As of November 5, 2026, there is no Sims 4 Black Friday sale yet. EA hasn’t announced dates, and every expansion, game and stuff pack is full price on the EA app/ea.com, Steam and the PlayStation Store. The one Sims 4 discount we found is on Xbox: Royalty & Legacy is $29.99 instead of $39.99 until November 6. Below are the dates each store has posted so far, today’s prices, and how to check which packs you already own before you buy.
- EA app / ea.com: no Black Friday date announced. No pack has a sale price. You can still use EA’s standing discounts: Stack & Save (10% to 40% off when you buy 2 or more eligible packs) and 10% off with EA Play.
- Steam: no 2026 date yet. All 114 priced Sims 4 add-ons are full price. Valve’s Black Friday offers ran November 24 to December 1 last year.
- PlayStation Store: Sony’s Black Friday sale is live (November 4-30), but no Sims 4 item is on Sony’s list. New titles join on November 16.
- Xbox / Microsoft Store: Royalty & Legacy is 25% off until November 6, 09:59 UTC. Microsoft’s own Black Friday sale runs November 19-28.
- Black Friday itself is Friday, November 27, 2026.
All prices are US prices, checked November 5, 2026, between 11:01 and 11:05 UTC.

When does the Sims 4 Black Friday sale start in 2026?
EA hasn’t said. When we checked at 11:07 UTC, the official Sims 4 news page had no sale post (the newest item was the October 27 update), and neither EA’s main news page nor the Sims franchise news page mentioned Black Friday. Here’s what each store has confirmed:
| Store | Black Friday 2026 dates | Sims 4 deals right now |
|---|---|---|
| EA app / ea.com (PC, Mac) | Not announced | None. Stack & Save and EA Play discounts only |
| Steam | Not announced (Valve: “specific dates and details to come”) | None |
| PlayStation Store | November 4-30 (refresh November 16) | None; Sims 4 isn’t on Sony’s list |
| Xbox / Microsoft Store | November 19-28 (Microsoft Store sale) | Royalty & Legacy $29.99 until November 6 |
Steam doesn’t hold a store-wide Black Friday sale. In a July 15 post to developers, Valve said it will send November traffic to games running Black Friday discounts through its Special Offers hub, with “specific dates and details to come.” In 2025 those offers ran from November 24 to December 1, per Valve’s 2025 Steamworks post. Valve’s announcements up to November 4 still give no 2026 dates. Publishers set their own Steam discounts, so a Sims 4 sale there depends on EA. Our Steam Black Friday explainer covers how those offers work.
Sony’s PlayStation Blog post says the Black Friday promotion began November 4 at 00:00 PST/GMT/JST, refreshes on November 16 (“new titles join November 16”), and ends November 30 at 23:59. Neither The Sims 4 nor any of its packs is on the post’s title list, so a PS5 or PS4 Sims deal could only arrive with the November 16 refresh, and Sony hasn’t said one will. Our PS Store Black Friday deals list has the games that are discounted.
For Xbox, the FAQ on the Microsoft Store deals page says: “The Microsoft Black Friday sale for 2026 runs from November 19th to November 28th.” It names no games yet. Every store’s dates are tracked on our Black Friday 2026 gaming deals hub.

What’s discounted right now
Only one Sims 4 item: the Royalty & Legacy Expansion Pack on the Xbox store, $29.99 instead of $39.99 (25% off). The listing says the price ends November 6 at 09:59 UTC (1:59 a.m. PST). This price is for everyone, not just Game Pass or EA Play members. The other 24 Sims 4 items on the Xbox Sims 4 page were full price.
Nothing else is on sale:
- EA web store: we read all 116 Sims 4 items on the all-packs page, and none had a sale price for non-members.
- Steam: the store data for The Sims 4 (app 1222670) lists 115 add-ons, and all 114 that have a price showed 0% off.
- PlayStation Store: the 43 add-ons and bundles linked from the PS Store Sims 4 page were all full price.
Sims 4 pack prices on every store (US)
These are the full prices to compare against when a sale starts. The base game is free on all four stores.
| Pack type | EA app / ea.com | Steam | PS Store | Xbox |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Expansion Packs | $39.99 (21 packs) | $39.99 (21) | $39.99 | $39.99 (Royalty & Legacy $29.99 to Nov 6) |
| Game Packs | $19.99 (12 packs) | $19.99 (11) | $19.99 | $19.99 |
| Stuff Packs | $9.99 (20 packs) | $9.99 | $9.99 | $9.99 |
| Kits | $3.99-$6.99 (most $4.99) | $3.99-$6.99 (58 at $4.99) | – | $3.99 (Mean Girls Capsule Kit, the only kit on the page) |
| Bundles | – | – | $49.99; Love & Family $59.99 | Cats and Dogs + My First Pet Stuff $39.99 |
| EA Play member price | 10% off | – | 10% off (e.g. expansions $35.99) | – |
Checked November 5, 2026: EA store 11:01 UTC, Steam 11:03, Xbox 11:03, PS Store 11:05. A dash means we didn’t find that item type listed on that store’s pages.
The PS Store gives a 10% EA Play price on most packs (Spa Day showed none). EA’s Sims 4 page lists EA Play at $5.99 a month and EA Play Pro at $16.99, and both include “10% off EA digital purchases.” Paying for EA Play only to save $4 on one expansion doesn’t add up. It can be worth it for a large order, but compare it with Stack & Save first.
Stack & Save: EA’s discount that’s always on
On PC and Mac, EA’s Stack & Save page lowers the price the more eligible packs you add to your cart. The tiers listed on that page today:
| Eligible packs in cart | Discount |
|---|---|
| 2 | 10% |
| 3 | 20% |
| 4 | 25% |
| 5-24 | 30% |
| 25 or more | 40% |
The page lists 50 eligible packs: 18 Expansion Packs, all 12 Game Packs and all 20 Stuff Packs. EA's help article "How do Stack & Save discounts work?" sets out which pack types count, whether it combines with sales or EA Play, and where you can use it, so check it before you build a cart. The eligible packs are the ones listed on EA's Stack & Save page.
What that means for Black Friday: five eligible Game Packs ($99.95 at full price) already get 30% off, about $30 saved. A sale only helps you if it beats your Stack & Save tier. Last year’s sale did on older expansions (see below).

