Board notes and 3-4 matched YouTube walkthroughs for 9 Yarn Loop hard levels (30, 200, 300, 400, 600, 786, 800, 990, 1100), plus boosters and lives.

Stuck on a Yarn Loop hard level? Bing and Google autocomplete agree on which levels players search for most: 600, 786, 800, 990, 1100, 400, 300, 200 and 30. This guide covers all nine. For each one we matched three or four YouTube walkthroughs, checked their frames to confirm the board, and noted what makes it tricky. Yarn Loop level 600 is the most-searched of the lot. It’s a unicorn board with a Super Hard label, and its top walkthrough has more than 15,000 views.

The good news, according to players: the bobbins come in the same order every time you replay a level. So a video of your board works as a real guide to the order, as long as the picture matches yours.

Quick answer

  • Levels covered: 30, 200, 300, 400, 600, 786, 800, 990 and 1100, with three or four walkthrough videos each (checked October 31, 2026, 20:30 UTC). Each one matched the same picture in every video we checked.
  • Match the picture first. Several creators say some levels got harder versions in updates. Before you copy anyone’s order, check that the knitted picture on your screen is the one described below.
  • The order is fixed. A Google Play reviewer says the yarn bobbins come in the same order on every attempt, and an App Store reviewer past level 1,000 says the harder levels “have a set path to follow to win”.
  • Two levels have no-booster wins on video. Puzzle Play Solutions titles its 786 and 800 walkthroughs “No Boosters”.
  • Boosters cost coins. Recent videos show booster buttons priced at 300, 500 and 600 coins. One App Store reviewer says a shuffle costs 500 coins and is sometimes “not available”.

Two naming notes. Older walkthroughs call the game Yarn Flow, and that’s the same game: the Android package is still com.combo.yarnflow, the in-app coin packs are still named “Yarn Flow”, and Rock Gaming Channel’s “Yarn Flow” videos of levels 200, 300 and 400 show the same boards as the newer “Yarn Loop” videos. A different game, HORUS Entertainment’s “Yarn Loop”, also sits on the App Store, and its levels don’t match this guide.

How Yarn Loop levels work

Combo Games’ App Store listing explains the core rule. Bobbins go onto a conveyor that loops around a knitted picture. Each bobbin collects only stitches of its own color, and its number is its capacity, which counts down with every stitch. A bobbin that reaches zero disappears. One that still has capacity left goes to the rack, and you can use it again later.

Here’s what the store screenshots and walkthrough frames add:

  • Edges first. In the store art, bobbins pull thread from the edge of the picture that faces the belt. In the videos, pictures are cleared from the outside in.
  • The belt counter. A counter at the belt entrance reads 2/5, 3/5 or 5/5 in the screenshots. In the videos it changes as bobbins go on and come off the belt.
  • Five rack slots sit between the belt and the columns of bobbins.
  • Mystery bobbins. Black bobbins marked “?” hide their color. They show up on levels 30, 200, 400 and 600.
  • Tied bobbins. Two or three bobbins joined by a rope appear on levels 600, 800 and 990. Plan room for all of them.
  • Numbered stitch blocks. Some boards add solid blocks with a number on them, like the 20 blocks on level 600 and the 40 bars on level 1100.
  • Keys and locks. Levels 300 and 400 have small yellow key icons in the picture and keyhole bobbins in the queue. Combo Games doesn’t explain them in the listing, so we won’t guess at the rule.

Each level’s start screen shows its difficulty: “Hard” or “Super Hard” under the level number. Below, “start screen” means we saw that label in a video frame. “Video titles” means the creators label the level that way.

Yarn Loop hard levels: boards and video walkthroughs

Video ages are as YouTube showed them on October 31, 2026.

Level Label What’s on the board Video walkthroughs

200 Super Hard (start screen) An orange-and-yellow picture with a red-and-white striped block, on a black background dotted with colored crosses and edged with red, yellow and blue stripes. Several mystery bobbins near the front Dizzy’s games (7 months), Rock Gaming Channel (8 months, as “Yarn Flow”), Chum Game Time (6 months)
300 Super Hard (video titles) A brown-and-white cow with a pink nose in front of green leaves, with small yellow key icons in the picture Dizzy’s games (7 months), Rock Gaming Channel (8 months, as “Yarn Flow”), Wickedhoule Gaming (1 day)
400 Super Hard (start screen) A wooden cupboard scene with a blue vase of flowers on the left and a red-and-orange shape at the bottom right. Yellow keys in the picture, keyhole and mystery bobbins in the queue Dizzy’s games (7 months), Rock Gaming Channel (8 months, as “Yarn Flow”), Chum Game Time (3 months)
600 Super Hard (start screen) A unicorn head with a white face and a rainbow mane, small teal pixel hearts, and a column of numbered 20 blocks on the right. Mystery and tied bobbins Rock Gaming Channel (7 months, 15,000+ views), Dizzy’s games (6 months), Wickedhoule Gaming (3 months)
786 Hard (start screen) A red, white and navy figure on a big cyan background, with a black-and-white checkered patch near the bottom LuneevaPlays (6 months), Puzzle Play Solutions (4 months, “No Boosters”), Wickedhoule Gaming (2 months), Chum Game Time (3 weeks)
800 Super Hard (video titles) A patchwork panda face in pink, blue, black and white, with green checkered and yellow patches around it. Tied bobbins in the queue Dizzy’s games (4 months), Puzzle Play Solutions (4 months, “No Boosters”), Gully (2 weeks), Another L3v3l (4 days)
990 Super Hard (video titles) A toy soldier in a red coat with white crossed belts and a tall black hat, next to a green-and-cyan striped flag. Lots of tied bobbins BullCornTV (7 months), Christina Conti (2 months), Dizzy’s games (1 month), Gully (8 days)
1100 Super Hard (video titles) A large salmon-pink figure with a green patch among grey and black blocks. Numbered 40 bars run along the top and bottom (white, pink and cyan), plus three six-color yarn boxes LuneevaPlays (6 months), Dizzy’s games (1 month), Netjinx Finds (6 days, “NEW Harder October 2026 Update”)

