No public Fortnite redeem code is giving away free skins or V-Bucks right now (checked October 30, 2026, 14:15 UTC). The codes that do work are single-use codes from things you buy, like Fortnite gift cards and V-Bucks cards. You redeem those at epicgames.com/redeem or fortnite.com/vbuckscard. Two free rewards end tomorrow, October 31: the Gold Punk gift card outfit and the Carbonite Fishstick Back Bling for linking your MyDisney account.
Quick answer (checked Oct 30, 2026):
- Free public codes: none active. Epic hasn’t posted a free Fortnite redeem code this month, and Pocket Tactics’ code tracker (updated October 27) lists none either.
- Ends October 31: Gold Punk (redeem a new Fortnite gift card) and Carbonite Fishstick (link MyDisney and Epic).
- Ends November 1, with the Override season: Jack-A-Nape (Fortnitemares quests), Pixel Polli (Sprite mastery) and every Lobby Hack code.
- No end date: Explorer Emilie and Mr. Dappermint, free when you link a LEGO account.
- Until December 31: GHOST Monks, the first time you redeem a new Fortnite gift card.
- Scams: V-Bucks generators, “free skin code” giveaways and any site that asks for your Epic password.

Are there any Fortnite redeem codes right now?
No. Epic rarely puts out public redeem codes for Fortnite. When a code does unlock an outfit, it’s a one-time code that comes with a purchase: a gift card, a V-Bucks card, a retail bundle or a partner offer. FRVR’s free-skins guide says the same thing. Epic hasn’t issued a reusable public skin code this year.
That’s why most “Fortnite redeem codes 2026” pages show old, expired codes. Some show fakes. This page lists only rewards Epic or its partners have announced, each with its end date. We’ll update it when that changes.

How to redeem a Fortnite code
Where you redeem depends on what’s printed on the card. Epic now sells two kinds of card.
Fortnite gift card (the new cards)
- Scan the QR code on the card and open the link, or go to epicgames.com/redeem.
- Sign in to the Epic account you play Fortnite on.
- Enter the code. The money goes into your Epic account balance, not straight into V-Bucks.
- Spend the balance on V-Bucks, Fortnite Crew, packs, or Epic Games Store games.
Epic’s gift card announcement says the cards cost $15, $30, $50 or $100, or a custom amount from $15 to $150. They’re replacing V-Bucks cards region by region. One catch: Nintendo devices don’t support the Fortnite Shared Wallet. V-Bucks bought with your Epic balance won’t show up on a Switch. Items you buy in the web Item Shop still go to your Locker on every platform.
V-Bucks card (the older cards)
- Go to fortnite.com/vbuckscard and choose Get Started.
- Enter the PIN from under the scratch-off panel, without the dashes.
- Choose your platform. On PC, Switch and mobile, the V-Bucks are added right away. On PlayStation and Xbox, Epic’s help article says the site gives you a second code to enter in Sony’s or Microsoft’s store. Use the console account that’s linked to your Epic account.
Boxed retail bundles can come with a code for one console’s store (PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo) instead of Epic’s site. Follow the instructions printed on the box.
How to get the Gold Punk outfit before October 31
From October 2 to October 31, 2026, Epic’s help page says that redeeming a Fortnite gift card adds the Gold Punk outfit to your Locker. The rules:
- Only the new Fortnite gift card counts. A V-Bucks card doesn’t.
- One Gold Punk per Epic account.
- Your account has to be in a country where Fortnite gift cards are sold. The first countries were the US, the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Italy, Portugal, Spain and the Netherlands.
- The outfit is added automatically. If it’s not in your Locker, restart Fortnite.
Epic gives the end date, but we couldn’t find an end time. If you’re buying a gift card anyway, redeem it today or early tomorrow. A first-time redemption should also qualify for GHOST Monks, but Epic hasn’t said whether one card gives you both outfits.

