The next Nintendo Indie World showcase airs Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at 7:00 a.m. PT / 10:00 a.m. ET (14:00 UTC). It runs for roughly 15 minutes and covers “new announcements and updates on indie games coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch,” according to Nintendo’s official Indie World page and a Nintendo of America post on X from October 27.

Nintendo hasn’t named a single game for the show, so below you’ll find the exact start time where you live, where to watch, and what past Indie Worlds have included, clearly marked as history rather than predictions.

  • Date: Wednesday, October 28, 2026
  • Start: 7:00 a.m. PT / 10:00 a.m. ET / 2:00 p.m. UK (14:00 UTC)
  • Length: about 15 minutes
  • Platforms covered: Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch
  • Where: Nintendo’s YouTube channel and nintendo.com

One thing to watch for: the US is still on daylight saving time until November 1, but the UK and most of Europe switched back on October 25. That means the gap between US and European times is one hour shorter than usual this week. Times below are all for the same 14:00 UTC start.

Nintendo’s UK announcement, quoted by Nintendo Life, gives the same slot as 14:00 UK time, so the UK and US broadcasts start together.

How to watch the Indie World showcase

Nintendo of America’s post links straight to the livestream on Nintendo’s YouTube channel, and the same video is embedded on the Indie World showcase page on nintendo.com. The stream page is already up, so you can open it now and set a reminder:

Nintendo Life reports the show was first revealed in Nintendo’s Nintendo Today! app, which is worth having on your phone if you want an alert when the next showcase is dated. If you can’t watch live, the full video stays on YouTube afterwards.

What to expect from Indie World (based on past shows)

Nintendo’s only official tease is “new announcements and updates” for indie games on Switch 2 and Switch. Everything below is what the previous showcase, on March 3, 2026, contained, so you know the kind of news these shows usually bring. It is not a list of games confirmed for Wednesday.

  • Shadow drops. In March, Blue Prince and Klei’s Rotwood launched on Switch 2 the same day, and Minishoot’ Adventures arrived on Switch 2 and Switch, according to Game Informer’s March rundown. Nintendo’s own eShop listings still show all three dated March 3, 2026. If you plan to buy something right after the show, have some eShop funds ready.
  • Same-day demos. Denshattack, Unrailed 2: Back on Track and Outbound all had demos go live during the March show.
  • Release dates and new reveals. Mixtape got its May 7 date, while Heave Ho 2, Woodo and My Little Puppy were revealed for Switch platforms.
  • Size. Game Informer counted 12 featured games plus 6 more in a closing montage.

Some March games are still on the way. Game Informer notes that Drinkbox Studios’ Blighted and the farming mystery Grave Seasons have both slipped to 2027, but Nintendo hasn’t said whether either will appear on Wednesday. Treat anything you see named online before the stream as speculation until Nintendo shows it.
