How to Breed Hoola in My Singing Monsters: Combo, Time

Written by Nora

Hoola breeds from PomPom + Pango on Air or Earth Island, but only in SummerSong or a sale. Timer table, past dates, Seasonal Shanty and Epic Hoola combos.

To breed Hoola in My Singing Monsters, put a PomPom and a Pango in the Breeding Structure on Air Island or Earth Island. A Hoola egg shows a 1 day 1 hour timer (18h 45m enhanced). The catch is that Hoola is a SummerSong Seasonal, so that combo only works during SummerSong or a sale that includes it. Hoola was not available on November 2, 2026: the wiki’s live tracker listed only Clavavera and its Rare and Epic versions as Seasonals at 17:30 UTC. Below is what you can do now, the timer table, and when Hoola has come back in past years.

Quick answer

  • Combo: PomPom + Pango. It’s the only combo for Hoola on Air and Earth Island, and it isn’t guaranteed.
  • Islands: Air Island and Earth Island (plus their Mirror versions). Seasonal Shanty works all year, with different rules.
  • Breeding time: 1d 1h. Enhanced: 18h 45m. Skin boost: 22h 30m. Enhanced and boosted: 16h 15m.
  • Unlocks at: level 9. Hoola needs 1 bed and a 2×2 space.
  • Available right now? No, not on Air or Earth Island (checked November 2, 2026, 17:30 UTC). You can still buy one on Seasonal Shanty for 500 Diamonds.
  • Next likely chance: Black Friday weekend. Big Blue Bubble has offered all Core Seasonals then in 2023, 2024 and 2025, but nothing for 2026 is announced yet.
  • Buy price while it’s available: 225 Diamonds on Air or Earth Island, 250 on The Colossingum, and 250 on Seasonal Shanty (half the usual 500).

How to breed Hoola on Air Island and Earth Island

The combo and timers are the same on both islands. The My Singing Monsters Wiki explains that Hoola lives on both because PomPom, its “sister” in the game’s lore, does too, and PomPom and Pango are found on both islands. Air Island’s elements are Air, Earth, Water and Cold. Earth Island’s are Air, Plant, Earth and Cold. Both have the Earth, Air and Cold that PomPom and Pango need.

Parent Elements Best combo Time (enhanced) Unlocks at
PomPom Earth, Air, Cold Noggin + Pango 12h (9h) Level 7
Pango Air, Cold Tweedle + Mammott 8h (6h) Level 7

Breeding doesn’t use up either parent, and Big Blue Bubble doesn’t publish the odds, so plan for several tries. The order that wastes the least time once a SummerSong window opens:

  1. Reach level 9. Big Blue Bubble’s SummerSong 2026 graphic says Hoola is “available to buy or breed at Level 9 for a limited time” on Earth, Air, The Colossingum and Seasonal Shanty.
  2. Get your parents ready before the window opens. Breed a Pango from Tweedle + Mammott, then a PomPom from Noggin + Pango. Both can be done any time, so there’s no reason to wait for the event.
  3. Pair PomPom with Pango on Air or Earth Island while Hoola is available. Watch the timer: 1d 1h (or 18h 45m enhanced) means a Hoola.
  4. If you got a parent back, try again. A spare PomPom or Pango lets you run a second attempt at once with a second Breeding Structure.
  5. Use both islands. If you own Air and Earth Island, run PomPom + Pango on both at the same time to double your tries during a short window.

Air Island costs 50,000 coins once you own Cold Island. Earth Island costs 250,000 coins once you own Water Island. Hoolas you breed during a window stay on the island afterwards unless you sell them.

Hoola breeding time: did you get one?

The timer on the Breeding Structure tells you what’s inside before it hatches. These are the wiki’s times. Incubation in the Nursery lasts as long as breeding. The Enhanced Breeding Structure and Enhanced Nursery each cut time by 25%.

