How to Breed T-Rox in My Singing Monsters: Combos, Time

Written by Nora

T-Rox breeds from Maw + Noggin (or Drumpler + Toe Jammer, Fwog + Mammott) on Plant or Air Island in 8 hours. Rare and Epic T-Rox combos, likes and prices.

To breed T-Rox in My Singing Monsters, put a Maw and a Noggin in the Breeding Structure on Plant Island or Air Island. T-Rox is Earth, Water and Cold, so Drumpler + Toe Jammer and Fwog + Mammott work too. A T-Rox egg shows an 8 hour timer (6 hours enhanced), the shortest of any Natural Triple. Below are the three combos, a timer table, why it can’t be bred on Cold Island, and how to get Rare and Epic T-Rox.

Quick answer

  • Best combo: Maw + Noggin. A failed try that gives a Noggin hatches in 5 seconds, so you can retry almost at once, the My Singing Monsters Wiki notes.
  • Other combos: Drumpler + Toe Jammer (a close second) and Fwog + Mammott.
  • Islands you can breed it on: Plant Island and Air Island (plus their Mirror versions). Not Cold Island or Earth Island.
  • Breeding time: 8h. Enhanced: 6h. Skin boost: 7h 12m. Enhanced and boosted: 5h 12m.
  • Unlocks at: level 7. T-Rox needs 3 beds and a 2×2 space.
  • Closest to 100%: T-Rox + Rare T-Rox always gives a T-Rox while Rare T-Rox isn’t available.
  • Buy it instead: 50 Diamonds (60 on The Colossingum).
  • Rare and Epic T-Rox: still listed on the wiki’s live availability tracker at 13:00 UTC on November 2, 2026, in Spooktacle’s “Everything Here Is Alive!” sale of all Plant Island Rares and Epics. The wiki dates that sale October 29 to November 2, so it ends today.

How to breed T-Rox: all three combos

T-Rox is a Natural Triple-Element monster with Earth, Water and Cold. Any two monsters that add up to exactly those three elements can breed it. Plant Island’s four Singles are Noggin (Earth), Toe Jammer (Water), Mammott (Cold) and Potbelly (Plant), and Air Island swaps Potbelly for Tweedle (Air). So every combo below works on both islands:

Combo Elements Parent timers (default / enhanced) Why use it
Maw + Noggin (best) Water + Cold, plus Earth Maw 30m / 22m 30s, Noggin 5s / 3s A failed Noggin egg costs you seconds
Drumpler + Toe Jammer Earth + Cold, plus Water Drumpler 30m / 22m 30s, Toe Jammer 1m / 45s Nearly as quick to retry
Fwog + Mammott Earth + Water, plus Cold Fwog 30m / 22m 30s, Mammott 2m / 1m 30s Works fine, just a little slower per failure

None of these combos is guaranteed, and Big Blue Bubble doesn’t publish the odds. Breeding doesn’t use up either parent, so you can retry as often as you like. From a fresh island, this is the order that wastes the least time:

  1. Reach level 7. T-Rox, Maw, Drumpler and Fwog all unlock at level 7.
  2. Breed a Maw from Toe Jammer + Mammott, the wiki’s best combo. Two Singles always make their Double, and the egg takes only 30 minutes.
  3. Pair the Maw with a Noggin. Watch the timer: 8h (or 6h enhanced) means a T-Rox.
  4. If you got a Noggin, sell it and try again. If you got a Maw, keep it: a second Maw lets you run two attempts at once with a second Breeding Structure.
  5. Free up 3 beds and a 2×2 spot before the egg hatches.

T-Rox breeding time: did you get one?

The timer on the Breeding Structure tells you what’s inside before it hatches. These are the wiki’s times. Incubation in the Nursery lasts as long as breeding, so a default-speed T-Rox holds the Breeding Structure for 8 hours and the Nursery for another 8. The Enhanced Breeding Structure and Enhanced Nursery each cut time by 25%.

Timer shows (default) Enhanced Skin boost Enhanced + boosted Result
19h 14h 15m 17h 6m 12h 21m Epic T-Rox (only from its own Epic combos, during sales)
10h 30m 7h 52m 30s 9h 27m 6h 49m 30s Rare T-Rox (only during sales)
8h 6h 7h 12m 5h 12m T-Rox
30m 22m 30s 27m 19m 30s Maw, Drumpler or Fwog
2m or less 1m 30s or less – – Mammott, Toe Jammer or Noggin

That 8-hour timer is unusual. The wiki points out that T-Rox is the only Natural Triple that doesn’t take 12 hours, which makes it the fastest Triple parent for Plant and Air Island’s Ethereals.

How to breed T-Rox on Plant Island vs Air Island

The combos and timers are the same on both islands. What changes is what you do with the T-Rox afterwards:

  • Plant Island (open from level 1): T-Rox + Potbelly breeds Entbrat, the island’s Quad (1d, or 18h enhanced). See all seven Entbrat combos. Then T-Rox + Entbrat is the wiki’s best combo for the Ethereal Ghazt (1d 12h), with about a 1% chance per try. Our Ghazt breeding guide has the details.
  • Air Island (unlocks at level 4 for 50,000 coins once you own Cold Island): T-Rox + Tweedle breeds Riff, Air Island’s Quad (1d, 18h enhanced). Then T-Rox + Riff is the best combo for the Ethereal Reebro (1d 12h), again about 1% per try.

T-Rox also appears on Gold Island, Tribal Island, Composer Island and The Colossingum, which have their own rules for getting monsters. Placing your first T-Rox on Gold Island pays 2,000,000 coins, according to the wiki.

