Looking for Pokémon Legends Z-A Mystery Gift codes? The newest gift doesn’t need one. Pick Get via Internet in the Mystery Gift menu and you get a free Spewpa that evolves into one of 16 random Vivillon patterns, and each evolution adds points to the worldwide Vivillon Challenge. The Pokémon Company says you can claim it until November 19, 2026 at 01:59 UTC (November 18 at 5:59 p.m. PST). The only shared code still listed as working is PREPAR1NG, which gives an item set.
Quick answer (checked October 29, 2026, 23:00 UTC):
- Spewpa gift: no code. Main menu (X) > Link Play > Mystery Gift > Get via Internet. Claim it by Nov 19, 01:59 UTC, once per save file.
- Working shared code: PREPAR1NG gives 5 Max Revives, 10 Full Restores and 10 Ultra Balls. Serebii lists it as valid until March 31, 2027.
- Vivillon Challenge: if players worldwide reach 660,000 Vivillon Points, everyone gets a Poké Ball Pattern Vivillon. The challenge has no end date, and the reward date will be announced separately.
- Requirements: an internet connection and a Nintendo Account. You don’t need Nintendo Switch Online. Mystery Gift unlocks after about an hour of play.
- Expired: B1G0006 (Alpha Charizard) ended on January 19, 2026, and the early-purchase Ralts with Gardevoirite ended on February 28, 2026.

Pokémon Legends Z-A Mystery Gift codes and gifts (October 2026)
Z-A hands out gifts in two ways: shared codes that anyone can type in (Get with Code/Password), and code-free downloads (Get via Internet). This table covers both, using The Pokémon Company’s announcement for the Spewpa and Serebii’s internet event and serial code records for the rest.
| Gift | How to get it | Code | Status (Oct 29, 2026) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Spewpa (16 random Vivillon patterns) | Get via Internet | None needed | Live until Nov 19, 2026, 01:59 UTC |
| 5 Max Revive, 10 Full Restore, 10 Ultra Ball | Get with Code/Password | PREPAR1NG | Live until Mar 31, 2027 (per Serebii) |
| Mega Garchomp Z portal (Garchompite Z) | Get via Internet; needs the Mega Dimension DLC | None needed | Ongoing since Feb 27, 2026; no end date listed |
| Mewtwonite X and Y (Project M side mission) | Get via Internet | None needed | Ongoing since Dec 2, 2025; no end date listed |
| Diancite (Shine Bright like a Gemstone side mission) | Get via Internet | None needed | Ongoing since Nov 6, 2025; no end date listed |
| Alpha Charizard (Lv. 36) | Get with Code/Password | B1G0006 | Expired Jan 19, 2026 |
| Ralts holding Gardevoirite | Early-purchase bonus | None | Expired Feb 28, 2026 |
Some codes were single-use and only went out at events or with purchases, so a list can’t give them to you. Examples: the World Championships Greninja (San Francisco, August 28-30, 2026), the Pokémon Center birthday Audino (Japan, Taiwan and Singapore), and retailer pre-order bonuses such as the Trench Coat outfit and 100 Poké Balls. Treat any “shiny trade code” you see on social media as a community link code for online trades, not an official gift.

How to claim the Spewpa Mystery Gift
These steps come from The Pokémon Company’s own instructions:
- Press X to open the main menu and choose Link Play.
- Select Mystery Gift.
- Choose Get via Internet. The console has to be online.
- Pick the Spewpa Gift when it appears, then save your game.
The gift works on the digital or physical Pokémon Legends: Z-A and on Pokémon Legends: Z-A Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. You can claim it once per save file. Your system profile must be linked to a Nintendo Account, but you don’t need a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership.
Mystery Gift isn’t in the menu?
The official Vivillon Challenge site says Mystery Gift sits inside Link Play, and it only appears after you unlock the Rewards feature in Mable’s Research. That takes about an hour of play from a new save. If Link Play still won’t connect, check that your Switch or Switch 2 is online and that your user profile is linked to a Nintendo Account.
Spewpa gift details: level, moves and possible Vivillon patterns
Serebii’s record of the distribution shows a Level 11 Spewpa with your own name as Original Trainer. Spewpa evolves at Level 12, so one level-up is enough to get your Vivillon.
| Detail | Spewpa gift |
|---|---|
| Level | 11 (evolves into Vivillon at 12) |
| Moves | Tackle, String Shot, Protect, Stun Spore |
| Original Trainer / ID | Yours |
| Nature | Random |
| Held item | None |
| Vivillon pattern | 1 of 16, chosen at random |
The 16 possible patterns, per Serebii (which says each has an equal chance):
- Icy Snow, Polar, Tundra, Continental
- Elegant, Modern, Archipelago, High Plains
- Sandstorm, River, Monsoon, Savanna
- Sun, Ocean, Jungle, Fancy
The official collection page shows 20 patterns in total. Four are not in the gift pool: Meadow, Garden, Marine and the Poké Ball Pattern, which is the community reward. Nintendo Life reports that none of the 16 gift patterns can be found in the Z-A base game.