Timer shows (default) Enhanced Skin boost Enhanced + boosted Result
1d 7h 45m 23h 48m 45s 1d 4h 34m 30s 20h 38m 15s Rare Hoola (only while it’s available)
1d 1h 18h 45m 22h 30m 16h 15m Hoola
12h 9h 10h 48m 7h 48m PomPom (try again)
8h 6h 7h 12m 5h 12m Pango (try again)

Epic Hoola (21h 20m) never comes from PomPom + Pango. It has its own combos, covered below.

Can you breed Hoola right now?

Not on Air or Earth Island. The wiki’s live availability tracker showed no Hoola at 17:30 UTC on November 2, 2026. Spooktacle and its Punkleton ended that day, and Beat Hereafter (Clavavera) runs to November 9, according to the wiki’s seasonal log. If you breed PomPom + Pango outside a window, you only get PomPom or Pango back.

You have three ways to get a Hoola while it’s out of season:

  • Seasonal Shanty, any time. Common Seasonals are always sold there. Hoola costs 500 Diamonds, or 250 while it’s available elsewhere. Seasonal Shanty unlocks at level 9 once you own Fire Haven.
  • Scratch Tickets. The wiki says the weekly Scratch Tickets on Air Island, Earth Island and their Mirror islands can award a Hoola.
  • Wait for the next window and have PomPom and Pango ready (see the dates below).

When is Hoola available? Past dates and the next likely window

Hoola comes back several times a year, not only in summer. These are the windows that included Hoola, from the wiki’s Seasonal availability log:

Window 2024 2025 2026
Out-of-Season (Hoola, Rare, Epic) Jan 11-15 Jan 9-13 Jan 15-19
SummerSong (Hoola) Jul 17-Aug 5 Jul 9-28 Jul 15-Aug 3
Anniversary Month “Time of the Season” Sep 25-Oct 2 Sep 25-29 Sep 24-28
Anniversary “Grand Finale” (all Seasonals) Oct 2-9 Oct 1-6 Sep 30-Oct 7
Black Friday “Seasonals’ Greetings” (all Core Seasonals) Nov 29-Dec 2 Nov 28-Dec 1 Not announced
Festival of Yay “Song in Your Heart” (all Seasonals) Dec 25-30 Dec 24-29 Not announced

Hoola is a Core Seasonal, so the Black Friday promotion has included it three years running (it also ran November 24-27, 2023). If Big Blue Bubble keeps that pattern, the next chance on Air and Earth Island would be around Black Friday weekend (November 27, 2026), then the Festival of Yay sale in late December, then a January Out-of-Season weekend. That’s a pattern, not an announcement. Check the in-game Mailbox or Big Blue Bubble’s site before you spend Diamonds on speed-ups.

How to breed Hoola on Seasonal Shanty

Seasonal Shanty only holds Seasonals, and you can’t use PomPom + Pango there. You need a Hoola first: buy one, or feed one to level 15 on Air or Earth Island and teleport it over. Level 15 takes 655,320 treats in total, according to the wiki’s feeding table. Once a Hoola is on the island, you can duplicate it:

Combo on Seasonal Shanty What happens
Hoola + Rare Hoola 100% Hoola while Rare Hoola isn’t available
Hoola + Monculus (best with an Aux. Seasonal) Hoola or Monculus. A failure costs 20h 4m, the shortest wait of the Aux. Seasonals
Hoola + Spurrit or Gobbleygourd Also good. A failed egg is 20h 18m or 21h
Hoola + any other Aux. Seasonal Works, with longer waits when it fails

The wiki says combos with an Aux. Seasonal give a better chance of another Hoola than of the partner. Placing your first Hoola on Seasonal Shanty completes a goal worth 3 Diamonds. Seasonals can’t be zapped from Seasonal Shanty to Wublins.

Hoola is also a parent there. Hoola + Punkleton breeds Jam Boree, Hoola + Yool breeds Monculus, Hoola + Schmoochle breeds Boo’qwurm, and Hoola + Blabbit breeds Spurrit. For Punkleton itself, see our Punkleton breeding guide and the Spooktacle 2026 recap.

