You can’t breed Epic Wubbox in My Singing Monsters. Here’s how to get Epic Wubbox instead: buy it in the Market for 1 Diamond once the island reaches level 20. It arrives as an inactive box, and you power it up by boxing every Epic version of that island’s 15 monsters. On Gold Island you box 30 Epics in five phases. There are nine island versions, and each one needs a different set of Epics. This guide lists every required Epic and its breeding combo on each island, the timers, and the sales when those Epics can be bred.
Table of Contents
Quick answer
- Can you breed it? No. Epic Wubbox costs 1 Diamond in the Market at level 20. According to the wiki, it has no incubation time.
- What powers it up: the Epic versions of the island’s 15 monsters. On Plant, Cold, Air, Water and Earth Island that means 15 Natural Epics. Fire Haven and Fire Oasis need 7 Natural and 8 Fire Epics. Ethereal Island needs 15 Ethereal Epics, and Gold Island needs all 30 Natural Epics in five phases.
- Islands: Plant, Cold, Air, Water, Earth, Gold, Ethereal, Fire Haven and Fire Oasis. The wiki also lists the five matching Mirror Islands.
- Space: 4×4 tiles and 10 beds (25 on Ethereal Island).
- No zapping: you box grown monsters, even level 1 ones. The wiki and Big Blue Bubble’s FAQ don’t mention any time limit for filling it.
- Skip the breeding: each empty slot can be filled with Diamonds or Wildcards. That’s 50 Diamonds per Epic on the Natural Islands, or 750 for all 15.
- Available now? The Market box is always there, but Epics can only be bred during sales. At 06:36 UTC on November 6, 2026, the current sale (“The Beat Goes On”, November 5-9) was for Bone Island Epics. Bone Island has no Epic Wubbox.

How to get Epic Wubbox, step by step
- Reach level 20 on the island you want it on. Big Blue Bubble’s launch art for the Fire versions says Epic Wubbox is “available to buy in the Market at Level 20”.
- Buy it for 1 Diamond. According to the wiki, nothing in the Market has a lower Diamond price, and it’s the only monster you can get only with Diamonds. It goes straight to the island as a box.
- Breed the island’s Epics during sales, using the combos below. Big Blue Bubble’s support FAQ says Epic monsters can’t be used for breeding. So boxing one doesn’t take a parent away from your Breeding Structure.
- Box each Epic. Choose “Box It” when you place the monster from the Nursery, or select it on the island later. The FAQ says level 1 monsters can be boxed, and a boxed monster leaves the island permanently. If a monster isn’t needed, the game says “This Monster type is not required!”
- Check what’s missing with the Wubbox’s inventory button. Then choose “Power up” once all 15 are in.
The common Wubbox works differently: it takes common monsters and costs 75 million coins. See our guide to getting the regular Wubbox for that one.
Every Epic Wubbox version: release date, requirements and fill price
Epic Wubbox started on Plant Island and spread to nine islands. Each island has its own look. The wiki describes the inactive boxes as a tree house, a chalet, a hangar, a submarine, a steam shovel, a Greek temple, a laboratory, an ancient temple and an annealing kiln, in the order of the table below.
| Island | Added | Epics to box | Fill with Diamonds / Wildcards |
|---|---|---|---|
| Plant Island | Sep 22, 2021 (3.3.0) | 15 Natural Epics | 750 / 64 |
| Cold Island | Dec 8, 2021 (3.3.3) | 15 Natural Epics | 750 / 64 |
| Air Island | Mar 16, 2022 (3.4.1) | 15 Natural Epics | 750 / 64 |
| Water Island | Aug 3, 2022 (3.6.0) | 15 Natural Epics | 750 / 64 |
| Earth Island | Aug 3, 2022 (3.6.0) | 15 Natural Epics | 750 / 64 |
| Gold Island | Sep 6, 2023 (4.0.0) | 30 Natural Epics in 5 phases of 6 | 15,000 / 150 (3,000 / 30 per phase) |
| Ethereal Island | Apr 16, 2025 (4.8.0) | 15 Ethereal Epics | 27,000 / 300 |
| Fire Haven | Nov 27, 2024 (4.5.2) | 7 Natural + 8 Fire Epics | 1,125 / 84 |
| Fire Oasis | Nov 27, 2024 (4.5.2) | 7 Natural + 8 Fire Epics | 1,125 / 84 |
The Diamond price drops by a fixed amount for every Epic you’ve already boxed: 50 Diamonds each on the Natural Islands, 75 on the Fire Islands, 500 on Gold Island and 1,800 on Ethereal Island. Wildcards are priced per element instead: 2 per Natural element and 3 per Fire element. On Ethereal Island it’s 12 per element. That island’s Wildcard price went from 100 to 300 on October 14, 2026, according to the wiki.
Our tip: if you’re only missing an Epic or two, the box’s own fill price is far cheaper than buying the Epic from the Market. On Plant Island, the 15 Epics cost 150 to 750 Diamonds each during a sale, 4,650 in total. Filling all 15 slots costs 750.
