As of November 4, 2026 (checked 21:30 UTC), BitLife has no official challenge we can confirm as live. Candywriter’s Live Events hub says “Nothing live right now”, and the newest weekly challenge we could verify on @BitLifeApp is the Bro Athlete Challenge from September 9, 2026. Below: every 2026 challenge we could date, ten family-friendly official challenges ranked easiest to hardest with routes, and our own fan ideas.
- This week: nothing is listed on bitlifeapp.com/live-events. We’ll update this page when @BitLifeApp posts a new “Challenge is LIVE” message.
- When challenges usually start: most of BitLife’s 2026 “is LIVE” posts went up on a Saturday between 19:00 and 21:00 UTC, and the wiki’s 2025 list shows five-day runs that start on Saturdays.
- Easiest official challenge to replay: Beach Vibes Only (born in California, ride a bike, emigrate to Aruba, lifeguard, Maldives vacation). It needs no packs and has no luck-heavy steps.
- Hardest on our list: Shipwrecked Shogun. You have to reach General in Japan’s army, buy a multi-million-dollar pirate ship and survive a shipwreck that can kill you.
- Old challenges: past weekly challenges live in the paid Challenge Vault. BitLife launched it on October 2, 2022, with “over 100” challenges.

Destructoid published a guide to a Michael Myers-inspired “Halloween challenge” on October 30, 2026. Its goals are about violence, so we don’t give a route for it here. Our BitLife fame guide for every career covers the goal that turns up most often in recent challenges: “become famous”.

How BitLife challenges work
- Where to find them: a ticker runs across the game when a challenge is coming up or live. Completed challenges appear on the Challenges tab with your rank, based on how early you finished (per the BitLife wiki).
- You need to be online: the wiki says a challenge only counts while you’re connected to the internet.
- Rewards: finishing a challenge earns an Accessories item. Recent walkthroughs describe picking one of four prize boxes for a random cosmetic.
- Old challenges: uncompleted past challenges moved into the Challenge Vault in October 2022, and the wiki notes it costs money to unlock. Candywriter’s July 2026 patch notes say “new challenges are in the Vault.”
- Goal didn’t tick? The wiki recommends aging up once, or leaving and re-entering the game.
BitLife challenges easiest to hardest (official, with routes)
All ten below are real Candywriter challenges, and the requirements are worded as the in-game banner lists them (via the BitLife wiki, or Destructoid’s guide for World BitCup, which the wiki hasn’t added yet). We left out challenges built around crime, hook-ups or hurting other characters. The ranking is ours. It weighs how many steps depend on luck, how much in-game money you need, and whether a paid pack is required.
| # | Challenge | First ran | Paid item needed? | Hardest step |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Beach Vibes Only | Jul 26-30, 2025 | No | Finding Aruba on the emigration list |
| 2 | Nomad | Jan 25-29, 2025 | No (Golden Passport helps) | Four approved emigrations |
| 3 | Renaissance | Jan 4-8, 2025 | No | Eight years of university |
| 4 | Nerd | Aug 16-20, 2025 | Maybe: the wiki lists the optometrist as a Bitizenship feature | Science and D&D clubs appearing |
| 5 | Kahlo My World | Mar 7-13, 2026 | No | A pueblo home listing |
| 6 | Trailblazing Superstar | May 31-Jun 4, 2025 | No (ads without Bitizenship) | Drama Club president |
| 7 | Defying Gravity | Mar 8-12, 2025 | No | Pilot’s license and buying a plane |
| 8 | Dog Days of Summer | Jul 19-23, 2025 | Yes: athlete job pack or Boss Mode | Famous baseball player |
| 9 | World BitCup | Jul 11, 2026 | Pro Athlete is a Job Pack career | Ballon d’Or (pure luck) |
| 10 | Shipwrecked Shogun | Mar 29-Apr 2, 2025 | No | Surviving a shipwreck |
1. Beach Vibes Only
Goals: be born in California, ride a bike, emigrate to Aruba, become a lifeguard, go on vacation to the Maldives.
Route: keep your record clean, because a criminal record can get your emigration refused (per the wiki). Ride the bike from Assets if your parents give you one. Otherwise, buy a new one after 18 (Destructoid warns that worn-out bikes are more likely to cause accidents). Once you’ve graduated, go to Activities > Emigrate and reopen the list until Aruba appears. Lifeguard is a part-time job, so check Occupation > Part-Time Jobs. Finish with Activities > Vacation > Maldives.
2. Nomad
Goals: be born in the United States, then emigrate to Germany, Spain, France and Brazil.
Route: according to the wiki, you can emigrate once you’ve finished high school at 18. Each country has to approve your request, and the move costs money. Standard BitLife offers 8 random countries at a time, so keep some money saved and recheck the list each year until the next country appears. Military service, a criminal record or a giant exotic pet can get you refused. The paid Golden Passport lets you pick any country, which turns this into a five-minute challenge.
3. Renaissance
Goals: be born a male in Italy, get a degree in Physics, get a degree in Graphic Design, become a painter, go on 5+ long walks after age 18.
Route: earn the two degrees back to back. That’s about eight in-game years without the Golden Diploma. Painter has no education requirement on the wiki’s job table, so just refresh Occupation > Jobs until it’s listed. Do the walks under Activities > Mind & Body > Walk, choosing the longest walk. Walks raise your health, but the wiki says older characters can rarely have a heart attack.
4. Nerd
Goals: be born in Texas, wear glasses, join the Science Club, join the Dungeons and Dragons Club, become a computer programmer.
Route: glasses come from the optometrist. When your parents worry about your eyesight, Destructoid’s tip is to pick the answer that fails the eye exam on purpose. The wiki lists the optometrist itself as a Bitizenship feature, so that parent scenario is the free route. Clubs live under School > your school > Activities from middle school on. If they don’t appear, look again in high school and university. The wiki’s job table lists a university degree for Jr. Computer Programmer, so enroll anyway and use those years to hunt for the clubs.

