One thing to watch if you play in Europe: Epic’s Spanish Fortnite account lists the first window as 1-3 PM in Mexico and 4-6 PM in Argentina, which matches the table, but as 9-11 PM CET. That’s an hour later than a straight conversion of 2 PM ET. Check the event tile in your in-game News tab, which shows your local time, before you plan around the European slot.
What Treasure Hours boost this week
This week’s edition is themed on the Fortune Sprite variant. Epic’s in-game News tile, titled “Fortune Sprite Variants – November 7”, says: “Set sail for sparkling Sprites from 2-4 PM ET and 9-11 PM ET! Drop in with A$AP Rocky’s Shock Rocket and a Self Revive, and find more Fortune Sprite variants across the Island.” Here’s what each part does, according to Epic’s Treasure Hunters season notes:

Epic hasn’t said anything else about the event. Its posts don’t mention better chest loot, extra XP or any token or coin currency, so don’t expect those. They also don’t say which playlists get the starting loadout. Because the Shock Rocket is non-Competitive, Ranked matches probably won’t have it, but that’s our guess, not Epic’s word.
How to use Fortune Treasure Hours (our tips)
These come from Epic’s own item and Sprite descriptions. We haven’t played the event.
- Use the Shock Rocket to move. It gets you airborne, which helps you cross Crossbones Isle quickly while you hunt Fortune variants. Our best Treasure Hunters landing spots guide shows where to start.
- Open chests along the way. A Fortune variant reveals nearby Chests, so once you have one, chests become easier to find for the rest of the match.
- Hold on to the Self Revive. It’s the second life everyone gets at the start, so a risky fight over a Fortune Sprite costs you less.
- Play the 9-11 PM ET window if you also want Zoro. Zoro, Sanji and the Chopper Sidekick hit the Item Shop at 7 PM ET on November 7, according to the Treasure Hunters Shop schedule Epic shared (via VICE). That’s between the two windows. Our Fortnite Zoro skin guide has the details.
Captain’s Day: every Sunday
A Captain’s Day is the week’s big content drop: a new Captain sails in with new weapons, Sprites and map changes. The first one launched with the season on November 1. A$AP Rocky arrived as the Island’s first Boss, and Epic says he can drop his Shock Rocket and the Lil’ Flacko Sprite. Epic’s notes list the next three by date:

Epic gives the dates but not a start time for the Sunday drops. When it posts one, we’ll add it here. Some older coverage still lists November 7, 14 and 21 for Captain’s Day. That was the original plan. The November 4 @FortniteStatus post moved new Captains to Sundays, and Epic’s season notes now say November 8, 15 and 22.

Mastery Monday: every Monday from 9 AM ET
According to Epic’s season notes, “Mastery Monday is back – every Monday from 9 AM ET, earn 2x Sprite XP and 2x Sprite Dust all day long.” This season, Sprite Chests and Wanted Posters also “appear across the Island in bigger numbers.” Epic doesn’t give an end time beyond “all day long.” The next one is November 9.

Epic says the Gold Sprite variant, due November 21, makes you “gain bonus XP from eliminating opponents.” It hasn’t said whether it’s linked to that Saturday’s Treasure Hours.