Free Fortnite skins for linking your accounts
Carbonite Fishstick (MyDisney): ends October 31
Epic’s Fortnite x Disney page says: “From now until October 31, 2026, you can unlock the Carbonite Fishstick Backbling in Fortnite if you connect your accounts.” To link, sign in to your Epic account in a browser, open Linked Accounts, and choose Link under MyDisney. The Back Bling then shows up in your Locker. Epic’s help pages tell you to use your own MyDisney account, not a family member’s. If it doesn’t appear, Epic’s help center has a page called “Why haven’t I received the Carbonite Fishstick Back Bling?” that covers accounts that were linked before and then unlinked. It’s a Back Bling, not an outfit, but it’s free and takes about two minutes.
Explorer Emilie and Mr. Dappermint (LEGO): no end date
Epic’s LEGO offer gives you both outfits, each with a Fortnite style and a LEGO style, when you connect a free LEGO account. Start the link from epicgames.com, under Apps and Accounts or Linked Accounts. Epic says players in Bahrain, Brazil, the UAE, Kuwait and Qatar must start from epicgames.com, or the outfits won’t unlock. The offer isn’t available in Belarus, China, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia or Syria. Children’s accounts need a parent’s permission to link.
Free Fortnite skins that end with the season on November 1
Override (Chapter 7 Season 4) ends on November 1, and Treasure Hunters starts the same day. As of 14:15 UTC on October 30, Epic hadn’t posted the v43.00 downtime notice on its status page. Check our Fortnite server status page on Sunday morning. What you lose when the season ends:
- Jack-A-Nape: the outfit for completing all 26 Nitemare quests. Our Fortnitemares 2026 quest guide lists every quest and reward.
- Pixel Polli: the top reward on the Sprite mastery track, for mastering 28 Sprites, according to FRVR.
- Lobby Hack codes: real, free codes you type into the Admin Panel in the lobby. They don’t work on epicgames.com/redeem. They give XP, Sprite Dust and Sprites, not outfits. All of them are in our Fortnite Admin Panel codes list. If you’re saving Sprite Dust, our Sprite Dust guide explains why to spend it before Sunday.

Skins that come with something you already pay for
- Fortnite Crew: each month’s Crew Pack is part of the subscription. The October pack (Osric the Uninvited) leaves when November’s arrives. Our Fortnite Crew November 2026 guide covers the drop time.
- PlayStation Plus: FRVR lists the Pond Protector Pack, with the Pond Guardian Froggory outfit, as a free claim for PS Plus members on the PlayStation Store.
- Epic Games Store gift with purchase: buying some games on the Epic Games Store gives you a matching Fortnite skin. Epic’s gift-with-purchase page lists the current games. FRVR says buying the same game on Steam or a console store doesn’t count.
- Battle Pass gift: according to FRVR, gifting the Override Battle Pass to a friend unlocks Peril Peak Mali for both of you, until November 1.
Why isn’t my Fortnite code working?
- Wrong site: gift cards go to epicgames.com/redeem and V-Bucks cards go to fortnite.com/vbuckscard. Lobby Hack codes only work in the game’s Admin Panel.
- Card not activated: Epic’s help article says that if a correctly typed V-Bucks card code shows as invalid, contact the shop that sold it so they can activate it.
- Wrong account: if a card went to the wrong Epic account, Epic support asks for a photo of the card and a screenshot of your in-game account ID.
- Region: gift card promotions like Gold Punk and GHOST Monks only work where the new cards are sold.
- Expired: most codes you’ll find on older lists stopped working long ago.
Fake Fortnite codes to avoid
Every real free reward comes through Fortnite itself, Epic, a platform store or an official partner like LEGO or Disney. V-Bucks generators, “unlimited skin” codes, survey walls, browser extensions and sites that ask for your Epic login are scams. They can get your account stolen. Creator codes (Support-A-Creator) and island codes are real, but they don’t put anything in your Locker. A creator code sends part of your purchase to a creator, and an island code opens a map.
FAQ
What is the Fortnite redeem code website?
For Fortnite gift cards and most Epic codes, it’s epicgames.com/redeem. For older V-Bucks cards, it’s fortnite.com/vbuckscard. Don’t enter codes on any other site.
Can you get free V-Bucks with a redeem code?
Not with a public code. Codes only give you V-Bucks from a card or bundle you bought. Free V-Bucks come from the Battle Pass and some quest rewards, not from codes.
Can you redeem Fortnite codes in the game?
Only Lobby Hack codes, through the Admin Panel. Gift card and V-Bucks card codes are redeemed on Epic’s websites, and some PlayStation and Xbox codes in those consoles’ own stores.
Will there be new Fortnite codes with Treasure Hunters?
Epic hasn’t announced any. The Lobby Hack codes belong to the Override season. Whether Treasure Hunters brings its own code system is unknown until Epic posts the patch notes. We’ll update this page if it does. Our Treasure Hunters season guide has what Epic has confirmed so far.
