The latest Sims 4 MCCC update is MC Command Center 2026.6.0, and it works with the current game. Deaderpool, who makes the mod, released it on October 25, 2026. His official download page says it has been “tested to be working with” all packs up to Royalty & Legacy and the October 27, 2026 patch: PC 1.129.39.1030 and Mac 1.129.39.1230. If you’re on an older MCCC, replace it with 2026.6.0. There’s no newer public version and no November patch from EA yet (checked November 1, 2026, 07:15 UTC).
This guide covers what changed in 2026.6.0, which MCCC version goes with which game version, how to update without losing your settings, and what to do when MCCC doesn’t show up or keeps showing Last Exception errors. It only uses Deaderpool’s own pages and EA’s patch notes.

Quick answer: Sims 4 MCCC update
- Latest version: MC Command Center 2026.6.0 and MC Woohoo 2026.6.0, released October 25, 2026.
- Works with patch 1.129? Yes. Deaderpool lists it as tested with PC 1.129.39.1030 / Mac 1.129.39.1230 (EA’s October 27 update).
- Where to download: only from deaderpool-mccc.com/downloads.html (or Deaderpool’s Patreon or support Discord). Skip copycat sites.
- How to update: delete the old MCCC .ts4script and .package files, keep mc_settings.cfg, then unzip the new files into a folder no more than one level inside Mods.
- Still not working? Turn mods and script mods back on in Game Options > Other. EA switches them off after every update.
- Last Exception pop-ups: these almost always come from another out-of-date mod or CC, not from MCCC. You can’t turn the warning off.
Is MCCC working after patch 1.129?
Yes, if you have 2026.6.0. EA’s October 27, 2026 update notes list PC version 1.129.39.1030, Mac 1.129.39.1230 and console version 2.40. Deaderpool’s download page and his troubleshooting page both name those exact PC and Mac builds as tested. His compatibility note adds that the mod “will also work with anything after that Sims 4 update unless otherwise specified on Tumblr/Patreon posts I make after the update”. In other words, no new post from Deaderpool means no known problem.
As of November 1, his Tumblr release post for 2026.6.0 was still his latest, with no hotfix notice. On the community side, MCCC didn’t appear among the Broken, Updated or Obsolete mods in the SimsVIP patch 1.129 mod list kept by Scarlet (community list, checked November 1). For the other mods that did change with this patch, see our Sims 4 broken mods list for patch 1.129.
MCCC is a PC and Mac mod. Deaderpool’s compatibility notes only cover the PC and Mac builds, and the PlayStation and Xbox versions of The Sims 4 don’t run script mods.
MCCC latest version and which game patch it needs
Deaderpool keeps at least three versions on the download page (his FAQ says so), plus a Legacy Edition build. Match the MCCC version to the game version in GameVersion.txt in your Sims 4 folder. If your game is up to date, you need the newest one.
| MCCC version | Released (Deaderpool’s Tumblr) | Tested with game patch | Use it if |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2026.6.0 (latest) | October 25, 2026 | October 27, 2026: PC 1.129.39.1030 / Mac 1.129.39.1230 | Your game is up to date |
| 2026.5.0 | August 30, 2026 | September 22, 2026: PC 1.128.90.1030 / Mac 1.128.90.1230 | You haven’t installed the October patch |
| 2026.4.0 | June 28, 2026 | August 25, 2026: PC 1.127.41.1030 / Mac 1.127.41.1230 | You’re still on the August patch |
| 6.6.0 (Legacy Edition) | November 11, 2019 | October 3, 2019: PC 1.56.52.1020 / Mac 1.56.52.1220 | You play the old 32-bit Legacy Edition only |
Each MC Woohoo zip has the same number as its MCCC version and needs the matching MCCC to work. Deaderpool’s FAQ also says the mod doesn’t support pirated copies of the game. Versions older than the ones listed aren’t supported, because EA’s patches fix bugs that people often blame on mods.
