Sony hasn’t announced any PS5 Black Friday 2026 deals yet. As of October 31, 2026 (07:31 UTC), the PlayStation Direct deals page says “There are currently no ongoing deals,” and the official PlayStation Black Friday page still says Black Friday 2025 is over. Black Friday 2026 is Friday, November 27. Until Sony posts its offers, this page lists what you’d pay today, what Sony offered last year, and when it usually announces.

The recommended prices come from Sony’s March 27, 2026 price change post, which raised all three consoles from April 2. That was the second US increase in under a year. In August 2025, Sony had set them at $549.99, $499.99 and $749.99. Last year’s Black Friday discounts were taken off those lower 2025 prices.
The only money-off offer on PlayStation Direct right now isn’t a sale. It’s a trade-in: through Back Market, Sony adds a $50 voucher toward a new PS5 or PS5 Pro when you trade in a PS4. The store bills this as “save up to $150,” but the final amount depends on what your PS4 is worth.
Choosing between disc and digital? Sony said on July 1 that it will stop producing discs for new PlayStation games from January 2028. Games already out on disc keep working.
When will Sony announce PS5 Black Friday deals?
Sony hasn’t given a date. In each of the last five years, the PlayStation Blog post went up in mid-to-late November:

That’s what Sony did before, not a promise for 2026. In Southeast Asia, Sony is already running its 11.11 Power Deals (October 30 to November 12), but they don’t apply in the US.

What Sony offered for Black Friday 2025
None of these offers has been confirmed for 2026. They’re here to show what Sony did last time. Sony’s November 18, 2025 post listed:
- Consoles: $100 off PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition “in select regions,” and $100 off PS5 Pro. There were also two Fortnite Flowering Chaos bundles at a recommended $399.99 (Digital Edition) and $449.99 (1TB disc model), each with exclusive cosmetics and 1,000 V-Bucks.
- Accessories: $100 off PS VR2, $30 off DualSense Edge and Pulse Explore, and $20 off PlayStation Portal, Pulse Elite, DualSense and the Access controller. Sony’s artwork dated these from November 21 to December 18, 2025, while supplies lasted.
- PlayStation Plus: up to 33% off a 12-month membership for new members, and 33% off upgrades to Premium/Deluxe. It ended December 5.
- PlayStation Store and Gear: up to 75% off PS5 and PS4 games, and 60% off sitewide at PlayStation Gear until December 1.

Retailer Black Friday dates for 2026
Retailers have announced their sale dates, but none of these announcements names a PS5 price:
- Best Buy (holiday calendar): DoorBOOsters from October 30, Early Black Friday deals from November 6 with new drops every Friday, and 10 days of Black Friday doorbusters from November 19.
- Walmart (announcement): Early Black Friday deals November 12-15, Black Friday deals November 23-29 (stores on November 27 at 6 a.m. local), and Cyber Monday November 30 to December 2. Online events start at 12:01 a.m. ET.
- Target (announcement): Early Black Friday deals November 5-7. Its main Black Friday dates aren’t out yet.
- Amazon (FAQ): confirms November 27 but hasn’t dated its Black Friday Week.

Black Friday is November 27, 2026. Sony hasn’t announced dates for its own deals. In 2025 they started on November 21, after a November 18 announcement.
Will the PS5 be cheaper on Black Friday 2026?
Sony hasn’t said. Last year it took $100 off all three consoles, with the PS5 and Digital Edition cuts limited to select regions. We’ll update this page when Sony posts its 2026 offers.
