Switch 2 games in 2027 now start on January 7 and already run past April. In its November 6 results briefing, Nintendo gave a whole slide to third-party games, headlined “More third-party multiplatform titles coming to Nintendo on day one.” Final Fantasy VII Revelation, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, Resident Evil Veronica and FromSoftware’s The Duskbloods are on it. Below, every Switch 2 game with a 2027 date, checked against Nintendo’s US store and publisher pages on November 6.
- First dated 2027 game: Armatus, January 7, per Nintendo’s US store.
- Biggest dated third-party game: Final Fantasy VII Revelation, April 8, at $69.99. The Premium editions add 24-hour early access.
- Nintendo’s own 2027 games: Metroid Ravenous (Jan 28), Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity – Definitive Edition (Feb 25), Kirby and the World Beyond (spring), plus Pokémon Winds, Pokémon Waves and Xenoblade Genesis (2027).

Which third-party Switch 2 games did Nintendo highlight?
Slide 32 of the deck pictures 15 games. President Shuntaro Furukawa said in the notes that more demanding multiplatform games are now landing on Switch 2 “at the same time as other platforms.” He put that down to better hardware and closer ties with publishers. Here’s what’s on the slide:
- Coming in 2027: Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, Final Fantasy VII Revelation, Eternal Anima, Ninjala 2: The Uncharted Planet, Resident Evil Veronica, LEGO Skylines, Crazy Taxi: World Tour, The Duskbloods and Onyx: The Dark Grip.
- Still due in 2026: Professor Layton and the New World of Steam, which Level-5 dates for December 10, 2026.
- Also pictured: Madden NFL 27 (on Switch 2 since August 13, per Nintendo’s US store), NBA 2K27, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, Orbitals and Derby Stallion 2, the last shown with a Japanese logo.
The same deck also reaffirms Nintendo’s own lineup. The November 5 explanatory slides now list Kirby and the World Beyond for spring 2027, a tighter window than the plain “2027” still shown on its US store page. The split dates are early-access editions. Square Enix says FF7 Revelation’s Premium ($99.99) and Premium Plus ($109.99) editions give access 24 hours early. The PlayStation Blog lists 48-hour early access for Tomb Raider’s $69.99 Deluxe Edition, and Nintendo’s store shows that edition two days early on Switch 2 too. - May 2027: Haunted Paws, per Nintendo’s US store.
- 2027: Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves, Xenoblade Genesis, The Duskbloods (delayed out of 2026), Resident Evil Veronica and LEGO Skylines, per Nintendo. Bloober Team’s Onyx: The Dark Grip is a 2027 Switch 2 game, per Gematsu. Nintendo Life’s list puts Crazy Taxi: World Tour in 2027. Petit Planet’s Switch 2 version is also due in 2027.

Nintendo’s notes say release dates may differ by region and can change. Nintendo hasn’t said when Kirby, Pokémon Winds and Waves or Xenoblade Genesis will get exact dates.