What’s new in MCCC 2026.6.0
From the official 2026.6.0 change log:
- Flag to Never Move (MCCC > Sim Flags > MC Population). MCCC won’t move a flagged Sim through single moves, retirement moves, marriages or romance changes. It doesn’t apply to active Sims. Flagged Sims may get skipped for random marriages.
- Move Single Sims (MC Population > Moving Settings) is now a choice. You can leave single Sims alone, move them into open lots, or move them into a new homeless household. If you had it switched on before, it carries over as “Move Into Open Lot”.
- Freeze University flag now shows on every Sim from Child up, for players who use mods that let teens or children enrol.
- Hide Fairy Wings (MC Occult > Fairies). Fairies arrive on a lot with their wings hidden. This doesn’t apply to your active Sim.
- Bill auto-pay fix: it no longer charges twice if your Sims are off the lot when bills run at 5:00 AM on Monday.
- Import Sim Name gets a “Keep Last Name” option for duplicate tray imports.
- Fixes for the random-marriage Manual Confirmation and Manually Rename Spouses dialogs when both are on. Fairy names can now be picked in Population logging.
Deaderpool also explains why one reported bug stays: with a human Maximum Offspring set lower than the pet one, Offspring Percent settings may not save. The game only has one set of offspring percentages, so for now he’s keeping the separate pet setting.

How to update MCCC (without losing your settings)
These steps follow Deaderpool’s installation page and FAQ:
- Update the game first. Let the EA app or Steam install the October 27 patch. Check that GameVersion.txt shows 1.129.39.
- Download the All Modules zip for 2026.6.0 from the official download page. The release link goes to Google Drive, and the “Mirror” link next to it is Deaderpool’s own MediaFire copy. Get the MC Woohoo 2026.6.0 zip too if you use it.
- Delete the old MCCC files. Open DocumentsElectronic ArtsThe Sims 4ModsMCCC (or wherever you keep it) and remove every mc_*.ts4script and mc_*.package file.
- Keep the .cfg files. Leave mc_settings.cfg, mc_tuner.cfg and mc_dresser.cfg where they are. The new version upgrades them, so every setting carries over. If you delete them, you’ll have to set everything up again.
- Unzip everything into one folder. Extract all the files (MC Woohoo too) into the same folder. mc_cmd_center.ts4script is required. The other modules are optional, but they must all be the same version as mc_cmd_center.
- One level deep only. “The Sims 4ModsMCCC” works. “The Sims 4ModsScript ModsMCCC” doesn’t, because the game only looks one folder deep for script mods.
- Clear the cache. Deaderpool’s Discord support team suggests deleting localthumbcache.package in the Sims 4 folder whenever you change your Mods folder. The game rebuilds it.
- Re-enable mods. In Game Options > Other, tick both “Enable Custom Content and Mods” and “Script Mods Allowed”, then restart the game. EA turns these off after every update.
When a save loads, MCCC shows a welcome notice with its version number and the modules it found. If it says 2026.6.0 and lists every module you installed, the update worked. The MCCC menu is on any computer, or on a Sim when you click them.
If you were on a Patreon pre-release, switch to the public 2026.6.0 now. Deaderpool’s FAQ says the public release is always the most complete build. The CurseForge copy comes at least a week after the public release, so the download page is the first place to check.
