How to redeem codes in Steal an Egg
You can’t, for now. Most Roblox games put a Codes button on the screen with a text field inside, and Steal an Egg has never had one. If codes ever arrive, they’ll come with a new button in a weekly update. Steal an Egg updates every Saturday at 15:00 UTC, so that’s the moment to check.
Where a first code would most likely appear, according to PCGamesN: the game’s Roblox page description, the official community group, or the announcements channel of the Discord server linked on the game page. Those are the only sources worth trusting. A code that only shows up in a random video or on a “free pets” site isn’t real.
Free 10,000 Speed: the closest thing to a code
Speed is the stat that matters most in Steal an Egg. It decides which biomes you can reach and whether you can outrun the guardian on the way home. The game gives every player a one-time Speed gift for three quick steps, according to AllThingsHow, TechWiser and RBLXGUIDE:
- Like Steal an Egg (the thumbs-up on its Roblox page).
- Favorite it (the star icon).
- Join the community “and Collect Rare Pets”, the verified group that runs the game. It already has more than 108 million members.
- Go back into the game and claim your 10,000 Speed gift.
That’s enough for the Lake (900 Speed) and the Desert (10K) straight away. TechWiser calls the gift limited-time, so claim it now if you haven’t yet. Do it before you buy anything, because the Lake and Desert eggs give much bigger Speed rewards than the Forest’s. Free rewards from events (no Robux needed)
Codes in other games usually give boosts or a pet. In Steal an Egg, the timed events do the same job, and they keep coming back. These are the free ones, as documented on the Steal an Egg Wiki and in the update notes:

The Rift Sacrifice is a good way to recycle duplicates. Its wanted pets change with the active banner (Riftborn, Riftbeasts or Shattered Rift), which rotates about every three hours, according to the wiki. Shooting Stars are rare. PCGamesN notes you can also buy up to five a week, but the event itself is free.
Free pets from Boss Mastery
The best free rewards in the game come from simply showing up for Dr. Scramble. Every win adds one Boss Mastery Point, and these totals unlock event pets, per the wiki’s Dr. Scramble’s Laboratory page:

The wiki lists all five as event pets, not biome-nest pets. With one Dr. Scramble fight every 30 minutes, 100 points takes a while, so join the fights while your eggs grow.

Jonas Brothers concert: are there concert codes?
No. The official event listing now names the act: “SAE: Jonas Brothers LIVE!”, which brings the band’s Burning Up Tour All Over Again to Steal an Egg “for a one-time-only concert”. The listing’s text has no codes in it. Its only hint at a reward is a single line: “Stick around for a BIG surprise!” What that surprise is hasn’t been announced, so be wary of any video that promises a concert code or a free concert pet.

How to spot fake Steal an Egg codes
“Steal an Egg codes” is one of the game’s top searches, so fake lists are everywhere. A few quick checks:
- No code box means no codes. If a video shows someone typing a code, check the game. It’s often a different experience.
- Watch for look-alike names. “Steal Animal Egg” and “Break and Steal an Egg” are different games. Steal Animal Egg does have codes, according to Pocket Tactics, but they won’t work in Steal an Egg.
- Never enter your password or Roblox cookie on any site promising pets, Speed or Robux.
- Skip “scripts” and “notifier” downloads. They break Roblox’s rules and can get your account banned.
When will Steal an Egg get codes?
The developer hasn’t said. The game has dropped an update every Saturday at 15:00 UTC since August, including Mounts (Oct 10), the Halloween Dimension (Oct 17) and Halloween Part 2 (Oct 24), and none of them added codes.