Vivillon Challenge: how the 660,000-point goal works
Every time a player evolves a Spewpa into Vivillon, the result counts toward a single worldwide total. The official site lists the rules:
- Goal: 660,000 Vivillon Points unlocks a Poké Ball Pattern Vivillon for everyone.
- Which Spewpa count: the gift Spewpa, plus Spewpa caught in the wild or obtained through side missions.
- Counter: the total on the site refreshes once an hour.
- Timing: pokemon.com says the challenge has no end date. If the goal is reached, the date for the Poké Ball Pattern distribution “will be announced separately”.
As of 22:59 UTC on October 29, The Pokémon Company had not announced that the goal was reached or when the Poké Ball Vivillon will be sent out. Check the counter on the official site, which updates hourly. The official notes also don’t explain how an evolution gets reported, so we can’t say whether evolving while offline counts.
Where to find more Spewpa to evolve
The gift is limited to one per save, but wild Spewpa count too. According to Serebii’s Wild Zone tables:
| Where | What you find | Unlocks |
|---|---|---|
| Wild Zone 4 | Spewpa | From Main Mission 5 |
| Wild Zone 1 | Scatterbug (evolve it into Spewpa first; the official notes only name wild and side-mission Spewpa) | From Main Mission 3 |
| Side Mission 21: “Spewpa in the Museum” | 12 Spewpa hidden around the museum | Side mission list |
The rules only mention evolving Spewpa, so a Vivillon caught already evolved in Wild Zone 13 is unlikely to add points.

Spewpa gift deadline in your time zone
The official @Pokemon post gives the end as Thursday, November 19, 2026 at 01:59 UTC. Converted:
| Region | Last moment to claim |
|---|---|
| US Pacific (PST) | Wed, Nov 18, 5:59 p.m. |
| US Eastern (EST) | Wed, Nov 18, 8:59 p.m. |
| UK (GMT) / UTC | Thu, Nov 19, 1:59 a.m. |
| Central Europe (CET) | Thu, Nov 19, 2:59 a.m. |
| India (IST) | Thu, Nov 19, 7:29 a.m. |
| Japan (JST) | Thu, Nov 19, 10:59 a.m. |
| Sydney (AEDT) | Thu, Nov 19, 12:59 p.m. |
In the US, the practical cutoff is the evening of November 18. The gift doesn’t expire once it’s in your game, so claim it early and evolve it whenever you like.
Bonus: send a Vivillon to Pokémon Champions for 666 VP
A separate pokemon.com campaign rewards you for moving a Z-A Vivillon into Pokémon Champions. Store a Vivillon you befriended in Legends: Z-A in Pokémon HOME, then bring it to visit Champions. You get a Meadow Pattern Vivillon Trainer icon, six Training Tickets and 666 VP on Switch or mobile. The window runs until January 30, 2027 at 6:59 a.m. PST (14:59 UTC). If you’re building a Champions team, our Pokémon Champions Reg M-C tier list covers which Pokémon are winning tournaments right now.
The gift and challenge started on October 29, the day the Pokémon Legends: Z-A Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Mega Dimension bundle came out on a physical Game Card. For other new releases that week, see this week’s new Switch 2 games and the full list of November 2026 Switch 2 games. If you play on your phone too, the Pokémon GO November 2026 events calendar has that game’s dates.
FAQ
Is there a code for the Spewpa Mystery Gift in Pokémon Legends Z-A?
No. You claim it with Get via Internet, with no code. The only shared code listed as still working is PREPAR1NG, which gives the item set.
Can I choose which Vivillon pattern I get?
No. The Pokémon Company says the gift Spewpa evolves into one of 16 patterns at random. RotomLabs reports that the pattern is fixed the moment you receive the gift, so reloading a save before it evolves won’t change it.
Can I claim the Spewpa more than once?
Only once per save data. To add more Vivillon Points, evolve wild Spewpa from Wild Zone 4 or the museum side mission.
Do I need the Mega Dimension DLC or Nintendo Switch Online?
No to both. The Spewpa works on the base game and on the Switch 2 Edition, and you only need an internet connection and a Nintendo Account. The Mega Garchomp Z portal is the only gift in the table that needs Mega Dimension.
When will the Poké Ball Pattern Vivillon be distributed?
The Pokémon Company hasn’t said. Its notes say the timing will be announced separately once the 660,000-point goal is reached, and that the challenge itself has no end date.