5. Kahlo My World
Goals: be born a female in Mexico City, become a painter, own a pueblo home, marry a painter, become famous.
Route: take the painter job at 18, then date a painter you meet through your job’s Co-Workers list. Pueblo homes are rare listings under Assets > Shopping > real estate brokers. Destructoid saw them priced at roughly $35,000-$90,000 and needed about 15 refreshes. Painting doesn’t make you famous, so get there through social media or one of the routes in our how to become famous in BitLife guide.
6. Trailblazing Superstar
Goals: be born in New York, become president of the Drama Club, take acting lessons, master an instrument, become a choreographer.
Route: start with the Musician special talent. Ask your parents for acting lessons from age 8 (Activities > Mind & Body), and practise one instrument every year until its bar is full. Join the Drama Club in middle school and again in high school. Destructoid reports that becoming president needs near-maxed acting skill and decent grades. For the last goal, study Dance at university, then apply for Jr. Choreographer.
7. Defying Gravity
Goals: be born a female in Kansas, become best friends with a popular girl in school, study Physics in university, work as a pilot, fly an airplane that you own.
Route: check your classmates’ Popularity bars, befriend one near the top, then use Change Our Status once the relationship is high. On the wiki’s job table, Pilot Trainee needs a university degree plus a pilot’s license. The license takes 40 hours of Flight School and a test that costs about $1,000 or more after 18. The wiki warns that flight lessons can rarely kill you. Destructoid found gliders from about $100,000 in Aircraft Brokers. Fly yours from Assets.
8. Dog Days of Summer
Goals: be born in Indiana, adopt 5+ dogs, own a mastiff named Hercules, become a famous baseball player, have a baby named Ruth.
Route: per Destructoid, the famous baseball step needs the athlete job pack or Boss Mode. Candywriter’s FAQ lists Pro Athlete among the Job Packs that Boss Mode unlocks. Pick the Sports talent, join the school baseball team and practise hard. A mastiff shows up at Dog Breeders after a few refreshes. Name your child Ruth after you’re married.
9. World BitCup
Goals: become captain of your high school’s soccer team, become a professional soccer player, earn a Ballon d’Or award, win 3+ championships, pass a doping test.
Route: captaincy comes as a random offer once your soccer performance is high, so practise hard every year. Destructoid says the Ballon d’Or can’t be forced. Max your athlete stats, move to stronger teams and keep playing. You pass the doping test by never taking performance enhancers.
10. Shipwrecked Shogun
Goals: be born a male in the United Kingdom, emigrate to Japan, become a General in the Japanese Army, own a pirate ship, survive a shipwreck.
Route: emigrate before you enlist, because the wiki says military service can block emigration. Joining as an officer with a degree is the faster way up the ranks. You need a boating license before the boat dealer shows big ships. Destructoid reports pirate ships at roughly $7-10 million. Sail until something goes wrong. The shipwreck can end your life, so it’s worth having an heir ready.
Fan-made BitLife challenge ideas (ours, not official)
These are GamingRoute’s own ideas for when there’s no live challenge. They don’t appear in the game and give no reward. Each one builds on a BitLife guide we’ve already written.
- Bench Warmer (medium): no crimes, a law degree, then a judge’s seat before age 60. Route: how to become a lawyer and judge in BitLife.
- Runway to Riches (medium): become a famous model, then reach $1M+ in the bank without inheriting it. Route: our BitLife model answers for go-sees and Fashion Week, then the get rich in BitLife guide.
- Box Office Boss (hard, needs the Movie Director Expansion Pack): direct a hit film after a flop. Route: BitLife movie director guide.
- Globetrotter (easy): live in five countries before 40 and earn the Globetrotter ribbon, which the wiki ties to emigrating many times. Use the Nomad route above.
FAQ
What is the BitLife challenge this week?
As of November 4, 2026, none is confirmed. Candywriter’s Live Events hub shows nothing live, and the latest weekly challenge post we found on @BitLifeApp is Bro Athlete (Sep 9, 2026). We check again each week.
Can you still do old BitLife challenges?
Yes, through the Challenge Vault, which BitLife launched on iOS and Android on October 2, 2022. Per the wiki, it costs money to unlock.
Do you need God Mode or Boss Mode for challenges?
Not for most of them. In our top ten, the pro athlete goals (Dog Days of Summer, World BitCup) need a Job Pack or Boss Mode, Nerd’s glasses can depend on Bitizenship, and items like the Golden Passport or Golden Diploma only save time.
