates on item pages. Since May 2024, Epic shows the date each item is planned to rotate out on the item’s page (Epic’s announcement). If an item’s date is after tomorrow, it should still be there.
- Epic’s collab announcements. Big collabs are usually announced on Fortnite’s news page and @Fortnite on X with a shop date.
- Check right after the reset. At 00:00 UTC, the in-game shop and fortnite.com/item-shop update together. We update this page after the reset each day.
Unofficial: leaks. Dataminers post “tomorrow’s shop” predictions on X every evening. Epic’s public game-content feed, which the game downloads, already lists some of the section names planned for October 29, including a Predator section (a 4-item bundle) and “Mexify’s Locker”. None of that is an announcement. Epic can still move or cancel a section, and the feed doesn’t show prices. Treat it as a hint, not a schedule.

Item Shop and Treasure Hunters: what changes on November 1
Fortnite’s One Piece season, Treasure Hunters, starts on November 1, 2026. Epic’s trailer says “The journey begins November 1!” Our Fortnite One Piece season guide has everything confirmed so far. For the shop, that means:
- The daily reset still happens at 00:00 UTC, which is 8 PM ET on October 31. The season update is separate. Epic usually posts the downtime time on @FortniteStatus the day before, and no time had been posted by our check (October 28, 18:45 UTC).
- One Piece items: Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp and Buggy appear in Epic’s trailer and key art. Epic hasn’t said which will be in the Battle Pass and which in the Item Shop. The trailer’s end card only says “Some optional items require purchase.”

What time does the Fortnite Item Shop reset today?
At 00:00 UTC. Today (October 28) that’s 8 PM ET, 5 PM PT and midnight in the UK. After the US clock change on November 1, it moves to 7 PM ET and 4 PM PT.
Does the Item Shop reset time change with daylight saving time?
No, the reset stays at 00:00 UTC all year. Your local time for it moves by an hour when your clocks change. For the UK that happened on October 25, and for the US it happens on November 1.
Can you see tomorrow’s Fortnite Item Shop?
Not officially. Epic shows each item’s leaving date on its shop page and announces big collabs ahead of time, but it doesn’t publish the next day’s full shop. “Tomorrow’s shop” posts come from datamined leaks and can be wrong.
Can I return something I bought in the Item Shop?
Yes, with a Return Ticket. Epic’s shop says an account holds up to 3 Return Tickets, and after you use one, a new ticket comes 365 days after the most recent one you received. The returned item’s V-Bucks go back to your account.
Do Item Shop skins give an advantage?
No. Epic’s shop note says items “don’t give you an advantage or boost performance”. Not every item works in every experience, so check the item’s page to see where it works.
