Every My Singing Monsters breeding chart on the first four Natural islands works the same way. You buy the island’s four Single-Element monsters, any two of them make a guaranteed Double, a Double plus a missing Single makes a Triple, and a Triple plus the last Single gives you the island’s Quad. Below you’ll find the full chart for Plant, Cold, Air and Water Island. Each one lists the best combo, the breeding time, the island’s Ethereal, Legendary, Mythical and Seasonal combos, and the separate combo for every Epic version. The combos come from the community-run My Singing Monsters Wiki and were checked on October 30, 2026 against game version 5.7.4.
Table of Contents
Quick answer
- Plant Island Quad: Entbrat = Noggin + Bowgart (1 day, 18h enhanced).
- Cold Island Quad: Deedge = Toe Jammer + Thumpies (1 day).
- Air Island Quad: Riff = Noggin + Congle (1 day).
- Water Island Quad: Shellbeat = Noggin + Spunge (1 day).
- Doubles never fail: two different Singles always give the Double. Triples, Quads and special monsters can fail and hand you back a parent.
- Epics use different combos on each island (Epic Potbelly is Entbrat + Shrubb on Plant Island, but Deedge + Oaktopus on Cold Island).
- Right now: Spooktacle runs until November 2, so Punkleton (Bowgart + T-Rox) can be bred on Plant Island.
How breeding works on the Natural islands
According to the wiki’s Breeding page, the Breeding Structure unlocks at player level 7, and both parents must be at least level 4. The egg gets every element of both parents. If the two parents share an element, no new monster is possible and you get one of the parents back. That’s why Drumpler (Earth + Cold) and Mammott (Cold) never produce anything new.
- Success rates: Natural Doubles are 100%. Triples are less likely, Quads less likely still, and special monsters (Ethereal, Legendary, Mythical, Seasonal) have low odds.
- Enhanced Breeding Structure: cuts every breeding time by 25%. That’s the second time in each table below.
- Parent levels: levels above 4 raise the odds of rarer results, and both parents count.
- Wishing Torches: you can place up to 10 per island. Lighting one costs 2 Diamonds for 24 hours (or 100 Diamonds to keep it lit for good), and friends can light them for free. Lit torches shift the odds toward the rarest result of a combo. The wiki notes that the exact effect per torch is unknown.
- Fail fast: when a combo can fail, pick the version whose “fail” result has the shorter timer, so you can try again sooner. For Ghazt, Entbrat + T-Rox fails into an 8-hour T-Rox, while the other Triples take 12 hours.

Plant Island breeding chart
Plant Island is the free starter island. Its elements are Plant, Earth, Water and Cold, so the Singles are Potbelly, Noggin, Toe Jammer and Mammott. “Market” means you buy that monster instead of breeding it. Epic monsters can’t be used as parents, and each one can only be bred while it’s available.

Plant Island special monsters
- Ghazt (Ethereal): Entbrat + T-Rox, 1d 12h (1d 3h). Epic Ghazt: T-Rox + Furcorn. Our Ghazt and Rare Ghazt breeding guide goes deeper.
- Shugabush (Legendary): Clamble + Bowgart, 1d 11h (1d 2h 15m). It only breeds here, and it’s the key to Shugabush Island.
- G’joob (Mythical): Pummel + T-Rox, 18h (13h 30m). Epic G’joob: Entbrat + Maw.
- Punkleton (Seasonal, Spooktacle): Bowgart + T-Rox, 18h (13h 30m). Epic Punkleton: Entbrat + Drumpler. See our Punkleton breeding guide.

Cold Island breeding chart
Cold Island unlocks at level 4 for 5,000 Coins, and the wiki says unlocking it pays out 50,000 Coins and 500 XP. Its elements are Air, Plant, Water and Cold, so the Singles are Tweedle, Potbelly, Toe Jammer and Mammott.
| Monster | Elements | Best combo | Time (enhanced) | Epic combo on Cold |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tweedle | Air | Market | – | Deedge + Dandidoo |
| Potbelly | Plant | Market | – | Deedge + Oaktopus |
| Toe Jammer | Water | Market | – | Deedge + Quibble |
| Mammott | Cold | Market | – | Deedge + Maw |
| Dandidoo | Air, Plant | Tweedle + Potbelly | 8h (6h) | Bowgart + Quibble |
| Quibble | Air, Water | Tweedle + Toe Jammer | 8h (6h) | Congle + Dandidoo |
| Pango | Air, Cold | Tweedle + Mammott | 8h (6h) | Thumpies + Oaktopus |
| Oaktopus | Plant, Water | Potbelly + Toe Jammer | 8h (6h) | Spunge + Pango |
| Furcorn | Plant, Cold | Potbelly + Mammott | 8h (6h) | Spunge + Maw |
| Maw | Water, Cold | Toe Jammer + Mammott | 30m (22m 30s) | Spunge + Furcorn |
| Spunge | Air, Plant, Water | Toe Jammer + Dandidoo | 12h (9h) | Thumpies + Quibble |