Netjinx Finds calls its level 1100 and level 900 videos “new harder” versions, and Christina Conti’s 990 title says “updated 8-5-2026”. Even so, the 1100 and 990 pictures in those videos match the older videos. So if an update changed these two levels, it changed the bobbins, not the picture. If your board looks right but your bobbins don’t match a video, try the newest video in the row.

Level-by-level tips

These notes come from the walkthrough frames and show where the pressure points are. For the exact order, follow a video of your board.

Yarn Loop level 600

The unicorn’s rainbow mane mixes many small patches of color, so no single bobbin gets a long run of stitches early. In the frames, the white face and the column of 20 blocks on the right are still on the board well into the run, while the outer pieces go first. In Dizzy’s games’ zoomed-in frame, the teal hearts carry “?” marks, so keep a rack slot free for a surprise near the end.

Yarn Loop level 786

This is the only level on the list labelled Hard rather than Super Hard. The cyan background is the biggest single color. In the frames from all four videos, it’s gone well before the red, white and navy figure. Puzzle Play Solutions finishes without boosters, so try that run before you spend coins.

Yarn Loop level 800

The panda is a patchwork of colors, and several queue bobbins are tied together with rope. In the later frames, parts of the panda face and the green patch are among the last pieces left. Puzzle Play Solutions also beats this one without boosters.

Yarn Loop level 990

The striped flag takes up much of the board, and the queue is full of rope-tied pairs. All four videos show the soldier’s red coat as one of the last areas left. Send tied groups only when the rack has space for every bobbin in the group.

Yarn Loop level 1100

The 40 bars along the top and bottom, plus the three six-color yarn boxes, are what set this board apart. The pink figure is still on the board in the latest frame of every video, so don’t spend your pink bobbins early. If you’re on the newer version Netjinx Finds describes, start with that video.

Yarn Loop levels 30, 200, 300 and 400

Level 30 is many players’ first Super Hard board. Opinions on the early levels split on Google Play: one player calls level 23 “functionally impossible” without paid power-ups, while another says the challenging levels can still be beaten without purchases or ads. The penguin is mostly blue and white, so watch for the orange beak and feet: they’re small targets that can leave a bobbin with capacity to spare. On level 200, the mystery bobbins sit near the front, so the first few moves reveal a lot. One App Store reviewer says this level, “marked super hard”, took about 15 attempts. Levels 300 and 400 add the key icons. Another reviewer says 300 is where the difficulty “wall” starts.

A solving order that works on any board

  1. Find the colors on the edge of the picture. Only those bobbins have stitches to collect right away.
  2. Treat the five rack slots as your margin. Every bobbin that comes back with capacity left takes a slot.
  3. Don’t send two bobbins of one color unless there’s plenty of that color exposed. They split the same stitches, and both come back to the rack.
  4. Use your fails. The order is the same each time, so note where the mystery and tied bobbins are and plan around them on the next try.

Coins, lives and boosters

Item What we found
Lives 5. The home screen in the videos shows a heart with 5 and “FULL”
Booster prices Recent videos show three booster buttons labelled 300, 500 and 600 coins
Shuffle 500 coins and sometimes “not available”, says one App Store reviewer
Extra bobbin One App Store reviewer says some levels needed the 100-coin “+1 bobbin” to win
Coin packs Ten packs from $1.99 to $24.99 on the US App Store (checked October 31, 2026)

Reviewers are split on spending. One says some Super Hard boards “you must spend money to pass”, while the Puzzle Play Solutions videos win 786 and 800 without boosters.

FAQ

How do I beat Yarn Loop level 600?

Match the unicorn picture first, then follow one of the walkthroughs in the table. Rock Gaming Channel’s is the most watched. Clear the outer pieces and the rainbow edges first, and keep a rack slot free for the end.

Are there Yarn Loop cheats?

There are no cheat codes in the game. Your options are boosters bought with coins, replays (the bobbin order doesn’t change), and a video of your exact board. We don’t link modded apps. They break the game’s terms and can carry malware.

Is Yarn Loop the same as Yarn Flow?

Yes. Older walkthroughs use the Yarn Flow name and show the same boards (see the naming notes above). HORUS Entertainment’s “Yarn Loop” is a different game.

How many levels does Yarn Loop have?

Combo Games only says “hundreds”. Walkthroughs on YouTube go past level 2,000, and the game updates about weekly (versions 1.55 to 1.58 shipped between October 9 and October 27, 2026).
