The two most recently updated Limbus Company tier lists, from Pocket Gamer and Pocket Tactics (both updated October 17, 2026), agree on nine top Identities. Those nine include Haute Couture::The Crimson God of Le Rouge Sinclair, The House of Spiders: The Index Nursefather Yi Sang, The Thumb East Capo IIII Meursault and Heishou Pack – Mao Branch Adept Faust. Neither list ranks the two Identities Project Moon added on October 29 yet. Those are Haute Couture::Le Noir 3F Public Address Room Hong Lu and Haute Couture::Le Rouge King of Needleworks Heathcliff, and their rate-up runs until November 12, 01:00 UTC.
This guide lines the two lists up side by side, adds Project Moon’s official kit details for the new Identities, and works out your pull odds and the cost of the 200-pull pity. Checked October 30, 2026 at 05:50 UTC. At 05:46 UTC, 38,193 people were playing Limbus Company on Steam (Steam’s player-count API).

Limbus Company tier list: the Identities both lists rank highest
The two lists use different scales. Pocket Gamer’s top tier is S+, followed by S and A, and its update note says it covers version 1.117.0. Pocket Tactics runs from SS down to D. The table shows every Identity that is in the top tier of one list and at least the second tier of the other. The first nine are in the very top tier of both. Pocket Gamer lists a few Identities twice at different tiers, such as Spicebush Yi Sang and Pinky Apprentice Sinclair, so we left those out.
| Identity | Sinner | Pocket Gamer (Oct 17) | Pocket Tactics (Oct 17) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Haute Couture::The Crimson God of Le Rouge | Sinclair | S+ | SS |
| The House of Spiders: The Index Nursefather | Yi Sang | S+ | SS |
| The House of Spiders: The Middle Nursefather | Outis | S+ | SS |
| Blade of the House of Spiders | Ryōshū | S+ | SS |
| The Thumb East Capo IIII | Meursault | S+ | SS |
| Jeong’s Office Rep | Ishmael | S+ | SS |
| Kurokumo Clan Captain | Ishmael | S+ | SS |
| Heishou Pack – Mao Branch Adept | Faust | S+ | SS |
| Lobotomy E.G.O::Solemn Lament | Yi Sang | S+ | SS |
| The House of Spiders: The Thumb Nursefather | Rodion | S | SS |
| Dawn Office Fixer | Faust | S | SS |
| Dawn Office Rep | Gregor | S | SS |
| The Middle Big Brother | Heathcliff | S | SS |
| Lobotomy E.G.O::Faint Aroma & Solitude | Ryōshū | S | SS |
| Kurokumo Clan Wakashu | Heathcliff | S | SS |
| The House of Spiders: The Thumb Apprentice | Heathcliff | S+ | S |
| Heishou Pack – You Branch Adept | Heathcliff | S+ | S |
| T Corp. Class 3 Collection Staff | Don Quixote | S+ | S |
| Wild Hunt | Heathcliff | S+ | S |
| The Manager of La Manchaland | Don Quixote | S+ | S |
| Blade Lineage Mentor | Meursault | S+ | S |
The only Season 8 Identity in either top tier is Crimson God of Le Rouge Sinclair, added on October 15. The other Haute Couture Identities rank lower. Pocket Tactics puts Boutique du Rouge Ishmael in A, and Le Noir Footwear Hall Ryōshū and Alteration Shop Rodion in B. Pocket Gamer puts Le Noir Brand Manager Don Quixote in A.

Where the two tier lists disagree
Some Identities sit at the top of one list and near the bottom of the other. Pocket Tactics warns that its list “is subjective” and that Limbus Company “has no competitive meta”. A big gap usually means an Identity is strong in one team or game mode but not in general. Check what your team needs before you spend pulls on these:
| Identity | Pocket Gamer | Pocket Tactics |
|---|---|---|
| R Corp. 4th Pack Rabbit Heathcliff | S+ | B |
| The One Who Shall Grip Sinclair | S+ | B |
| Firefist Office Survivor Gregor | S+ | B |
| Lobotomy E.G.O::Red Eyes & Penitence Ryōshū | S+ | C |
| The Pequod Captain Ishmael | S+ | C |
| Full-Stop Office Fixer Heathcliff | S+ | A |
Pocket Gamer says R Corp. Rabbit Heathcliff is strong because he stacks Bleed, Fragile and Rupture, even though he can’t refresh his Ammo. If you already run a Bleed team, the higher rating probably fits your account better.
The October 29 Identities: Le Noir Hong Lu and Le Rouge Heathcliff
Project Moon announced both in its October 29 scheduled update notice and showed their skills in a separate New Identity Preview. The notice calls them Season 8 Identities and adds both to the regular extraction pool. The stats below come from the community wiki’s pages for each Identity, which match the official skill names and effects.

