The JJS Halloween event ends Nov 23 at 22:00 UTC. All 17 new emotes, 10 skins, candy prices, the fastest candy sources and how to get Hired Killer (Toji).

The Jujutsu Shenanigans Halloween update is live now and ends on Sunday, November 23, 2026 at 22:00 UTC (5 PM ET, 2 PM PT). It arrived on October 23 as version 1.84. The update swaps the map for a spooky Shibuya and brings back candy. You spend candy at a pumpkin-headed shopkeeper on a floating island, where 17 new Halloween emotes, 10 Halloween skins and a Broom are up for grabs. The same patch added Hired Killer, the Toji Fushiguro character. He’s Early Access only for now.

The dates come from the game’s official Roblox event listing, “HALLOWEEN UPDATE”, posted by Tze’s Shenanigans. The emote and skin pools come from the Jujutsu Shenanigans Wiki’s Events page. The patch notes come from Nerd’s Chalk’s copy of the V1.84 notes. Everything here was checked October 27, 2026 at 19:30 UTC, when about 120,000 people were playing the game, which Roblox now lists as “[HIRED KILLER] Jujutsu Shenanigans”.

Quick answer

  • Start: October 23, 2026, 21:30 UTC (update V1.84).
  • End: November 23, 2026, 22:00 UTC. That’s 5 PM EST, 2 PM PST, 10 PM in the UK, or 7 AM on November 24 in Japan.
  • Candy shop: go through the purple portal in the graveyard next to the brown haunted house. It takes you to a floating island, and the pumpkin-headed NPC there runs the shop (press E).
  • Prices: a random 2026 Halloween emote costs 100 candy, a random 2026 Halloween skin 100, the Broom 15, and a random 2025 Halloween emote 250.
  • Free bonus emote: your first purchase of anything in the Halloween shop also unlocks the Trick or Treat emote.
  • Hired Killer: he’s in the Early Access game pass (345 Robux). No free release date has been announced yet.
  • Codes: the V1.84 notes don’t include a Halloween code. RIA2026 still works, but trackers say it expires October 31.

When does the Jujutsu Shenanigans Halloween event end?

Tze’s Shenanigans set the Halloween listing to end on November 23, 2026 at 22:00 UTC. That gives you just over four weeks from the October 23 launch. US clocks go back on November 1, so the end time below is in standard time. The UK already switched to GMT on October 25.

Time zone Event started (Oct 23) Event ends
UTC Oct 23, 21:30 Nov 23, 22:00
US Eastern Oct 23, 5:30 PM EDT Nov 23, 5:00 PM EST
US Pacific Oct 23, 2:30 PM PDT Nov 23, 2:00 PM PST
UK Oct 23, 10:30 PM BST Nov 23, 10:00 PM GMT
Central Europe Oct 23, 11:30 PM CEST Nov 23, 11:00 PM CET
India Oct 24, 3:00 AM IST Nov 24, 3:30 AM IST
Japan Oct 24, 6:30 AM JST Nov 24, 7:00 AM JST

One thing to watch from last year: the Jujutsu Shenanigans Wiki says that when Halloween 2025 ended on November 8, 2025, leftover candy was converted into in-game cash on a sliding scale. Small balances got a better rate (1 candy = $1 up to 1,500 candy). The developer hasn’t said whether 2026 candy will be converted the same way, so plan to spend yours before November 23.

What to do first in the Halloween update

  1. Find the portal. Look for the brown haunted house and step into the fenced graveyard in its yard. The purple portal sits between bone arches and takes you to a floating island above the map. Nerd’s Chalk has a step-by-step route with screenshots.
  2. Buy the Broom first. At 15 candy it’s the cheapest item in the shop. Per the wiki, your first purchase of any kind also gives you the Trick or Treat emote, which lets other players gift you candy.
  3. Farm the server events. Pumpkin doors pay 15 candy each, and skeletons or runaway doors pay 20. Those beat grinding kills at 1 candy each (full table below).
  4. Do your daily quests. Each one pays 7.5 candy this year, up from 5 in 2025.
  5. Pick your pool. A new 2026 emote or skin costs 100. A returning 2025 emote costs 250, and Nerd’s Chalk reports the shop presents it as your last chance at last year’s set.
  6. Redeem RIA2026 now if you haven’t. It gives $100 and an emote, and it’s expected to expire on October 31.