MCCC not working after the update: fixes
Deaderpool’s troubleshooting page goes through these checks in order:
| What you see | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| MCCC not listed under Game Options > Other > Custom Content | Wrong folder depth, or a bad Resource.cfg | Move the MCCC files straight into Mods. If that fixes it, delete Resource.cfg in Mods and the game makes a new one. |
| Listed, but no MCCC menu on Sims or computers | MCCC version doesn’t match your game version | Install 2026.6.0 and remove every older MCCC file |
| No welcome notice, or modules missing from it | Mods switched off, or mixed module versions | Tick both mod boxes in Game Options > Other, then reinstall all modules from one zip |
| “PermissionError: [Errno 13]” with OneDrive in the path | OneDrive syncing the Mods folder | Stop OneDrive syncing that folder, or keep Sims 4 on a local drive |
| Can’t tell if it’s running | No log yet | Turn on MCCC > MCCC Settings > Notification / Console / Menu Settings > Notification Settings > Message Logging. mc_cmd_center.log should start with “Initializing MC Command Center version”. |
Deaderpool’s list of mods known to conflict includes sachamagne’s Autosave, Neia’s “No More Same Sims Everywhere”, ArtURLWWW’s Pregnancy Mega Mod, the “Sticky Clothes” mod, kylebeans’ Cowplant Tweaks, the InTeen mod and TwistedMexi’s Always Testingcheats. Candyd’s “Woohoo is Exercise” conflicts with MC Woohoo. Most of these copy features MCCC already has, so remove them.
MCCC Last Exception error
MCCC shows a notice whenever the game logs a Last Exception. Deaderpool says the errors “are rarely caused by MCCC itself”. MCCC only reports what the game writes to LastException.txt in your Sims 4 folder. Out-of-date mods or custom content cause most of them. If one happens while the game loads, other broken mods can stop MCCC from loading at all. The notice can’t be turned off. The FAQ says that’s deliberate, so players fix the content instead of hiding the warning.
- Move every mod and CC file except MCCC into a folder outside The Sims 4, and put MCCC directly in Mods.
- Load the game. If the error is gone, the problem is in the files you moved out.
- Put half of them back and test again. Keep halving the group that brings the error back until you find the file (the 50/50 method).
- Update or delete that file. Mod conflict detectors won’t help here. Deaderpool points out that they look for two mods editing the same resource, not for out-of-date files.
- Still stuck? Take LastException.txt (the one without a number) to the #error_support channel on Deaderpool’s support Discord, which is linked from his site.

Virus warning when downloading MCCC
Deaderpool’s FAQ calls these false positives. The zips hold .ts4script files, which are Python scripts the game reads, not programs that run on your PC. Some scanners and browsers block whole file hosts instead of checking the file. If your browser blocks the download, the FAQ suggests his Patreon download link, which doesn’t trigger these warnings (MC Woohoo isn’t posted there). It only applies to the official links. A copy of MCCC from any other site is a real risk.
When is the next MCCC update?
Deaderpool doesn’t announce dates. His FAQ says a public release ships when the planned features are finished and tested. It goes through Patreon pre-releases and a release candidate (for translations) before the public version. If an EA patch breaks MCCC, he says he posts a notice and ships a hotfix, without waiting for the next full release. MCCC also has a Version Update Notifications setting that checks for new versions, but the FAQ warns it can fail on some networks with a DNS error.
EA hasn’t announced the November 2026 update yet. Recent patches have come about once a month, with a “Laundry List” preview roughly a week before (the last one was October 20). When it lands, check the compatibility line on the download page before you play. For what the October patch changed, see our Sims 4 October 2026 update patch notes.

Is MCCC updated for the October 2026 Sims 4 update?
Yes. Deaderpool lists 2026.6.0 as tested with the October 27 patch, PC 1.129.39.1030 and Mac 1.129.39.1230. Version 2026.5.0 was only tested up to the September 22 patch.
Do I lose my MCCC settings when I update?
No, as long as you keep mc_settings.cfg (and mc_tuner.cfg / mc_dresser.cfg if you have them) in the folder. Only delete the old .ts4script and .package files.
Why is MCCC not showing up in my game?
Usually mods were switched off by the update, the files sit two folders deep, or an old version is mixed in. Turn on both mod boxes in Game Options > Other, move MCCC to ModsMCCC and reinstall all modules from the 2026.6.0 zip.
Where do I download MCCC safely?
From Deaderpool’s own site, deaderpool-mccc.com/downloads.html, or from his Patreon page or support Discord. Deaderpool’s team has warned about knock-off sites offering MCCC, so don’t use them.