How to breed Rare Hoola and Epic Hoola

Both appear only during short promotions. Rare Hoola uses the normal PomPom + Pango combo. On Seasonal Shanty, any Hoola combo can give a Rare Hoola instead while it’s on sale. Epic Hoola has a different combo on each island:

Variant Combo Time (enhanced) Buy price
Rare Hoola PomPom + Pango 1d 7h 45m (23h 48m 45s) 500 Diamonds (625 on Seasonal Shanty)
Epic Hoola, Air Island Riff + Fwog (can give Epic Yawstrich if it’s available) 21h 20m (16h) 1,000 Diamonds
Epic Hoola, Earth Island Quarrister + Dandidoo 21h 20m (16h) 1,000 Diamonds
Epic Hoola, Seasonal Shanty Schmoochle + Yool (can give Carillong) 21h 20m (16h) 1,225 Diamonds

Riff is Air Island’s Quad (Noggin + Congle, 1 day) and Quarrister is Earth Island’s Quad (Noggin + Thumpies, 1 day, level 9). The wiki warns that, unlike most Quad + Double combos on the Natural islands, Epic Seasonal combos can also give the Quad back. Rare Hoola’s 2026 windows were the “Rarin’ to Go!” sales (July 16-20 and July 27-29), plus the January, Anniversary and Grand Finale windows above. Epic Hoola showed up in the “Loud and Proud” sale (June 25-29), the “Farewell Tour” (July 30-August 3), and at random, unannounced times during SummerSong, usually for 2 to 12 hours, as players recorded on the wiki.

For the other Air Island monsters, see our T-Rox breeding guide (an Air and Plant Island Triple) and the My Singing Monsters breeding chart.

What does Hoola like?

Each different liked item near a monster raises its happiness by 25%. Hoola’s likes, with the level each one unlocks at, per the wiki:

Like Unlock level Island limit
Tweedle 4 Air Island, Earth Island
Punkleton 9 Seasonal Shanty
Tree Hut 17 None listed
Tree Forte Tower 17 None listed
Castanevine (the secret like) 18 None listed

On Air and Earth Island, a Tweedle next to your Hoola is the cheap first step. Punkleton and Rare Hoola like Hoola back.

Is Hoola worth breeding?

  • Coins: weak if you collect once a day, but strong if you collect often. The wiki compares it to Ethereals and Quads on Air and Earth Island. At level 20 and full happiness it makes 166 coins a minute and holds up to 50,057. On Seasonal Shanty, it out-earns every other Common there.
  • XP and price: placing one gives 110,000 XP. It sells for 168,750 coins.
  • Other islands: a level 15 Hoola can be placed on Gold Island at any time, and Core Seasonals can be teleported to The Colossingum at level 5.
  • Costumes: seven, including M-Pop Vocalist, Flower Earth Child and Bubblegum Citrus from the Pomily Family Band act in Clubbox.

Compare it with a non-Seasonal grind like the Shugabush breeding guide: Hoola is quicker to breed, but you have to catch it in a window.

FAQ

How do you breed Hoola on Earth Island?

PomPom + Pango while Hoola is available (SummerSong or a sale that includes it). A 1d 1h timer means it worked. Air Island uses the same combo.

How long does Hoola take to breed?

1 day 1 hour, or 18 hours 45 minutes in an Enhanced Breeding Structure. Rare Hoola shows 1d 7h 45m and Epic Hoola 21h 20m.

Why didn’t PomPom and Pango give me a Hoola?

Either Hoola isn’t available right now (it wasn’t on November 2, 2026), or the try simply failed. The combo has no guaranteed odds, so keep pairing them while the event runs.

How do you breed Hoola in Dawn of Fire?

In My Singing Monsters: Dawn of Fire the combo is different: Woolabee + Pango on The Continent, with the same 1d 1h timer, according to the wiki. It’s only breedable during SummerSong Junior (July 15 to August 3 in 2026). Woolabee comes from Boskus + Tweedle (12 hours).

Can you get Hoola without breeding it?

Yes. Buy it on Air or Earth Island for 225 Diamonds while it’s available, or on Seasonal Shanty for 500 Diamonds at any time. Scratch Tickets can award one too.