How to get candy fast in Jujutsu Shenanigans

Every server runs a Halloween event, then starts the next one 30 seconds after it ends. According to the wiki, the event is one of two types, scaled to how many players are in the server:

  • Pumpkin Doors: five to seven indestructible wooden doors with carved pumpkins appear and block doorways, each with a 100-second timer. When the timer runs out, hold the prompt for 5 seconds to collect your candy. There’s a 12.5% chance something else happens instead. A skeleton with 50 HP might spawn and attack the nearest player, the door might fire a harmless orange “Hollow Orange” blast, or the door might grow legs and run away with 1 HP.
  • Pumpkin Hunt: up to three players get a pumpkin on their head and have to keep it for 60 seconds. While you’re carrying one you can’t run. If someone ragdolls you, the pumpkin moves to them. Everyone who wore it for at least a second gets candy.
Candy source Candy Notes
Kill a skeleton or a runaway door 20 The rare 12.5% door outcomes
Open a pumpkin door (or get hit first by its Hollow Orange) 15 Hold the prompt for 5 s after the 100 s timer
Complete a daily quest 7.5 each Up from 5 per quest in 2025
Win a Roulette minigame 7 Per win
Hold the pumpkin in Pumpkin Hunt 1 per second Up to 60 s per round
Kill a player 1 Per kill
Gifts via the Trick or Treat emote 5, 25, 50 or 100 Another player pays from their own candy
Robux packs (candy icon, bottom of the screen) 100 / 500 / 1,000 49 / 229 / 449 Robux

The Robux prices match the game’s public developer-product list, where the three candy packs were first created for Halloween 2025.

All Jujutsu Shenanigans Halloween emotes (2026)

A 2026 Halloween emote costs 100 candy and comes at random from a pool of 17. Here’s the full pool as listed on the Jujutsu Shenanigans Wiki:

# Emote # Emote
1 Brains… 10 Pyramid
2 Chainsaw Run 11 Shaggy
3 Don’t Be Afraid 12 Showtime
4 Happy Halloween 13 Skeleton
5 Head Spin 14 Spooky Disguise
6 I am a Human 15 The Ring
7 Jumpscared 16 Thriller2
8 Let Me Go 17 Zombie Goofy
9 Missing

The wiki has descriptions for a few of them so far. Pyramid marches you forward dragging the Great Knife, a nod to Silent Hill’s Pyramid Head. Don’t Be Afraid references a scene from the horror game Faith. Chainsaw Run is exactly what it sounds like, and Happy Halloween is a stationary dance. The rest were still being documented when we checked.

Because pulls are random, collecting all 17 costs at least 1,700 candy. It could cost more if duplicates are possible, and the wiki doesn’t say either way.

Returning 2025 Halloween emotes (250 candy)

Last year’s pool is back at a higher price: 250 candy per random pull from these 11 emotes: Skeleton Hands, Pumpkin Show, Spider, Spooky Month, Thriller, Slasher, Pumpkin Carve, Crow, Dark Zone, Spooky Skeleton and Sinister Laugh. Then there’s Trick or Treat, the 2025 bucket emote, which you get with your first purchase in the shop.

Jujutsu Shenanigans Halloween skins and the Broom

Halloween skins also cost 100 candy per random pull. Nerd’s Chalk notes they can only be obtained during Halloween. The wiki lists 10 skins:

  • Mahoraga: Pumpkin (hat)
  • Puppet Master (Absolute): Pumpkin (hat)
  • Kogane: Hockey Mask (face), Fangs (face), Pumpkin (hat), Axe (hat), Ghost (hat), Pirate Hat (hat), Witch (hat), Candy Bucket (neckwear)

You equip skins in your Inventory under “Skins”, where each character has its own tab. The Broom is a Halloween-exclusive item for 15 candy.

