Prices: nobody announced a price during the show, and as of 14:35 UTC neither Nintendo nor the developers had posted one. That includes Sword of the Sea, which launches tomorrow. The order of games follows Nintendo Life’s live blog of the stream. The show ended on a montage of more games, and we’ll add any that Nintendo confirms.
Free demos you can play today
- Winds of Viridia (Switch 2): a free demo is “available later today”, according to Nintendo.
- Haunted Paws (Switch 2 and Switch): free demo later today. The trailer’s end card already says “Play demo now”.
- Petal Runner (Switch 2): the trailer says “demo available later today”.
- RACCOIN: Chaos Max Edition (Switch 2): demo and pre-orders open later today, according to Nintendo.
There was no shadow-drop this time. The closest thing is Sword of the Sea, which arrives on the eShop tomorrow.
Worth your time if…
Witchbrook: you want a Stardew-style life sim set at a magic college. The trailer shows study sessions, inventory crafting, a coastal town and a flying car, and Chucklefish’s dev blogs cover dating your classmates.
Winds of Viridia: you like exploring interlinked paths with a companion (here a mothbug). Try the demo first.
City of None: you loved Celeste. One of Celeste’s co-creators is behind this darker game about a crumbling metropolis where powerful Barons feast on lost souls.
Sword of the Sea: you liked Abzû or Journey and want a beautiful sand-and-sea surfing adventure. It’s out tomorrow.

Spirit Crossing, from the makers of Cozy Grove, launches November 16. Image: Spry Fox / Nintendo
Tenjutsu: you want a gritty combat roguelike from the designer of Dead Cells, with a renegade yakuza lead.
Threads of Time: you miss time-travel JRPGs. It’s a turn-based RPG that jumps between eras, from dinosaurs to the far future.
R.E.P.O.: your friend group loves online co-op horror. You loot valuables as “semibots” and try not to break them.
Super Battle Golf: you want golf with sabotage. It’s a multiplayer party game where anything goes to finish first.
Dumpster Gang: you want 1-4 player co-op chaos. You play a raccoon pulling off missions while an Exterminator hunts you.
Haunted Paws: you like cute-but-spooky games. Two puppies explore a haunted mansion. Good for Halloween week with the demo.
Kitsune: The Journey of Adashino: you like atmospheric Japanese folklore horror. You light the way across a mysterious island while escaping the oni.
Slime Rancher 2: you or your kids played the first one. It’s the sequel to the slime-ranching hit, now with a Switch 2 release date.
Spirit Crossing: you want a cozy multiplayer life sim to play with friends. You glide through cloud islands and help lost spirits. On consoles it’s exclusive to Nintendo’s systems (Spry Fox is also releasing it on PC).
My Arms Are Longer Now: you like silly heists. You play a long-armed thief in this game from Toot Games and Jackbox Games.
Petal Runner: you like pixel art and delivery games. It’s a solarpunk open world on a motorbike, and the demo is out today.
RACCOIN: Chaos Max Edition: you like Balatro-style combo chasing. It’s a roguelike deckbuilder built on a coin-pusher machine, where special coins and items trigger combos. Try the demo before the November 10 launch.
