Rockstar Games has officially named seven GTA 6 vehicles so far: the ’55 Vapid Stanier, the ’95 Grotti Cheetah, the ’67 Vapid Dominator Buggy, Jason’s Vapid Ganado pickup, the Dinka Enduro motorcycle, the Shitzu Squalo boat and the Crest Kayak. All seven come from Rockstar’s own GTA VI site, where the edition selector and screenshot captions name them. Only the Stanier is in every copy bought before launch. Most of the others are Ultimate Edition extras.
This list sticks to what Rockstar itself has shown or named, checked on October 30, 2026 at 21:20 UTC. Leaked lists, datamines and fan guesses about which real-world car inspired which model are left out. Grand Theft Auto VI launches on November 19, 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and the full garage will only be known then.

GTA 6 vehicles list: every vehicle Rockstar has named

Which GTA 6 vehicles do you get in the Standard Edition?
Every copy gets the ’55 Vapid Stanier, as long as you buy before launch. Rockstar’s pre-order announcement says all GTA VI pre-orders and purchases before November 20, 2026 include the Vintage Vice City Pack. The pack contains the Stanier, a garage by Ocean Beach, retro outfits and hairstyles for Jason and Lucia, and a weapon pattern. That applies to the Standard and Ultimate Editions alike, digital or boxed.
The Vapid Ganado is described as Jason’s own “well-worn” pickup, so it reads as part of his story rather than a bonus. Only the exclusive mods are listed as an Ultimate extra. Everything else on the named list is tied to the Ultimate Edition. Rockstar hasn’t published a list of the ordinary cars, bikes and boats every player will find on Leonida’s roads.

GTA 6 Ultimate Edition vehicles and mod shops
Rockstar says the Ultimate Edition’s bonuses are “threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia’s story, with new items uncovered behind each chapter.” In other words, you won’t get every car on day one. The Cheetah, for example, is “available to punctuate later-stage action”.
- ’95 Grotti Cheetah: a white mid-’90s sports car with pop-up headlamps, a red interior and a minimalist striped livery in Rockstar’s screenshots. Rockstar calls it an “ode to Shore Drive”.
- ’67 Vapid Dominator Buggy: a lifted classic coupe on huge mud tyres with a roof light bar. It comes with the Paradise Garage in Watson Bay.
- Shitzu Squalo: a pink and blue speedboat at Washington Beach. One screenshot shows it with a police boat close by and a police helicopter overhead.
- Jason’s Safehouse Vehicles: an olive-green Dinka Enduro dirt-style motorcycle and an orange Crest Kayak.
- Vapid Ganado mod kit: Rockstar’s screenshot shows the pickup in yellow with a red racing stripe.
- Classic Car Collection: a side commission to restore abandoned project cars (see the next section).
- Rideout Customs: a mod shop that turns “vanilla vehicles into magnificent works of art with detailed interiors, exquisite rims, and donk stylings”.
- One-Eyed Willie’s Mod Shop: in Lake Leonida, specializing in “off-road modifications and hand-painted automotive artistry”.
Both mod shops are “only open for business with the Ultimate Edition,” in Rockstar’s words.

