Fortnite Sprite Dust pays 2x through Oct 31: farm duplicates, redeem 32,000 dust in Lobby Hack codes, and spend it before Override ends on November 1.

The fastest way to get Fortnite Sprite Dust right now is to extract duplicate Sprites during the Final Spritemare, because Epic is paying 2x Sprite Dust every day through Saturday, October 31. Add the one-time Lobby Hack codes (32,000 dust with no strings attached) and you can fill a big balance in an evening. Just don’t save it: Override ends on November 1, and Epic wiped everyone’s Sprite Dust at the last season change.

Everything below was checked on October 30, 2026 at 07:50 UTC against Epic’s own update notes and community posts, plus dated guides from Beebom, Pocket Tactics, All Things How and TheClick.

Quick answer: Fortnite Sprite Dust at a glance

  • Best source: extract Sprites you already own. A new Sprite joins your collection, and a duplicate turns into Sprite Dust.
  • Boost this week: 2x Sprite Dust and 2x Sprite XP every day from 9 AM ET (13:00 UTC), October 27-31 (Epic).
  • Free dust codes: 10 Lobby Hack codes give 32,000 dust, and 3 more give 15,000 after story quests. Each works once per account.
  • Cap: 200,000 stored, according to Beebom and TheClick. Beebom adds that you can only carry 20,000 into a match.
  • Where it’s spent: summoning Sprites, Loot Hacks, and the Service Station at every Extraction Site (Portable Extractor 2,500, 20,000 XP for 1,000).
  • Deadline: spend it before the season ends on November 1. Epic hasn’t said yet whether this season’s dust carries over, but last time it didn’t.

How to get Sprite Dust fast in Fortnite

Sprite Dust has two real sources this season, and Epic names both. Its v42.00 update notes say Lobby Hack codes grant “XP and Sprite Dust”, and its in-game player survey lists “Earning Sprite Dust when I extract Sprites” as part of the Sprite system. Here’s the fastest order to farm it in the last two days:

  1. Redeem every dust code first (table below). It takes two minutes in the lobby and gives up to 32,000 dust before you drop.
  2. Play during the 2x window. Every Final Spritemare day starts at 9 AM ET / 13:00 UTC and runs until the next day’s 9 AM ET reset. Today, Friday October 30, Trick or Treat Sprites spawn more often. Saturday, October 31 is the finale, with boosted variants all day.
  3. Land near a quiet Extraction Site, not a hot POI. Beebom’s farming route uses landmarks with Cheat Codes and an Extraction Site close by, so you can get in and out fast.
  4. Free Sprites from Cheat Codes. Find a code sprayed on a wall, enter the arrow sequence, and it frees a Sprite. A Cheat Code Locator Gizmo points you to the nearest one.
  5. Extract everything, even duplicates. A Sprite you already own is pure dust once you extract it. Beebom says the amount depends on the Sprite’s rarity and variant. Epic doesn’t publish a payout table.
  6. Don’t die carrying them. If you’re eliminated first, the Sprites you’re carrying are lost, and so is the dust. Use a Portable Extractor if the site is contested. All Things How notes that winning the match also counts as extracting.

Each Final Spritemare day also has a login quest that gives a Lucky Locator, and Epic says 1-Up Tokens and Portable Extractors may drop from chests. Both make extractions safer. For every Sprite you can still find and its powers, see our full Fortnite Sprites list for Chapter 7 Season 4.

Sprite Dust codes (Lobby Hacks) that still work

“Sprite Dust codes” and “admin panel codes” are real, and they’re official: Epic added the Admin Panel to the Battle Royale lobby with Override. In the lobby, pick Battle Royale, open the Admin Panel button, and type the code. Capitalization doesn’t matter. These codes appear on Pocket Tactics’ list (updated October 24) and in our own full list of Fortnite admin panel codes. Checked October 30, 07:50 UTC.

Lobby Hack code Sprite Dust Requirement
DustInTheWind 5,000 None
WhereIsTheDustyTree 5,000 None
DustySprites 5,000 None
BlinkyInkyPinkyClyde 5,000 None
Abgestaubt 2,000 None
Chispambo 2,000 None
H0p0nVC 2,000 None (that’s a zero after the H)
Magilume 2,000 None
Perlimpinpin 2,000 None
PlayToLevelUp 2,000 None
runSystemOverride 5,000 Geno’s story quests, Part 2
ImTheRealEdgelord 5,000 Wrixel’s story quests, Part 2
YourThoughtsAreMine 5,000 All of Geno’s story quests

That’s 32,000 dust with no requirements and 47,000 if you’ve done the story quests. Each code works once per account, so if your counter doesn’t move, you’ve already used it.

