Matched YouTube walkthroughs and board notes for 11 Block Out hard levels, from 64 to 624, including the new level 204 and 248 boards. Checked Nov 1.

Stuck on a Block Out level? Between them, Bing and Google autocomplete list these levels most often: 99, 69, 248, 619, 119, 344, 129, 179, 624, 64 and 204. This guide covers all eleven. For each one we found three to six YouTube walkthroughs, compared their frames to confirm they show the same board, and noted what’s on it. Block Out level 99 is the most-searched of the lot. It’s a Super Hard board with a chained cross in the middle, and its top walkthrough has more than 35,000 views.

One thing to know before you copy any video: levels 204 and 248 have changed. Walkthroughs from the past two weeks show a different board for both than the older, most-watched videos, so we list both versions.

Quick answer

  • Levels covered: 64, 69, 99, 119, 129, 179, 204, 248, 344, 619 and 624, each with three to six matched walkthroughs (checked November 1, 2026, 02:20 UTC).
  • Match the board first. Check the covered sections, padlocks and door colors on your screen against the descriptions below before you copy anyone’s moves.
  • Two levels have new boards. For 204 and 248, the newest videos (1 day to 2 weeks old) show a different layout than videos from two to five months ago.
  • The label tells you what to expect. The start screen and timer show “Hard Level” or “Super Hard”. Levels 69, 99, 119, 129, 179 and 619 are Super Hard; 64, 204, 344 and 624 are Hard; 248 has no label.
  • Boosters: an App Store reviewer says the clock stops time, the rocket removes one block and the UFO removes several blocks of the same color. Grand Games’ store art prices the clock at 300 coins and the UFO at 1,200.

Our Block Out! tips guide explains the rules, every obstacle, lives and ads. This page is the level-by-level companion.

How to read the boards below

We can’t play the levels ourselves, so the descriptions come from the walkthrough frames. Terms used below:

  • Covered sections: purple panels with a number on them. In the videos the number counts down as blocks leave, and the panel opens to reveal more blocks.
  • Numbered ice: white strips on the edges of doors with a number. These count down in the videos too.
  • Chains and padlocks: chained blocks with a padlock number, plus keys on nearby blocks. The padlock number drops as the run goes on.
  • Block generators: machines on the edge of the board that show a counter and the next block’s shape.

Video ages and view counts are as YouTube showed them on November 1, 2026.

Gamer Fox’s level 204 video (5 months old) shows a third 204 board, with chained blocks and keys and no staircase edge. If your board looks like one of those, those videos are the ones to watch. Some Gamer Fox videos carry a “Color Game Gaming” watermark; the intro shows the same fox logo.

Level-by-level tips

These notes come from the walkthrough frames and point out where the pressure is. For the exact order, follow a video of your board.

Block Out level 99

The covered panel at the top opens first in every video, and the board underneath is busy: keys sit on several blocks around the chained orange cross. The padlock numbers fall as the run goes on (from 4 to 1 in Bamsi Gaming 2.0’s newest run), and the orange cross and the green block with the up-down arrow are still on the board late in most of the videos.

CherieGaming’s walkthrough below includes a replay, which makes the order easier to follow:

Block Out level 69

Three covered sections hide much of the board at the start. The two at the top open early in the videos. The big one at the bottom left takes longest, and behind it is a frozen cyan block with its own counter, so leave time for it at the end. The ice numbers on the left and bottom doors also count down as you go.

Block Out level 248

Check which version you have. On the new board, red gem blocks matter: the yellow shutter on the right shows a red gem and a padlock. Grand Games’ update notes describe the Locked Shutter this way: “clear gem blocks that match the lock’s color to unlock it”. On the older board, the padlock on the chained yellow block at the lower right counts down from 3 in Rock Gaming Channel’s frames as the blocks around it leave.

Block Out level 619

Gamer Fox titles this one “Hard”, but the start screen and timer in every video say Super Hard. Most of the board starts covered, and the three top sections open one by one in the videos. The lower-left shelf, with its red and purple doors facing up, still holds blocks late in every run we checked.

Block Out levels 119, 129 and 179

All three are Super Hard boards built around big covered sections. On 119 and 129, block generators show a counter and the next block’s shape, so more blocks arrive while you play and the board doesn’t empty as fast as it looks. On 179, the padlocks on the chained red and blue pair count down from 3 to 1 in C2 gamer 100k’s frames, and the two big squares at the bottom are among the last blocks left in most videos.

Block Out levels 64, 204, 344 and 624

These are Hard rather than Super Hard. Level 64 is mostly about opening the two tall covered sections. On 204, check the version first. Level 344 plays like two puzzles: in every video the top area is cleared first, and only then does the lower part with its arrow block and counter block open up. Level 624 has the most covered space of the four.

Block Out level 137 Super Hard board shaped like a U, filled with black and white bricks and a red bar at the top of the right arm

Beating the clock

Levels don’t change between attempts, so a failed run still shows you the order; watch the videos at slow speed to copy a sequence. Players feel the clock most on these levels. One App Store reviewer sums up the hard puzzles as “You must know the exact combination immediately or you lose.” Another reports a paid continue that adds 90 seconds and warns that its button sits in the middle of the screen, where it’s easy to tap by accident when time runs out.

Boosters and coins

Booster What it does (per an App Store reviewer) Price shown
Clock Stops time 300 coins in Grand Games’ store art
Rocket Takes away one block Shown with a stock count in the store art; 600 coins in one recent video
UFO Takes away several blocks of the same color 1,200 coins in the store art

The rocket price comes from the booster bar in Ning’s level 248 walkthrough, which shows 300, 600 and 1,200 coin labels.

If you like puzzle games where the order is everything, our Yarn Loop hard levels guide uses the same matched-video approach, and Grand Games’ other hit is covered in the Magic Sort! hard levels guide. For more picks, see the best color sort games on iPhone and Android.

FAQ

How do I beat Block Out level 99?

Match the board first: a covered panel at the top, a chained orange cross in the middle and a green arrow block at the bottom. Then follow one of the walkthroughs in the table. Usman’s Gaming’s is the most watched, and CherieGaming’s includes a replay.

Are there Block Out cheats?

There are no cheat codes in the game. Your options are boosters bought with coins, replays (the board doesn’t change between attempts), and a video of your exact board. We don’t link modded apps. They break the game’s terms and can carry malware.

Is Block Out the same as Color Block Jam?

No. Color Block Jam is a different game, and its level 619 and 624 videos show other boards. Block Out! – Color Sort Puzzle is from Grand Games.
