There are nine Idle Champions codes for weekly chests that two separate code trackers agree are still live, each worth one Electrum Chest in Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms. The first ones run out on November 2 and the last on November 4. Below them are the long-running codes for Champion chests and the Celeste Starter Pack, plus five newer codes that only one tracker lists so far. Everything here was checked on November 1, 2026 at 20:50 UTC.
Each code works once per account and they all go into the same “Unlock a Locked Chest” box in the in-game shop, whether you play on Steam, Epic, PlayStation, Xbox, iOS or Android. The game also goes free on the Epic Games Store from November 5, so if you’re starting there, the redeem steps are further down.

Idle Champions codes that work right now (checked November 1, 2026)
The trackers we compared are the Incendar code tracker, which lists the date each code was added, and the long-running “CHESTS Combinations Codes 2026” Steam guide, which lists an expiry date for each weekly code (last updated October 28). The Idle Champions Wiki recommends both. A code is in this table only if both trackers list it and its expiry date hasn’t passed.

The trackers give expiry dates but no times. Codename runs its updates at noon studio time (GMT-7), and when it has published code end times, for example in a 2021 code post for its other idle game, they were noon Pacific too. That’s 19:00 UTC, so to be safe, redeem anything ending November 2 before 19:00 UTC that day.

Long-running codes (no end date listed)
These codes have lasted for months or years. Each is listed as working by at least two of the sources above, but none has a published end date, so one could stop working without warning.

Newest codes (unconfirmed: one tracker so far)
Incendar added these five codes between October 28 and October 31. None of them is in the Steam guide or on the wiki yet, and no tracker gives an end date, so treat them as unconfirmed. A dead code costs you nothing, though: the game just rejects it.

How to redeem Idle Champions codes
Codename added the Locked Chest system in 2019 so that codes work on every platform. The current steps are the same ones Penguin Random House gives for its Fiends & Foes pre-order code, which covers Steam, Epic, PlayStation, Xbox, iOS and Google Play:
- Finish the tutorial. The shop stays locked until you do.
- Open the shop (the $ button on the bottom bar).
- Choose “Unlock a Locked Chest” in the top-right corner.
- Type or paste the code. The dashes are only there to make codes easier to read. What you enter is the 12 or 16 characters, including any “!”.
- For a 16-character code (for example MAST-ERY4-TOMO-RROW), switch the box to 16 characters using the option in the lower-left corner first.
- Press Unlock. The chests are added to your chest inventory, ready to open.
On PlayStation and Xbox
On consoles, the Locked Chest is also the first chest on your inventory screen. In the store, press Triangle (PlayStation) or Y (Xbox) to open the combination screen, according to Codename’s original guide to the system.
On the Epic Games Store (free week from November 5)
Idle Champions is already free-to-play, but Epic lists it as a free game from November 5 at 16:00 UTC until November 12 at 16:00 UTC, according to Epic’s store data (checked November 1). If you add it to your Epic library during that week, the codes work the same way as on Steam. Codename hasn’t announced a login bonus pack for this Epic week yet. Past Epic weeks have come with one, so check the game’s Epic store page when the offer goes live. We’ll add it to our free games this week roundup if one appears.

Where new Idle Champions codes come from
The wiki’s Combinations page says most codes are given out during streams, and that weekly codes usually last about a week. In practice, new ones show up in these places:
- Codename’s Twitch streams at twitch.tv/cnegames, including the Thursday “Dev Insights” show the studio promotes in its patch notes.
- The official Idle Champions Discord (discord.gg/idlechampions), which Codename lists as an official community platform in its patch notes.
- Events and partners. Event launches sometimes bring a Champion code, like CARA-MONP-ARTY for Caramon. Partner codes are personal one-time codes, like the one Penguin Random House emails after November 24 to US readers who pre-order Fiends & Foes. That pack unlocks Kas and Farideh, with 20 Gold Chests plus 10 Gold Kas and 10 Gold Farideh Chests. The offer runs until November 24 at 11:59 PM ET.
- The newsletter. The wiki says newsletter codes are unique to you, so codes copied from someone else’s email won’t work.
What’s coming this week: Feast of the Moon and Extra Life
Codename’s October 28 update post says the Feast of the Moon event starts on November 4 at noon PCT, which is 19:00 UTC (2 PM EST, 11 AM PST). The studio stays on GMT-7 now that most of North America has moved its clocks back, so update times shifted by an hour for many players. Do Idle Champions codes work on Steam, Epic, PS5 and Xbox?
Yes. Since 2019, every platform has used the same Locked Chest box, and Penguin Random House’s current instructions name Steam, Epic, PlayStation, Xbox, iOS and Google Play. Each code can be used once per account.
Why does my Idle Champions code say it’s invalid?
Usually it has expired (weekly codes last about a week), you’ve already used it on this account, or a 16-character code was typed into the 12-character box. Codes like EYES-WIDE-OPEN also need a particular Champion unlocked first.
What is a locked chest code in Idle Champions?
It’s the game’s name for a redeem code, also called a “combination”. You type a 12 or 16 character phrase into the Locked Chest to get chests, Champions, skins or packs.
How often are new Idle Champions codes released?
Several times a week in busy periods. Incendar added 22 codes between October 21 and October 31, all of them for one Electrum Chest.
