Pokémon GO Into the Wild 2026 runs from Monday, November 9 at 10:00 a.m. to Friday, November 13 at 8:00 p.m. local time. Dynamax Regidrago makes its debut in five-star Max Battles, Dynamax Meltan debuts in GO Pass: Into the Wild, and Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Shield Zamazenta take over five-star raids. The Remote Raid limit rises to 30 for the week, and there’s no limit at all on November 14-15. Everything below comes from the official Into the Wild 2026 post on pokemongo.com, checked November 2, 2026 at 15:50 UTC.
“Local time” means the time on your phone’s clock, wherever you are. The event doesn’t start at one moment worldwide. It begins at 10:00 a.m. in each time zone in turn, so players in the Pacific islands and New Zealand start many hours before players in the Americas. The UTC table further down converts every key moment for four regions.

Into the Wild schedule: what happens each day
The five-day event has a featured boss nearly every evening. Each one gets an hour from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. local time on its day, according to the official post.
| Day (local time) | Featured hour, 6:00-7:00 p.m. | Also live all week |
|---|---|---|
| Mon Nov 9 (starts 10:00 a.m.) | Raid Hour: Crowned Sword Zacian | Five-star raids: Crowned Zacian and Zamazenta. Three-star raids: Druddigon, Orthworm. One-star Max Battles: Ralts. Two-star Max Battles: Machop. |
| Tue Nov 10 | Raid Hour: Crowned Shield Zamazenta | |
| Wed Nov 11 | Five-star Max Battles: Dynamax Registeel | |
| Thu Nov 12 | Five-star Max Battles: Dynamax Regidrago (debut) | |
| Fri Nov 13 (ends 8:00 p.m.) | Five-star Max Battles: Dynamax Latias and Latios |
The post lists each five-star Max Battle boss under its own day. It doesn’t spell out whether those bosses also appear outside their day, so plan on Thursday for Regidrago. Beating Crowned Sword Zacian or Crowned Shield Zamazenta in raids earns Crowned Sword Energy or Crowned Shield Energy.

Remote Raid limit during Into the Wild
The Remote Raid limit goes up to 30 from Monday, November 9, to Friday, November 13, 2026. On Saturday, November 14, and Sunday, November 15, there’s no Remote Raid limit at all. That weekend is Pokémon GO Wild Area 2026: Global (10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local both days), with Dynamax Dialga on Saturday and Dynamax Palkia on Sunday.
The official post gives dates for the change, not times of day. It talks about raids only, so don’t assume the same limit applies to remote Max Battles. If you join a lot of Zacian and Zamazenta raids remotely, the two Raid Hours on Monday and Tuesday are when the most players will be raiding the same boss.
Dynamax Regidrago: when to battle it and the best counters
Dynamax Regidrago is in five-star Max Battles on Thursday, November 12, with its featured hour from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. local. It can be Shiny. Every Regidrago caught during the event knows the Fast Attack Dragon Breath. Regidrago is a pure Dragon type, so Dragon, Ice and Fairy attacks hit it for super-effective damage.
These are the top Dynamax and Gigantamax counters in Pokebattler’s five-star Max Battle simulation, with attackers at level 40 and ranked by Pokebattler’s overall rating. We checked on November 2 at 15:55 UTC. Regidrago isn’t live yet, so Pokebattler is using its default five-star Max Battle boss stats for now. Treat this as a guide and check again on November 12.
| Rank | Counter | Fast Attack | Charged Attack | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Crowned Sword Zacian | Metal Claw | Play Rough | Legendary; Crowned Sword is in this week’s raids |
| 2 | Crowned Shield Zamazenta | Ice Fang | Behemoth Bash | Legendary; Crowned Shield is in this week’s raids |
| 3 | Eternatus | Dragon Tail | Dynamax Cannon | Legendary |
| 4 | Dynamax Gardevoir | Charm | Triple Axel | Ralts is in one-star Max Battles all week |
| 5 | Gigantamax Lapras | Ice Shard | Blizzard | Ice |
| 6 | Dynamax Duraludon | Dragon Tail | Dragon Claw | Dragon |
| 7 | Dynamax Sylveon | Charm | Dazzling Gleam | Fairy |
| 8 | Dynamax Glaceon | Frost Breath | Avalanche | Ice |
| 9 | Dynamax Gyarados | Dragon Breath | Outrage | Dragon |
| 10 | Dynamax Articuno | Frost Breath | Triple Axel | Legendary, Ice |
| 11 | Dynamax Excadrill | Metal Claw | Iron Head | Steel |
| 12 | Dynamax Latias | Dragon Breath | Outrage | Legendary, Dragon |
If you have no Legendary Dynamax Pokémon, the non-Legendary picks in the table are the place to start: Gardevoir, Gigantamax Lapras, Duraludon, Sylveon and Glaceon. If players complete the Into the Wild Global Challenge, energy collected in Max Battles will fill the meter faster. For a reminder of how a Max Battle Day works, see our Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf Max Battle Day guide.
Registeel, Latias and Latios
Dynamax Registeel leads on Wednesday, November 11, and caught ones know the Fast Attack Metal Claw. Dynamax Latias and Latios share Friday, November 13. Latias caught during the event knows Mist Ball and Latios knows Luster Purge, the two signature Charged Attacks. All three can be Shiny. Five-star raids and five-star Max Battles during the event can also give a new Special Background after a successful catch. It shows when the Pokémon was caught, on the road to Pokémon GO Wild Area.
How to get Dynamax Meltan and Shiny Meltan
Dynamax Meltan isn’t in Max Battles. It’s a reward in GO Pass: Into the Wild: the free track has one Dynamax Meltan encounter, and GO Pass Deluxe adds more.
Regular Meltan still comes from the Mystery Box. Here’s how to use it during the event:
- Get a Mystery Box by sending a Pokémon from Pokémon GO to Pokémon HOME, or to Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Let’s Go, Eevee! on Nintendo Switch.
- Open the Mystery Box between Monday, November 9 at 10:00 a.m. and Sunday, November 15 at 6:00 p.m. local. During that window, Meltan from the box can be Shiny.
- Open it again sooner than usual. The event cuts the wait before you can reopen the box. The post doesn’t say how long the new wait is.