Can you breed T-Rox on Cold Island or Earth Island?

No. Each Natural island only has four elements, and T-Rox needs Earth, Water and Cold together. Cold Island has Air, Plant, Water and Cold, so it has no Earth. Earth Island has Air, Plant, Earth and Cold, so it has no Water. That’s why neither island lists T-Rox. If you’re on Cold Island, its Triples are Congle, Spunge, Thumpies and Bowgart, and its Ethereal is Grumpyre (see our Grumpyre breeding guide).

Is there a 100% way to breed T-Rox?

Only one, and only some of the time. The wiki lists T-Rox + Rare T-Rox as a 100% chance of a T-Rox while Rare T-Rox isn’t available. When the Rare is on sale, the same pair can give a Rare T-Rox instead, so you still get a T-Rox of some kind.

Two other failure combos can hand you extra T-Roxes:

  • T-Rox + Entbrat (Plant) or T-Rox + Riff (Air): usually gives a parent back, with a small chance of Ghazt or Reebro.
  • T-Rox + Noggin: only a slight chance of another T-Rox, but a failed Noggin takes 5 seconds.

How to breed Rare T-Rox and Epic T-Rox

Both only breed or sell during limited promotions. Rare T-Rox uses the same three combos as the Common version (or T-Rox + Noggin). Epic T-Rox has its own combo on each island, and it isn’t guaranteed:

Variant Combo Time (enhanced) Buy price
Rare T-Rox Maw + Noggin, Drumpler + Toe Jammer or Fwog + Mammott 10h 30m (7h 52m 30s) 65 Diamonds, or 2,500 Starpower in the StarShop (1,250 at 50% off)
Epic T-Rox, Plant Island Pummel + Drumpler 19h (14h 15m) 500 Diamonds
Epic T-Rox, Air Island Congle + Fwog 19h (14h 15m) 500 Diamonds

Pummel is a Plant Island Triple that unlocks at level 9 (best combo Noggin + Oaktopus, 12h), and Congle is an Air and Cold Island Triple (Toe Jammer + Pango, 12h). Epics can’t be used as breeding parents.

These were the 2026 sales that included T-Rox by name, island or “all”, according to the wiki’s Rare and Epic logs:

Dates (2026) Promotion Rare Epic
Feb 10-11 Rare T-Rox, Maw, Phangler and Wynq Yes No
Feb 12-16 “Love is in the Air” (all Air Island Rares and Epics) Yes Yes
Jun 10-17 “Secret Sauce” (tied to Epic Bona-Petite) No Yes
Aug 26-Sep 2, Sep 9-16 Anniversary Month “Island Spotlight” (Plant Island, then Air Island) Yes Yes
Sep 30-Oct 7 “Grand Finale” (every Rare and Epic) Yes Yes
Oct 7-14 “Secret Sauce” (tied to Epic Pixolotl) No Yes
Oct 15-19 Spooktacle “Dressed to Thrill” No Yes
Oct 29-Nov 2 Spooktacle “Everything Here Is Alive!” (all Plant Island Rares and Epics) Yes Yes

No official end time for the current sale is published, so if you want either variant, start the egg today. For the other Plant and Air Island Epics, see our My Singing Monsters breeding chart. Spooktacle, which the wiki dates October 14 to November 2, is also the only time T-Rox + Bowgart can give the Seasonal Punkleton (our Bowgart breeding guide covers that parent).

What does T-Rox like?

Each different liked item near a monster raises its happiness by 25%. T-Rox’s likes, with the level each one unlocks at, per the wiki:

Like Unlock level Island limit
Potbelly 9 Plant Island
Congle 7 Air Island
Bloofi Tree 12 None listed
Piney Tree 13 None listed
Dragoon Statue (the secret like) 16 None listed

Potbelly and Congle like T-Rox back, so on Plant Island a Potbelly next to a T-Rox lifts both. Rare T-Rox has a different set: T-Rox, Saggle Tree, Fossil-osaurus and Yum Yum Tree (the secret like).

Is T-Rox worth breeding?

  • Rewards: placing your first T-Rox completes a goal worth 5,000 coins and 50 treats, and gives 7,000 XP.
  • Coins: low, like most Triples, though the wiki says it out-earns Plant Island’s other Triples at its maximum. It sells for 14,000 coins.
  • Breeding: it’s the fast Triple parent for Entbrat, Riff, Ghazt and Reebro, and Shrubb + T-Rox is one of the wiki’s combos for Epic Entbrat.
  • Wublin eggs: the wiki lists T-Rox eggs for Tympa (12), Pixolotl (8), Blipsqueak, Bona-Petite, Creepuscule and Zuuker (6 each), and Zynth and Monculus (1 each). Spare 8-hour T-Rox eggs are cheap filler.

Maw + Noggin on Plant or Air Island. Drumpler + Toe Jammer is a close second. Both waste very little time when the attempt fails.

How long does it take to breed a T-Rox?

8 hours, or 6 hours in an Enhanced Breeding Structure. Rare T-Rox shows 10 hours 30 minutes and Epic T-Rox 19 hours.

How do you breed Rare T-Rox on Plant Island?

Use the normal combos (Maw + Noggin is best) while Rare T-Rox is on sale. Watch for a 10h 30m timer. It was available in the Plant Island sale that the wiki dates October 29 to November 2, 2026.

How do you breed Epic T-Rox?

Pummel + Drumpler on Plant Island, or Congle + Fwog on Air Island, only while Epic T-Rox is available. A 19-hour timer means it worked.

How do you breed T-Rox in Dawn of Fire?
