Monday, November 2: Gravhounds and the Pikmin 4 demo

Gravhounds starts the week as a Game Preview on Xbox and PC. Xbox Wire describes it as a one-to-four player co-op game about building a base on hostile planets and extracting loot, and it’s on Game Pass from day one. Worth your time if you have a regular co-op group.

Nintendo also puts a free Pikmin 4 Switch 2 Edition demo on the eShop the same day, ten days before the full upgrade launches on November 12. Our Pikmin Day Direct recap has the details.

Tuesday, November 3: Godzilla, Zero Parades and FM27

Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered is Atari and Pipeworks’ Unreal Engine 5 rebuild of the 2002 kaiju arena brawler. Steam and the Nintendo store both list November 3, and the Switch 2 download is $29.99. Atari announced PS5 and Xbox Series versions too, though the game isn’t in Xbox Wire’s list for the week, so check your console’s store on the day. Worth your time if you want a couch party game.

Zero Parades: Director’s Cut, the spy RPG from Disco Elysium studio ZA/UM, comes to PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Switch 2 on November 3, according to ZA/UM’s announcement. All console versions include the Director’s Cut content, about 40,000 new words. It’s $39.99 on the Switch 2 eShop and Steam. Worth your time if you like dense, text-heavy RPGs.

Football Manager 27 doesn’t fully launch until November 10, but November 3 matters. The free PC Launch Preview ends at 18:00 UTC that day, Sports Interactive says. After that, you need a pre-purchase (10% off; $53.99 instead of $59.99 on Steam) or Xbox/PC Game Pass to keep playing your save until launch. Our FM27 Launch Preview guide explains how saves carry over, and FM27 Mobile arrives on Netflix on November 10.

PS Plus members get this month’s games on Tuesday too: Dead Island 2, Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered and Monster Train 2 are playable from November 3 to November 30, per the PlayStation Blog.

Wednesday, November 4: WoW Forever and Genshin 7.2

World of Warcraft: Forever launches worldwide on November 4 at 3:00 p.m. PST (23:00 UTC), Blizzard confirms. It’s a reimagined original Azeroth that keeps growing after launch, and access is included with a WoW subscription or Game Time. Worth your time if you liked Classic but want new content. Name reservation already opened; see our WoW Forever name reservation guide.

Genshin Impact 7.2 arrives the same day, HoYoverse’s update notes say. HoYoverse hasn’t posted the maintenance times yet. Our Genshin 7.2 guide covers Mitya and the banners.

On Xbox, Void/Breaker gets its 1.0 release on Game Pass, and the ’80s horror action RPG Kingdom of Night ($19.99) reaches Xbox Series X|S after its PC launch last December.

Thursday, November 5: Ocarina of Time and the Switch 2’s big day

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is the week’s headline. It costs $59.99 digital and $69.99 physical. Nintendo hasn’t posted a specific unlock time. Its support page says pre-purchased games unlock from 12:00 a.m. Eastern on release day, which is 05:00 UTC on November 5. Pre-load is open now. Our list of 8 new features in Ocarina of Time covers what changed from the original.

Stellar Blade Complete Edition ($59.99) launches at the same moment worldwide: 15:00 UTC (7:00 a.m. PST) on November 5, which is midnight on November 6 in Korea and Japan, Shift Up’s press release says. Four Bayonetta outfits arrive free at the same time on Switch 2, PS5 and PC. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Encore Edition ($39.99) also lands on Switch 2.

For something calmer, Annapurna’s Faraway ($9.99 on Switch 2) is a short constellation-linking arcade game on every major platform. Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School ($19.99) is a co-op escape-room puzzle sequel on PC, PS5 and Xbox, and it’s on Game Pass on day one. Worth your time if you have a puzzle-loving friend for local or online co-op. More gentle picks are in our new cozy games for November.

Thursday is also Epic’s free-game swap. Sorry We’re Closed stays free until November 5 at 16:00 UTC, then Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms and Flotsam are free until November 12 at 16:00 UTC (Epic Games Store listing). Our free games this week page tracks every store, and free games in November 2026 has the whole month.

Friday, November 6: Modern Warfare 4 Season 1

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Season 1 goes live on November 6, Activision wrote on the PlayStation Blog. It adds three multiplayer maps (Backstab, Canyon and a remade Shoot House), the Grind and Drop Zone modes, the X01 facility in DMZ, two Warzone maps and a 100-plus item Battle Pass. Activision hasn’t posted the start time yet. Our MW4 Season 1 guide has the full list.

Smaller Friday releases on Xbox include the survival horror game SEEK ($14.99) and KEMCO’s RPG Shelterra the Skyworld ($19.99). The Switch 2 and Steam versions of Hasbro Games Junior Collection ($29.99, with Monopoly Jr., Clue Jr. and The Game of Life Jr.) also arrive on Friday, a day after the Xbox version. It’s the pick for families with young kids.

What about the weekend and next week?

We found no major releases dated November 7 or 8 on the store and publisher pages we checked. The next big week starts on Tuesday, November 10, with the full Football Manager 27 launch, Shrek 2 Remastered and Warhammer Survivors. Then Metaphor: ReFantazio and the full Pikmin 4 Switch 2 Edition follow on November 12. The whole month is in our games coming out in November 2026 list, and Switch 2 owners can use the Switch 2 November calendar. Daily reset times also moved an hour on November 1 for many games; see our daylight saving reset-time guide.

Apex Legends Season 31 (Cipher) is also due in early November, but EA’s news posts that we read don’t state the start date, so it’s not in the table.