What the Sims 4 Black Friday sale looked like last year
EA’s 2025 discounts, as reported by Sims Community. They’re a guide to what to expect, not a promise:
- Black Friday 2025 (Sims Community, November 21, 2025): up to 60% off older Expansion Packs, while the newest expansion at the time, Adventure Awaits, wasn’t discounted. There was 30% off every Game Pack and every Stuff Pack, bundles were discounted, and The Sims 3 packs were 50% off.
- Holiday Sale 2025 (Sims Community, December 18, 2025): 20% off Enchanted by Nature, 30% off Businesses & Hobbies, 40% off Life & Death, up to 50% off the packs from Lovestruck back to Cottage Living, and 60% off Eco Lifestyle back to Get to Work. Game and Stuff Packs were 30% off. It ran on the EA app, Steam and Epic until January 5, 2026, 10 a.m. Pacific.
If 2026 follows that pattern, the older expansions get the deepest cuts, the newest one (Royalty & Legacy) gets little or nothing, and Game and Stuff Packs land near the 30% you can already get from Stack & Save. That’s our reading of last year’s sale, not an EA announcement.
How to check which Sims 4 packs you own
Check this before you buy, so you don’t pay for a pack you already have on another account or platform.
EA app (PC and Mac, including Steam copies)
- Open the EA app and go to Library.
- Select The Sims 4, then Manage > Manage add-ons.
- Installed packs appear under Installed add-ons & in-game content. Packs you own that aren’t installed appear under Owned add-ons, with a download icon.
These steps are from EA’s help article “How to install and manage Packs in The Sims 4”. Steam’s Sims 4 listing says you need the EA app and a linked EA account to play, so Steam purchases show up there too. If a pack you bought is missing, check that you’re signed in to the right EA account. EA community moderators suggest checking the Order History on your ea.com profile.
Inside the game (all platforms)
From the main menu, open the Marketplace and go to My Collection > Manage Storage. Packs you own are listed there. If a pack is installed, its tile has a green Active label in the bottom-left corner. Our Sims 4 Marketplace and Maker Packs guide explains the rest of that menu.
PlayStation and Xbox
- PlayStation: go to Library > Purchased > The Sims 4, open the game’s collection, and look under Add-Ons. Packs you own have a download arrow if they aren’t installed yet.
- Xbox: open the guide, go to the full library’s owned games, select The Sims 4 and choose Manage game & add-ons.
These are summarized from EA’s console help page. EA notes that PS5 menus can differ and points to PlayStation support for those.

Is there a Sims 4 Black Friday promo code?
EA hasn’t posted one. The only official discounts on its store today are Stack & Save and the EA Play member price. Be careful with sites that offer “all DLC free” unlockers or cracked packs. That’s piracy, not a deal, and we don’t link to it. The free ways to add to your game are the official ones: the free base game, free patch content and Simstober-style events. Our Sims 4 cheats list and aging cheats guide cost nothing at all.
FAQ
When does the Sims 4 Black Friday sale end?
We don’t know yet, because EA hasn’t announced the sale. Last year’s discounts rolled into a Holiday Sale that ran until January 5, 2026, according to Sims Community. Sony’s PS Store promotion ends November 30 at 23:59, but The Sims 4 isn’t on its list so far.
Is Royalty & Legacy on sale for Black Friday?
Only on Xbox, where it’s $29.99 until November 6 at 09:59 UTC. On the EA app, Steam and PS Store it’s $39.99, and it isn’t eligible for Stack & Save.
Should I buy Sims 4 packs now or wait for Black Friday?
For Game and Stuff Packs on PC, Stack & Save already gives 30% off five or more. Last year’s Black Friday discount on those packs was also 30%, so waiting may not save you anything. For older Expansion Packs, last year’s sale went up to 60% off, which beats Stack & Save’s 30-40%, so it’s worth waiting until EA posts its dates.
Is The Sims 4 base game free?
Yes. It’s free on the EA app, Steam, PlayStation and Xbox. You only pay for packs, kits and Moola.