Hired Killer: how to get the Toji character

Hired Killer is based on Toji Fushiguro from Jujutsu Kaisen. The wiki counts him as the game’s 25th character and its 16th Early Access release. The only way to play him right now is the Early Access game pass, 345 Robux in the game’s store. According to Timesaver, the same pass gated Sky Assassin and Register before they went public. He isn’t finished yet: his awakening, Puppet of Carnage, only heals 50 HP and refreshes your cooldowns. Timesaver’s Hired Killer guide has more.

Will he go free? Recent history says Early Access characters do become public later, but no date has been set. Sky Assassin was Early Access in V1.82 and went public in V1.83. In this very update, the V1.84 notes say “REGISTER HAS BEEN RELEASED TO THE PUBLIC!” Treat any “free Toji date” you see on social media as a guess until the update notes say so.

Hired Killer moves and weapons

His special, Hidden Inventory (5-second cooldown), swaps between three cursed tools in a cycle: Split Soul Katana, then Inverted Spear of Heaven, then Chain of a Thousand Miles. Hold block while pressing the special to cycle backwards. Each tool changes your moves, M1s and front dash. His passive, Unrestricted, lets him walk through domain borders and ignore most sure-hit effects. In exchange, domain casters deal much more damage to him. Damage and cooldowns below are from the wiki’s V1.84 page and may change with balance patches.

Cursed tool Moves (damage, cooldown) Variants
Split Soul Katana Flourish (5, 15 s); Debilitate (13, 13 s). M1s become a 3-hit chain The Wrath, The Greed, The Pride
Inverted Spear of Heaven Transcend (12, 14 s); Rupture (14 with the QTE, 15 s) Ascend, Paradise, Reincarnation
Chain of a Thousand Miles Lasso (12, 16 s, 24-stud reach); Whiplash (5, 15 s) Twirling Strike

That’s 6 base moves and 7 variants, matching the V1.84 patch notes line for line. The variants come out of Flourish’s slow-motion hit: use Flourish again for The Wrath, the special for The Greed (switching you to the spear), or block for The Pride (switching you to the chain).

What else is in the V1.84 Halloween update

  • New map: “We travelled to a different city!” A Halloween Shibuya replaces Shinjuku, with darker buildings, character scarecrows, pumpkins and statues in the graveyard.
  • Register is public and gets two new awakening moves: Road Rage and 132-Square-Foot Two-Story House.
  • Shop: skins were added, plus two new items (C4 and RPG), a Final Dessert victory flash and 12 regular emotes: Cory, California Girls, I’m all ears, Ex Provocation2, Join us for a bite, Wildside, In My Mind, Malo Mart, Richard, Jumper, Hollow Bench and Victory Lap.
  • Kogane gets 7 new shenanigans and a playlist button, and can now reply to basic chat messages.
  • Combat: you no longer respawn automatically (a setting under Controls turns it back on). Ranked temporarily uses a flat map with no destruction.

Jujutsu Shenanigans Halloween codes

There’s no Halloween-specific code in the V1.84 patch notes or the event listing. The wiki says codes only come through the in-game update notes (the notebook icon) or the official Discord. Here’s what dated trackers list as of late October:

Code Reward Status (checked Oct 27, 2026 UTC)
RIA2026 $100 + RIA2026 emote Working. Added October 3. Timesaver says it expires October 31; the wiki says it runs for 28 days.
A7D2L26RNEPG74A3Q Nep achievement + Woven Insight emote Disputed. The wiki and Pocket Tactics (Oct 21) list it as active, while Timesaver lists it as expired.

Since V1.83, you redeem codes at the bottom of the main Shop rather than in a separate Codes tab. Codes are case-sensitive, so paste them exactly. Sources: Timesaver (Oct 21) and Pocket Tactics (Oct 21).

How many Halloween emotes are in Jujutsu Shenanigans?

17 new 2026 emotes at 100 candy each, all random pulls. There are also 11 returning 2025 emotes at 250 candy, plus the Trick or Treat emote, which you get with your first shop purchase.

Not yet. He’s part of the Early Access game pass (345 Robux). Early Access characters have gone public in later updates (Register did in this one), but there’s no date for Hired Killer.

Go to the graveyard next to the brown haunted house and enter the purple portal between the bone arches. The shopkeeper with the pumpkin head is on the floating island it takes you to.