What isn’t real: there’s no code for unlimited Sprite Dust, and no “Sprite Dust generator” or cheat website. Any site that asks for your Epic login in exchange for dust is a scam. Don’t confuse Lobby Hacks with Cheat Codes either. Cheat Codes are the arrow sequences you enter on walls during a match, and they free a Sprite. They don’t give dust directly.

What is the Sprite Dust cap?

Epic hasn’t published a cap, so these numbers come from guides that tracked it:

  • 200,000 stored. Beebom (v42.10 guide) and TheClick both give this number.
  • 20,000 per match. Beebom says that’s the most you can carry for the duration of a match.
  • History: TheClick reports that the cap was only 20,000 when Override launched and went up to 200,000 around August 26. All Things How says Season 3 players were sitting at a 250,000 cap before the wipe.

With two days left, the cap doesn’t really matter. Spending your dust does.

Where is the Service Station, and what does it sell?

The Service Station is the Sprite Dust terminal at each Extraction Site. It’s separate from the extraction panel you use to send Sprites home. Epic lists “Service Stations” as a feature in its in-game player survey, but it doesn’t publish prices. These are the Override prices from Beebom’s guide and All Things How:

Service Station item Sprite Dust cost Notes
Portable Extractor 2,500 One per day; resets at 9 AM ET / 13:00 UTC (All Things How)
20,000 XP 1,000 Cheapest Battle Pass boost on the list
Cheat Code Locator 1,500 Points you to the nearest Cheat Code
Weapon upgrade 1,500 (Rare) to 2,400 (Mythic) Beebom’s figures; check the terminal, since guides list different prices

Beebom notes that stock is limited. Season 3 guides list the Portable Extractor at 2,000, so check the date on any older guide.

What else Sprite Dust buys: summons and Loot Hacks

Summoning Sprites. In the lobby’s Sprites screen, you can spend dust to bring a Sprite you’ve already collected into your next match. Epic’s v42.00 notes say summoning rare Sprites and variants “now costs less Sprite Dust” than in Season 3, where a Mythic variant cost 10,000. Beebom’s Override costs:

Rarity Base Sprite Gold or Cheat Master variant
Rare 1,250 1,500
Epic 1,500 1,800
Legendary 1,750 2,100
Mythic 2,000 2,400

A Mastered Sprite costs half. The starter Sprites (Jonesy, Adventure and Bush) are exceptions, and Mega Man costs 1,750 even though it’s Rare. All Things How’s screenshot of the Crown Sprite (Mythic) shows the same 2,000 price.

Loot Hacks. In Epic’s words, you “spend Sprite Dust to hack loot in your match, customizing what drops”, and you can reset your Loot Hack setup at any time with dust. Hacked items can show up in chests you open, and nobody else gets them. According to Beebom, each upgrade level costs more than the last.

Does Sprite Dust reset when the season ends?

Probably, but Epic hasn’t confirmed it for this season yet. Here’s what’s official:

  • The season ends November 1, 2026 (Eastern Time), according to Epic’s Battle Pass page. Treasure Hunters takes over after that, and our Fortnite Treasure Hunters guide covers what Epic has shown so far.
  • Last time, dust was wiped. Before Override, Epic wrote: “your Gizmos and Sprite Dust will reset when the season ends while we roll out everything new next season” (Epic Communities). Override launched with everyone’s balance at zero.
  • Your Sprites stay. The same post kept every Season 3 Sprite in the Sprite Garden and on your Collection page, so anything you extract now isn’t wasted.
  • No v43.00 downtime notice yet. As of 07:50 UTC on October 30, Epic’s status page listed no Fortnite maintenance. Our Fortnite server status page will post the downtime once Epic does.

Whether Sprites even stay in Battle Royale for Treasure Hunters hasn’t been confirmed. Plan as if your dust and Gizmos disappear at the November 1 downtime.

How to spend Sprite Dust before November 1

  1. Buy the daily 20,000 XP (1,000 dust) today and tomorrow. The Battle Pass ends with the season, so this is the most lasting thing dust can buy. Our legit Fortnite XP map codes help close the gap.
  2. Buy the daily Portable Extractor (2,500) and use it on any Sprite or variant you’re missing. Your collection is the part that carries over.
  3. Summon your favorites without worrying about it. Losing a Mythic summon costs 2,000 dust that would be gone in two days anyway.
  4. Max out the Loot Hacks you enjoy for the last matches, then spend whatever’s left on Cheat Code Locators.
