What the official Alien Biome listing says
The listing was posted on October 31 at 16:29 UTC, about half an hour after the Jonas Brothers concert ended (our concert recap covers that show). It’s hosted by the game’s verified Roblox group, “and Collect Rare Pets”, and filed under Roblox’s “new content” event category. This is everything the developer has said about the update so far:
- The story: Paranoid Pete “tried to warn us, but nobody believed him.” His radar is now “picking up stronger signals of extraterrestrial activity,” and UFO sightings are “becoming more frequent.”
- The threat: the aliens “have set their sights on Steal an Egg, and they’re getting closer.”
- The promise: “A NEW ALIEN BIOME ARRIVES NEXT WEEK!”
- The art: a crashed flying saucer in a blocky crater full of glowing green, pink and blue crystals, with a “New biome this Saturday” banner (shown above).
And here’s what it doesn’t say. There’s no list of new eggs or pets, no Speed requirement, no boss and no reward. The listing also doesn’t say whether the biome stays in the game after the listing ends on November 14.

Two patterns are worth knowing. First, since mid-September each new listing has gone up on the day of the previous update, usually within a few hours of it starting. So the listing for the update after the Alien Biome will most likely appear on November 7. Second, big updates have come with a new Robux “Limited Egg” pack. Roblox’s public product list for the game shows Luminous packs created Sep 12, Extinction packs Sep 25 and Halloween packs Oct 15. As of November 4, 20:50 UTC there was no alien egg pack yet, and the newest product was the concert’s “[EXCLUSIVE] Burnin’ Shell” (999 Robux, Oct 31). You never need a pack to play the new biome.

How to prepare for the Alien Biome update
The developer hasn’t published a Speed requirement for the new biome, so you can’t know exactly what you’ll need. The game’s own description lays out the loop, though: steal and hatch eggs, earn money from your pets, upgrade your treadmill and base, and train for Speed. So getting ready means doing more of that before Saturday. In order:
- Claim the free 10,000 Speed if you never did: like the game, favorite it and join the “and Collect Rare Pets” group. It’s the easiest Speed you’ll ever get.
- Bank Speed from your farthest biome. In our beginner guide’s biome list, every biome has needed more Speed than the one before it, so expect the aliens to want more than you have now. Spend the days before the update hatching fast eggs from the farthest biome you can already reach, and stand on your best treadmill while they grow. - Save cash for the next upgrade. If a new treadmill or trail shows up with the update, you’ll want money ready instead of spending it all on Friday.
- Keep your best earners in your pen. Pets earn money every second they sit there, so the cash keeps coming while you train.
- Set a reminder for 16:00 UTC. RSVP on the official event page. The Alien Biome listing doesn’t promise an Admin Abuse or launch rewards, so don’t count on extras; just be ready to play.
- Rejoin if nothing changes. A Roblox server that started before an update can keep running the old version. If the biome isn’t there after 16:00 UTC, leave and join a new server.

Stay safe around update day
Big updates bring a wave of fake “alien egg codes”, “free pet” generators and auto-farm scripts. Steal an Egg has no codes, scripts break Roblox’s rules and can get you banned, and no real site will ever ask for your Roblox password or cookie. If you play other games with weekly drops, the same rule applies. How big is Steal an Egg right now?
Still huge. At 20:45 UTC on November 4 the game’s Roblox page showed 521,853 people playing, more than 10.4 billion visits and 9.3 million favorites. The concert badge, “The Jonas Brother Concert”, had been awarded 6,923,994 times. The game page also shows a new version pushed on November 4 at 18:22 UTC, three days before the biome. The developer didn’t say what that version changed.