| Bowgart | Plant, Water, Cold | Toe Jammer + Furcorn | 12h (9h) | Congle + Furcorn |
| Deedge | All four | Toe Jammer + Thumpies | 1d (18h) | Bowgart + Pango |
Cold Island special monsters
- Grumpyre (Ethereal): Deedge + any Triple, 1d 12h (1d 3h). Epic Grumpyre: Bowgart + Dandidoo.
- bbli$zard (Legendary): Thumpies + Congle, 1d 11h (1d 2h 15m). It has to reach level 15 before it can be teleported to bbli$zard Island.
- Strombonin (Mythical): Spunge + Bowgart, 23h (17h 15m). Epic Strombonin: Deedge + Furcorn.
- Yool (Seasonal, Festival of Yay): Thumpies + Congle, 1d 12h (1d 3h). Epic Yool: Deedge + Pango.
Watch out: bbli$zard and Yool share the same pair, Thumpies + Congle. The wiki lists their timers an hour apart (1d 11h vs 1d 12h), so the egg’s timer tells you which one you’re incubating. Yool’s old combo was changed in 2014 for exactly this reason: it clashed with a Grumpyre combo that had the same timer.

| Shellbeat | All four | Noggin + Spunge | 1d (18h) | Spunge + Cybop |
Water Island special monsters
- Jeeode (Ethereal): Shellbeat + any Triple, 1d 12h (1d 3h). Epic Jeeode: Pummel + Quibble. Our Jeeode breeding guide has more on it.
- T-Pirainha (Legendary): it can’t be bred at all. You can only buy it in the Market.
- Anglow (Mythical): Scups + Pummel, 1d 9h (1d 45m). Epic Anglow: Shellbeat + Cybop.
- Blabbit (Seasonal, Eggs-Travaganza): Spunge + Scups, 19h (14h 15m). Epic Blabbit: Shellbeat + Oaktopus.
How to breed Rare monsters on these islands
Rare monsters use the same combo as their Common version, but only while they’re available. Rare Singles are the exception: you breed two different Triples that share that Single’s element. For example, Bowgart + Pummel can give Rare Potbelly or Rare Toe Jammer, because both Triples have Plant and Water. A Rare Single takes 6 hours (4h 30m enhanced).
- More copies of a Common: breeding a Common with its Rare version gives the Common 100% of the time.
- More Singles: a Quad + a Single always gives the Single.
- More Triples: if you don’t have the Rare, the next best pair is Quad + Triple. It sometimes gives an Ethereal or the Quad instead.
What you can breed right now (checked October 30, 2026)
The wiki lists Spooktacle 2026 as running from October 14 to November 2, so Punkleton is breedable on Plant Island until then. At 16:55 UTC on October 30, the wiki’s live Availability tracker listed these as available:
- The Rare and Epic versions of every Plant Island Natural monster (Potbelly through Entbrat).
- Rare and Epic Ghazt, Rare and Epic G’joob.
- Rare and Epic Punkleton.
That makes this a good week for the Plant Island Epic column above. Promotions change often, so check the in-game Market before you spend Diamonds on torches. The latest update, version 5.7.4 (October 28 on the App Store), adds the Paironormal Carnival finale and the last wave of bbli$zard Island. Its notes don’t mention any change to Natural island combos.
FAQ
What is the best combo for Entbrat?
Noggin + Bowgart on Plant Island. It takes 1 day (18 hours with the Enhanced Breeding Structure), and it can fail and give you Noggin or Bowgart back.
Why did my breeding give me one of the parents?
Either the parents share an element, so no new monster is possible, or the combo (a Triple, a Quad or a special monster) failed. Only Natural Doubles are guaranteed.
Can you breed T-Pirainha on Water Island?
No. T-Pirainha is one of the monsters that can’t be bred at all. You buy it in the Market.
Do Wishing Torches really help?
Yes. Lit torches move some of the chance away from common results and toward the rarest result of the combo. They don’t add new outcomes, and the exact boost per torch isn’t known.
Is there a breeding calculator?
The wiki has a Breeding Calculator that lists every possible result of a pair on a given island. It’s useful for checking combos that aren’t in the tables above.
