Black Friday 2026 is Friday, November 27, the day after US Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 26), and Cyber Monday follows on November 30. As of October 28, Walmart, Best Buy and Target have published their holiday sale dates, but PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo and Steam have not announced any Black Friday 2026 gaming deals yet. This page lists only what each company has officially confirmed, and we update it as new announcements come in.
- Black Friday 2026: Friday, November 27. Cyber Monday: November 30.
- Earliest confirmed sale: Best Buy’s DoorBOOsters from October 30, then Early Black Friday deals from November 6.
- Walmart: Early Black Friday deals November 12-15, Black Friday deals November 23-29, Cyber Monday deals November 30-December 2.
- PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo: no Black Friday 2026 offers announced yet. In 2025, they announced theirs between November 10 and 20.
- Steam: this year’s Autumn Sale already ran from October 1 to 8. Valve’s calendar has no sale on Black Friday weekend, and the next big one is the Winter Sale on December 17.

Retailer Black Friday dates: Best Buy, Walmart and Target
Best Buy posted its holiday calendar on October 27. The dates are in the table above. Stores are closed on Thanksgiving Day, but the app and BestBuy.com stay open. Two details matter if you buy a console or a big game early. Best Buy’s Holiday Price Match Guarantee covers price drops on items it sells during the season. And most purchases made from October 30 to December 31 can be returned until January 15, 2027. Best Buy’s announcement names Grand Theft Auto VI and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time among this season’s new games. Walmart announced three events on October 26. Each one starts online at 12:01 a.m. ET (05:01 UTC). Stores join the Black Friday event on November 27 at 6 a.m. local time. Walmart hasn’t named specific console or game deals yet.
Target’s October 21 announcement covers only the early deals in the table. Its main Black Friday dates haven’t been announced. The only gaming brand the release mentions is Nintendo, among its “top toys”.
PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo and Steam: nothing official yet
PlayStation: Sony hasn’t posted a US or global Black Friday 2026 offer. The only sale it has announced since then is the 11.11 Power Deals. These run October 30 to November 12 in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam, with discounts on DualSense and DualSense Edge controllers, the Pulse Elite headset and disc copies of games such as Marvel’s Wolverine and Saros.
Xbox: Xbox Wire has no Black Friday 2026 post yet.
Nintendo: no 2026 holiday offers yet. The Switch 2 bundles on Nintendo’s retail offers page are its regular bundles, not Black Friday prices: Mario Kart World at $549.99 MSRP and Nintendo Switch Sports Resort at $529.99 MSRP. Both include a 3-month Nintendo Switch Online membership.
Steam: Valve’s official sale calendar has no Black Friday event. Valve held the 2026 Autumn Sale from October 1 to 8 (the dates were on the same calendar in September), so it no longer lands on Thanksgiving week. Valve’s next listed events are the Auto-Battler RPG Fest (November 16-23) and the Winter Sale (December 17, 2026 to January 4, 2027, starting at 10 a.m. Pacific). Individual publishers can still discount their games on Black Friday weekend.

What happened in 2025 (context only, not 2026 deals)
None of last year’s offers have been confirmed for 2026. They only show when the platform holders usually announce theirs.
- PlayStation (announced Nov 18, 2025): deals from November 21 on PS Store, direct.playstation.com and at retailers. They included $100 off PS5, PS5 Digital Edition and PS5 Pro in select regions, $100 off PS VR2, and up to 75% off PS Store games (PlayStation Blog).
- Xbox (Nov 20, 2025): more than 2,000 games on sale until December 3, up to 75% off Xbox games and 85% off select PC games, and 14 days of Game Pass for $1 for new members (Xbox Wire).
- Nintendo (announced Nov 10, 2025): a Cyber Deals eShop sale from November 20 to December 3, and physical Switch game deals at retailers from November 23. It didn’t include a Switch 2 price cut (Nintendo).

When is Black Friday 2026?
Friday, November 27, 2026. Thanksgiving is Thursday, November 26, and Cyber Monday is November 30. Walmart’s and Best Buy’s sales start weeks earlier.
Is there a Steam Black Friday sale in 2026?
Not on Valve’s calendar. The Autumn Sale ran October 1-8, and the next seasonal sale is the Winter Sale from December 17. Some publishers may still discount their games that weekend.
Will the PS5 be on sale for Black Friday 2026?
Sony hasn’t said. Last year it took $100 off PS5 models in select regions from November 21, 2025, but we won’t list a 2026 PS5 price until PlayStation or a retailer publishes one.
When will PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo announce Black Friday deals?
They haven’t said. In 2025, Nintendo announced its offers on November 10, Sony on November 18 and Xbox on November 20. We’ll add each one here when it goes live.
