Diamond and Golden Egg win over nearly everyone. Loved gifts, dislikes, birthdays and date activities for all 23 romanceable villagers in Moonlight Peaks.

The quickest way to win anyone over in Moonlight Peaks is a Diamond or a Golden Egg, which almost the whole town loves. The cheaper everyday option is flowers in each villager’s favourite colour. Below are the loved gifts for all 23 romanceable characters, the gifts to keep in your pocket, each birthday, and the date activity each one invites you to.

The data comes from the community Moonlight Peaks Wiki character pages (last edited between September 19 and October 19, 2026). We checked them against Pocket Tactics’ gift chart, and we flag the places where the two disagree. The game is out on PC, Switch, Switch 2 and Android, and the PS5 version arrives November 17, 2026 with the same content, so this list applies on every platform.

Quick answer: Moonlight Peaks gifts everyone loves

  • Universal loves: Diamond and Golden Egg. A Diamond does nothing special for Brook, Death or Pumpkin Head. The Golden Egg is only a neutral gift for the vampires Elvira, Evan, Mina, Orlock and Samael, and for Brook, Death and Pumpkin Head. Sabrina only likes it.
  • Safe everyday gifts: flowers, flowerpots, clothing and Custom Embroidery, which most villagers like.
  • Never give: trash, seeds, fish, critters, fences, paths or bushes. The two exceptions to know are Death, who loves trash, and Noel, who likes fish.
  • Best value: grow each person’s flower colour. Pink suits Kim, Tae, Mina and Llemi; blue suits Ridge and Winston; purple suits Sabrina; yellow suits Rei and Jada; black suits Alina, Ludo and Evan; and Moonlight Flowers suit Alina, Aras, Dragan and Saga.

How gifting works in Moonlight Peaks

Each villager’s info card has daily to-do icons for a gift, a chat and affection. That makes a gift and a conversation every night the steady way to earn hearts. According to the wiki’s Friendship page, relationships move through these stages: Acquaintance, Friend, Dating, Partner, Fiancé and Spouse. Each new heart level unlocks more dialogue and story scenes, and many villagers give you recipes and blueprints as you grow closer.

When the heart level is high enough, an Invite option appears in conversation. Your date then waits outside your house the next morning to play their date mini-game. After a character’s eighth-heart scene, a Propose option appears at the end of your next date. Two things are worth knowing before you commit:

  • Marriage locks everyone else at 4 hearts. If you want to see every character’s heart events, see them before the wedding.
  • Romance needs upkeep. Friendship itself doesn’t decay, but a partner you ignore will eventually break up with you or divorce you. Llemi handles break-ups and divorces, and also officiates every wedding.

Moonlight Peaks loved gifts for every romanceable character

“Universal” in the table means Diamond and Golden Egg also work for that character. The Avoid column lists their personal dislikes, on top of the town-wide ones above.

Death (deity) Not listed Black Azalea, any trash (Rusty Soda Can, Old Shoe and more) Charcoal, Fiber, Heart Stone Marshmallow roasting

Where the sources differ, the table follows the wiki. Pocket Tactics adds a few extra loves: Cappuccino and Ginger Tea for Persephone, white flowers and Chocolate Cupcake for Kim, Lollipop and Lemon Cupcake for Rei, and Gold Bar, Moon Crystal and Rose Quartz for Llemi. Those are worth trying once if you have them spare. One real conflict: the wiki lists Honey as a dislike for Ridge, while Pocket Tactics lists it as a like, so the safe choice is to give him something else.

Cheap gifts you can farm for everyone

Diamonds and Golden Eggs are too rare to hand out every night, so the efficient approach is to farm by colour. Here are the cheap gift groups worth growing or crafting:

  • Flowers by colour: roses, tulips, azaleas and plumerias come in several colours, and the wiki groups flowerpots by colour as well. One bed each of pink, blue, yellow and black flowers covers most of the cast.
  • Moonlight Flowers (blue and purple): loved by all three Khazan seers (Alina, Aras and Dragan) and by Saga.
  • Mana items: mana drinks, jams and dishes are the easy route to three of the witches: Fiona, Noel and Sabrina.
  • Kitchen gifts for the werewolves: Ludo wants breakfast food and pizza, while Ridge wants Beer, Hamburgers and stews.
  • Hats: several romances have one signature hat. Elvira’s is the Serious Hat, Evan’s the Flat Cap, Mina’s the Stylish Hat, Ludo’s the Yabbucket Hat, Ridge’s the Ushanka Hat and Winston’s the Drippy Hat. The Yabbucket Hat is sold at Snek’s stall in the Midnight Market.

Gifts for other villagers (not romanceable)

Villager Loved gifts Avoid
Brook Logan (werewolf, Summer 21) White Rose, Top Hat Sugar and sweets, including Strawberry Milkshake
Pumpkin Head (Autumn 10) Honey (Pocket Tactics adds Bamboo Hat, Pumpkin Beanie and Brickle) Pumpkin
Moon Goddess Moonlight Flowers, Moonfruit, Moon Juice (per Pocket Tactics) Seeds, clams, insects
Sun God Yellow flowers, Gold Bar (per Pocket Tactics) Sunburst

These villagers matter for the Social Butterfly achievement, which asks for 4 hearts with every NPC.

Moonlight Peaks romance options: who you can marry

The wiki lists 23 dateable characters, close to the “two dozen romanceable characters” promised on the Steam store page. By family, they are:

  • Ambrosia vampires: Elvira, Evan, Mina, Orlock, Samael
  • Logan werewolves: Ludo, Ridge, Saga
  • Witches: Fiona, Noel, Sabrina and Luna
  • Khazan seers: Alina, Aras, Dragan
  • Henderson humans: Jada, Persephone, Winston
  • Hosu mermaids: Kim, Rei, Tae
  • Deities: Llemi and Death

Two of them have extra conditions, according to the wiki’s Marriage page. To marry Death, you must first unlock the Museum, and a cutscene then plays in town the night before his birthday. To propose to Ridge, the town bench has to be repaired. Before Ridge’s autumn birthday, Ludo posts a job asking for 5 Wood, and the bench is fixed on the birthday itself.

FAQ

What is the best gift in Moonlight Peaks?

Diamond. Every romanceable character except Death loves it, and only Brook, Death and Pumpkin Head treat it as neutral. The Golden Egg is the second universal love, but it does little for the Ambrosia vampires.

Can you romance Death in Moonlight Peaks?

Yes. Death is dateable and loves Black Azalea and trash. Marrying him requires the Museum to be unlocked first.

Can you date more than one person?

Yes, but it has a cost. When you take a partner to the “Dinner with the Parents” quest, the others you’re dating drop to 4 hearts. Marrying someone also ends your other romances.

Is Moonlight Peaks on PS5?

Not yet. The PS5 version launches November 17, 2026 at $34.99 and is identical to the PC, Switch, Switch 2 and Android versions, so every gift in this guide applies there too.