GTA 6 Classic Car Collection: the cars Rockstar showed but didn’t name
Rockstar describes the Classic Car Collection as a chance to “track down a variety of abandoned classic and work-in-progress project cars and revitalize them to their former glory.” The job comes from Wyman, whom Rockstar calls an “eccentric collector and local fixer.” Rockstar hasn’t named any of the cars in the collection, so here they are as its own captions describe them:
| Car in Rockstar’s screenshots | Rockstar’s description |
|---|---|
| Turquoise muscle car | “Side view of the exterior of a turquoise muscle car” |
| Striped off-roader | “A beige off-road vehicle with red, orange, and yellow stripes on the side panel” |
| Race-livery sports car | “A classic red sports car with a racing livery that has the number 36 on the door panel” |
| Green sports car | “Close up view of the front of a classic green sports car” |
| Stars-and-stripes muscle car | “A muscle car covered in a red, white, and blue stars and stripes livery” |
Fans have guessed names for these cars from their badges and shapes. We’ll add the official names once Rockstar or the game confirms them.
Other GTA 6 vehicles in Rockstar’s screenshots
Rockstar’s place galleries on its Only in Leonida pages show many more vehicle types, none of them named. Here is what Rockstar’s own captions describe, by region (our GTA 6 map guide explains each area):
| Region | Vehicles in Rockstar’s screenshots |
|---|---|
| Vice City | A jet over the Vice City sign, a police car, traffic at night, and dirt bikes and ATVs doing tricks on a city road |
| Leonida Keys | A seaplane over the water, a bridge full of cars, party boats, jet skis and a mobility scooter |
| Grassrivers | Airboats among alligators, a speedboat heading for Vice City, and a police chase with a helicopter and two police cars after a pickup truck |
| Port Gellhorn | Parked cars outside a club and a pickup at a bonfire; Rockstar’s text says to “jump on a dirt bike” |
| Ambrosia | A motorcycle gang in matching vests (Rockstar’s text mentions “the local biker gang”) and a car being washed |
| Mount Kalaga National Park | Dirt bikes in the mud, a jumping ATV and a news helicopter |
The character profiles add more. Jason sits on a motorcycle, Jason and Cal go fishing on a boat, and Raul stands at a boat’s throttle. Brian points at a man in a plane; Rockstar describes him as a drug runner who still moves product through his boat yard. The official cover art also shows a helicopter, a speedboat, a motorcycle and a yellow car with an open scissor door. Our GTA 6 characters list has every profile.

How driving and vehicles work in GTA 6
The biggest vehicle details so far come from Edge magazine’s GTA VI cover feature, published October 29, 2026. Edge watched Rockstar North’s Rob Nelson play the game and interviewed the studio. Edge reports:
- Fuel and damage: “every vehicle in the game has both a fuel gauge and a readout of engine health.” Cars can go a long way before running low, and refuelling is a quick stop.
- Car delivery: a phone app called Scooter Bros delivers one of your cars for a small fee. The driver then leaves on the scooter they brought. Your weapons are stashed in the car’s trunk.
- Stealing cars for fences: an app called WAINK lists the models fences want, with each car’s security and tracking features. Higher-end cars ping their location to the police, and how much you’re paid depends on the car’s condition when you deliver it.
- Getaways: in the demo, Jason fled on a stolen motorcycle with Lucia riding behind him. The player can switch to the passenger to shoot at pursuing cars. Police laid a stinger strip that was almost invisible at night, and a K9 unit joined the chase.
- Street races: during another escape in an elderly station wagon, a group in a customised 4×4 with purple underglow pulled alongside and kept taunting until the player accepted a street race.
- Weather: wind and sheltered water change how boats move. “Depending on where you are in your boat, you’ll skip over that stuff or get really rocked around by it,” Rockstar’s Aaron Garbut told Edge. Storms can buffet planes and helicopters, which may take light damage if they stay in severe weather.
Edge saw a guided demo, so treat these as Rockstar’s description of the systems, not final hands-on impressions. For the wanted system, NPCs and everything else Rockstar has confirmed, see our GTA 6 features list.

GTA 6 trailers to watch for vehicles
Rockstar has released four official videos on its YouTube channel. All four are on the GTA VI site, and each one shows plenty of traffic, boats and aircraft:
- Trailer 1 (December 2023)
- Trailer 2 (May 6, 2025)
- An Extended Look (August 27, 2026)
- Launch Trailer (October 15, 2026), covered in our GTA 6 launch trailer breakdown
Rockstar doesn’t name vehicles in the trailers, so a name you see in a fan list for a trailer car is a guess.
What about leaked GTA 6 vehicle lists?
Lists that claim hundreds of “confirmed” GTA 6 vehicles mix Rockstar’s material with leaked footage, datamined names from older games and fans’ guesses at real-world models. Rockstar hasn’t published a full vehicle list or a vehicle count. This page only adds a vehicle when Rockstar shows or names it. The full roster arrives on November 19. Our GTA 6 release time and pre-load guide has the unlock time for your region.