What Hong Lu’s kit does
All of Hong Lu’s skills deal more damage for every 2 Preservation Potency on himself, up to +30% on Skill 3, and spend Preservation Count for Coin Power. When he has “Time to Listen”, his Skill 2 and Skill 3 coins hit a second time. Those extra hits inflict Auditive Punishment and SP damage, plus Sloth Resist Down (Skill 2) or bonus Sloth damage (Skill 3). His Skill 3 also triggers Tremor Burst. He has a Guard skill, “Warning Announcement”, that only works with Assist Defense. On paper he’s a durable Tremor and Sloth piece for teams built around the Le Noir keyword, which already includes Le Noir Brand Manager Don Quixote (October 1) and Le Noir Footwear Hall Ryōshū (September 17).
What Heathcliff’s kit does
Heathcliff spends his own HP to keep his Pulsation Count topped up, gets Coin Power against targets with 6+ Bleed, and adds extra Pierce damage for every Needlekin stack he has. His Skill 3 inflicts Pierce Fragility and can turn Naildle into “Taxidermized”. His Skill 3-2 uses up his Needlekin to give Pierce DMG Up to himself and random allies, and Project Moon’s preview says it “prioritizes ‘Le Rouge’ Identities”. That makes him a natural partner for Crimson God of Le Rouge Sinclair, the one Season 8 Identity at the top of both lists, and Boutique du Rouge Ishmael. His HP is low (72) and several of his skills spend it, so expect him to need healing or shields. That last point is our reading of the kit, not a test result.
Which Limbus Company banner should you pull on?
The October 29 update started three Target Extractions, and all three end on November 12, 10:00 KST (01:00 UTC):
| Banner | Featured 3★ | Featured 3★ ranked by both lists |
|---|---|---|
| New Identity Target Extraction | Le Noir Hong Lu, Le Rouge Heathcliff | Not ranked yet (new) |
| Target Extraction: Yi Sang | 9 Yi Sang Identities, plus E.G.O Fell Bullet, Dimension Shredder (HE) and Wishing Cairn (TETH) | Index Nursefather Yi Sang (S+ / SS) |
| Target Extraction: The Thumb | Thumb Nursefather Rodion, Thumb Apprentice Heathcliff, Thumb East Soldato II Sinclair, Thumb East Capo IIII Meursault | Capo IIII Meursault (S+ / SS), Thumb Nursefather Rodion (S / SS), Thumb Apprentice Heathcliff (S+ / S) |
If you want the strongest proven picks, the Thumb banner is the best of the three: three of its four 3★ Identities are high on both lists. The Yi Sang banner is mostly worth it for Index Nursefather Yi Sang, but its 3★ rate is shared across nine Identities. Pull on the new banner if you’re building a Le Rouge Bleed team or a Le Noir team, or if you collect Season 8.
Limbus Company pull math: rates, pity and cost
According to the community wiki’s Extraction page, each extraction costs 130 Lunacy or one Extraction Ticket, and a 10-pull costs 1,300 Lunacy or one Decaextraction Ticket. A 3★ Identity has a 2.9% base rate. On Target Extractions, half of that (1.45%) goes to the featured 3★ Identities. On a New Identity banner, that 1.45% is split evenly between the new Identities, so each of the two new ones has a 0.725% chance per pull. These are our calculations from those rates:
| Pulls (Lunacy) | A specific new Identity (0.725%) | Either new Identity (1.45%) | A specific Thumb 3★ (0.3625%, if split evenly) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 (1,300) | 7.0% | 13.6% | 3.6% |
| 40 (5,200) | 25.3% | 44.2% | 13.5% |
| 100 (13,000) | 51.7% | 76.8% | 30.5% |
| 199 (25,870) | 76.5% | 94.5% | 51.5% |
| 200 (26,000) | Guaranteed: exchange 200 Ideality for any featured 3★ Identity or E.G.O | ||
The pity is worth more than the odds suggest. Even 100 pulls give you only about a coin flip at one specific new Identity. If you want Heathcliff or Hong Lu for certain, save 26,000 Lunacy before you start, so a bad run still ends in a guaranteed pick at 200. Ideality doesn’t carry over: the wiki says unused points turn into Thread when the banner closes.
Paid options from the same notice: the Target Extraction Pack gives four Decaextraction Tickets (40 pulls) for $21.99 (₩33,000 / ¥3,000), once per account. The Identity Growth Pack ($21.99, twice) gives a Takeoff Module – ID Uptie, 90 Identity Training Ticket IV and 40 Identity Training Ticket III. Both are on sale until November 12, 01:00 UTC. Compare that with the 300 Lunacy update gift, which is just over two pulls. For how other gacha games handle pity, see our BLEACH Mirrors High pull odds and spark guide and our Honkai: Star Rail banner schedule.
Is rerolling worth it in Limbus Company?
Pocket Gamer’s view is that rerolling is “basically worthless” because the tutorial is long. Pocket Tactics lists the steps if you want to try anyway: sign in as a guest, download the patch and use the skip button, claim the pre-registration mail, pull on the Welcome, Gregor and Standard banners, then use “Close Account” in the account settings to start over. The New Manager’s Welcome Extraction guarantees a 3★ Identity within its 20 discounted pulls (80 Lunacy each), according to the wiki. For a new account, saving for the 200-pull pity on one banner is usually a better plan than chasing a perfect first roll. If you’re starting a new gacha game this week, our Monster Hunter Outlanders beginner guide and Pokémon Champions tier list use the same sourced approach.
