Prices are unchanged since our first check on October 16, when we compared the US, UK, German, Canadian and Australian stores for our GTA 6 editions and pre-order bonuses guide. Neither store shows a pre-order discount anywhere we looked.
Is GTA 6 the same price on PS5 and Xbox?
Yes, almost everywhere. In 19 of the 22 countries the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store list exactly the same price for both editions. Three countries differ:
- Mexico: the PS Store shows MX$1,292.24 and MX$1,619.83, while Xbox shows MX$1,499 and MX$1,879. The PlayStation figures are exactly the Xbox prices with Mexico’s 16% VAT taken off (1,292.24 × 1.16 = 1,499). That suggests the PS Store is showing the price before tax, with VAT added at checkout. This is our reading of the numbers; the listing doesn’t explain it.
- Saudi Arabia: SAR 301.56 and SAR 376.96 on PlayStation, SAR 309 and SAR 389 on Xbox.
- United Arab Emirates: the PS Store charges in dirhams (AED 299.16 and AED 373.96), but the Microsoft Store’s UAE listing is priced in US dollars at $79.99 and $99.99.
The game itself is the same on both consoles: the PS Store lists it as PS5 Pro Enhanced, and both stores describe it as “a single-player experience”. For what that means for any online mode, see what Rockstar has said about GTA 6 Online.
GTA 6 Ultimate Edition price and upgrade cost
The Ultimate Edition costs $20 more than the Standard Edition in the US, £20 more in the UK and €20 more in euro countries. It adds story-linked extras such as the Ganado Retro Build, the ’67 Vapid Dominator Buggy, the Rideout Customs and One-Eyed Willie’s mod shops, and the Stock 305 clothing store, according to Rockstar’s GTA VI site. Bought the Standard Edition already? On Xbox you can buy the Ultimate Edition Upgrade on its own:

So upgrading later costs the same as buying the Ultimate Edition now, at least on Xbox. On PlayStation, the Rockstar Store says Standard owners can “upgrade to the Ultimate Edition on PlayStation Store at any time”, but the PS Store’s GTA VI page didn’t show a separate upgrade price when we checked. One catch from the PS Store listing: the “Ultimate Edition Upgrade is not eligible” for the free GTA+ month, which only comes with a digital pre-order of the full game.

GTA 6 price in India
GTA 6 costs Rs 5,999 for the Standard Edition and Rs 7,499 for the Ultimate Edition on the Indian PlayStation Store, and the Microsoft Store in India lists the same two prices for Xbox Series X|S. The Xbox upgrade from Standard to Ultimate is Rs 1,500. As in every region, both digital editions come with the pre-order bonuses if you buy before the deadline (see below).
GTA 6 price in the UK, Europe and Canada
In the UK, GTA 6 is £69.99 (Standard) and £89.99 (Ultimate) on the UK PlayStation Store and on Xbox. Every euro store we checked (Germany, France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands and Ireland) lists €79.99 and €99.99, which matches the US dollar price number for number. Poland is 349 zł and 429 zł. In Canada the game is CA$109.99 and CA$139.99, and the Xbox upgrade is CA$30.
GTA 6 price in Pakistan
There is no official price in Pakistani rupees. The PlayStation Store has no Pakistan storefront (its Pakistan address sends you to the US store), and Microsoft’s catalog shows no purchase price for GTA 6 in the Pakistan market. Treat any “GTA 6 price in Pakistan” figure you see as a third-party seller’s price, not Rockstar’s.
How much is a physical copy of GTA 6?
The Rockstar Store sells the PS5 and Xbox Series X boxed versions for $79.99 on its US listing. The box has no disc. According to the store’s FAQ, it “will only contain a download code inside the box to support pre-load on November 12”, and it needs an internet connection and a platform account. Shipping starts November 12, 2026. PlayStation codes from the Rockstar Store are region-locked: copies shipped to the US and Canada only work on PlayStation accounts from those two countries, UK copies only on UK accounts, and European copies on accounts from a listed set of European countries.
Is there a GTA 6 PC price?

What every edition includes at this price
Both editions get the same pre-order bonuses. The Microsoft Store listing says to “purchase prior to 19 November 2026 23:59:59” to receive the Vintage Vice City Pack and one month of GTA+. The PS Store says the GTA+ month must be claimed by March 31, 2027 and then “will continue monthly at the regular monthly price until canceled”, so cancel it if you don’t want to keep paying.