GO Pass: Into the Wild rewards
Every Trainer gets GO Pass: Into the Wild free on Monday, November 9 at 10:00 a.m. local. You can earn GO Points and rank up until Sunday, November 15 at 6:00 p.m. local. From Monday to Friday, GO Points are capped each day. On Saturday and Sunday, November 14-15, there’s no cap. Deluxe costs US$14.99, or US$19.99 with 10 ranks. We compared it with the other November passes in our GO Pass November 2026 guide, which also covers the Tier 1 link to GO Pass: Dynamax Trails.
| Track | Rewards (official list) | Milestone bonuses |
|---|---|---|
| Free | Dynamax Meltan encounter, event-themed encounters, GO Wild Area 2026 Tee (Purple), Stardust, XP, Poké Balls, Candy and more | Rank 25: 1/2 Hatch Distance for Eggs placed in Incubators during the event |
| Deluxe | Everything on the free track, plus a Silver Bottle Cap, more Dynamax Meltan encounters, Duraludon Pants, and premium items such as Incense and a Lucky Egg | Rank 1: +5,000 XP per raid and per Max Battle. Rank 2: 3/4 Max Particle cost for unlocking and powering up Max Moves. Rank 3: +1 Candy per raid and Max Battle, plus +1 Candy XL at Trainer level 31+ |
Rewards must be claimed by Tuesday, November 17 at 11:59 p.m. local. You can upgrade to Deluxe at any point and still collect rewards for ranks you’ve already reached.
Silver Bottle Cap: what it does and when it expires
The Silver Bottle Cap from GO Pass Deluxe starts Hyper Training. It maxes one stat of your choice (Attack, Defense or HP) on one Pokémon. The rules:
- The Pokémon must be a Good Buddy or higher. Shadow Pokémon and Pokémon whose stats are already maxed can’t be picked.
- You train by doing tasks themed to the stat. Attack means battling with it, Defense means playing, exploring and catching with your buddy, and HP means exploring with it as your buddy.
- Once you use the cap, you have 365 days to finish the training.
- A Hyper Trained Pokémon can’t be transferred to Pokémon HOME.
- The cap expires on Sunday, November 22, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. local, no matter when you claimed it.
Event bonuses, wild spawns and research
- Shiny Gimmighoul: using a Coin Bag can give a Shiny Gimmighoul encounter from Nov 9, 10:00 a.m. to Nov 15, 6:00 p.m. local.
- Wild spawns: Magnemite, Noibat, Togedemaru and other event-themed Pokémon. The three named ones can be Shiny.
- Field Research: Pokémon GO Wild Area-themed tasks for the whole event. Rewards are encounters with event Pokémon and other items. The post doesn’t list the tasks.
- Global Challenge: Trainers worldwide complete raids and Max Battles together. If they finish it, the Adventure Effects of Crowned Sword Zacian’s Behemoth Blade and Crowned Shield Zamazenta’s Behemoth Bash become more effective, and Max Battle energy fills the meter faster.
- Stickers: GO Wild Area stickers from PokéStops and Gifts from Nov 9 to Nov 15, and in the in-game shop from Friday, November 6.
- No Daily Discoveries from November 9 through November 15, 2026.
Into the Wild is one of several events this month. Our Pokémon GO November 2026 events guide has the full calendar, and Pokémon GO raids this week tracks the current bosses. Looking further ahead, the next big ticketed event is Pokémon GO Tour 2027 in Alola.
FAQ
When does Pokémon GO Into the Wild 2026 start and end?
It starts on Monday, November 9 at 10:00 a.m. and ends on Friday, November 13 at 8:00 p.m. local time. The GO Pass and the Mystery Box and Gimmighoul bonuses last until Sunday, November 15 at 6:00 p.m. local.
Can Dynamax Regidrago be Shiny?
Yes. The official post marks Dynamax Regidrago as possibly Shiny, along with Dynamax Meltan, Registeel, Latias, Latios and the Crowned Zacian and Zamazenta raids.
What is Regidrago weak to in Pokémon GO?
Regidrago is a pure Dragon type, so Dragon, Ice and Fairy moves are super effective against it. In Pokebattler’s simulation, Crowned Sword Zacian, Crowned Shield Zamazenta and Eternatus rank highest, and Dynamax Gardevoir and Gigantamax Lapras are the best non-Legendary picks.
Is GO Pass Deluxe: Into the Wild worth it?
It’s US$14.99, the most expensive of November’s passes. It adds the Silver Bottle Cap, more Dynamax Meltan encounters and raid and Max Battle bonuses (extra XP, Candy and Candy XL, cheaper Max Moves). It’s best value for players who will raid and Max Battle a lot between Nov 9 and Nov 15, and who have a Good Buddy worth Hyper Training before November 22.