Which Epic monsters each Epic Wubbox needs, with combos
Each table lists the 15 Epics that island’s box needs, with the combo that breeds each one there. We checked every list twice. The 15 Epics match the island’s first 15 common monsters on its wiki page. All 120 combos also appear on each Epic monster’s own wiki page for the same island. Timers come from each Epic’s wiki page, with the Enhanced Breeding Structure time in brackets. Epic breeding has no fixed recipe, so a pair only works while that Epic is on sale. Parent order doesn’t matter.

Ethereal Island Epic Wubbox
Ethereal Island needs all 15 Ethereal Epics. Ghazt, Grumpyre, Reebro, Jeeode and Humbug breed much faster here than on their Natural Islands. For example, Epic Ghazt takes 8h 20m here and 1d 6h on Plant Island. The times below are the Ethereal Island ones. The box also takes 25 beds instead of 10.
| Epic to box | Combo on Ethereal Island | Timer (enhanced) |
|---|---|---|
| Epic Ghazt | Boodoo + Dragong | 8h 20m (6h 15m) |
| Epic Grumpyre | Nebulob + Fung Pray | 7h 46m 40s (5h 50m) |
| Epic Reebro | Sox + Kazilleon | 9h 26m 40s (7h 5m) |
| Epic Jeeode | Jellbilly + Arackulele | 7h 13m 20s (5h 25m) |
| Epic Humbug | Whisp + Bellowfish | 8h 53m 20s (6h 40m) |
| Epic Whisp | Nebulob + Kazilleon | 1d 16h (1d 6h) |
| Epic Nebulob | Jellbilly + Boodoo | 1d 20h (1d 9h) |
| Epic Sox | Jellbilly + Bellowfish | 1d 12h (1d 3h) |
| Epic Jellbilly | Arackulele + Fung Pray | 1d 14h (1d 4h 30m) |
| Epic Arackulele | Sox + Dragong | 1d 16h (1d 6h) |
| Epic Boodoo | Kazilleon + Bellowfish | 1d 18h (1d 7h 30m) |
| Epic Kazilleon | Sox + Arackulele | 1d 14h (1d 4h 30m) |
| Epic Bellowfish | Whisp + Dragong | 1d 22h (1d 10h 30m) |
| Epic Dragong | Whisp + Fung Pray | 1d 12h (1d 3h) |
| Epic Fung Pray | Nebulob + Boodoo | 1d 20h (1d 9h) |
Gold Island Epic Wubbox
You don’t buy this version. According to the wiki, any level 15 Epic Wubbox from a Natural Island can be placed on Gold Island. It then fills in five phases of six Epics, and the phases must be done in this order. Big Blue Bubble’s 4.0.0 update post says each powered-up phase changes how it looks and sounds.
| Phase | Epics to box |
|---|---|
| 1. Plant | Epic Potbelly, Oaktopus, Furcorn, Reedling, Spunge, Entbrat |
| 2. Cold | Epic Mammott, Pango, Maw, Thumpies, Clamble, Deedge |
| 3. Air | Epic Tweedle, Dandidoo, Cybop, PomPom, Scups, Riff |
| 4. Water | Epic Toe Jammer, Quibble, Fwog, Congle, Bowgart, Shellbeat |
| 5. Earth | Epic Noggin, Shrubb, Drumpler, Pummel, T-Rox, Quarrister |
These 30 are exactly the Epics from the five Natural tables above, so breed them on whichever island suits you. Only level 15+ monsters can be placed on Gold Island, so each Epic has to reach level 15 before you can box it there. Big Blue Bubble’s FAQ warns that boxing a Gold Island monster also removes it from its home island. The wiki adds two more rules: a Gold Island Epic Wubbox earns no coins, and you can’t place another one until all five phases are powered up.
How long does it take to fill an Epic Wubbox?
Adding up the 15 breeding timers shows why one sale is rarely enough. These totals assume every attempt works the first time. A failed attempt adds the timer of whatever hatches instead.
| Island | Total breeding time (enhanced) | Fastest Epic | Slowest Epic |
|---|---|---|---|
| Plant Island | 11d 1h (8d 6h 45m) | Noggin 1h | Entbrat 1d 21h |
| Cold Island | 13d 5h (9d 21h 45m) | Toe Jammer 3h | Deedge 1d 17h |
| Air Island | 11d 7h (8d 11h 15m) | Noggin 1h | Riff 1d 15h |
| Water Island | 12d 19h (9d 14h 15m) | Noggin 1h | Shellbeat 1d 19h |
| Earth Island | 12d 1h (9d 45m) | Noggin 1h | Quarrister 1d 11h |
| Fire Haven | 14d 13h (10d 21h 45m) | Noggin 1h | Tring 1d 21h |
| Fire Oasis | 13d 11h (10d 2h 15m) | Toe Jammer 3h | Woolabee 1d 19h |
| Ethereal Island | 18d 13h 40m (13d 22h 15m) | Jeeode 7h 13m 20s | Bellowfish 1d 22h |
Most sales in the 2026 history below last four to eight days, and that’s shorter than any of these totals. So plan on filling one box over several sales, breeding in more than one structure at once, or paying Diamonds for the last few slots. The eggs also need time in the Nursery: the wiki gives each Epic one “Breeding/Incubation Time”, so expect the same timer again before you can box it. To raise your odds on each try, see the Wishing Torch notes in our My Singing Monsters breeding chart.
When can you breed the Epics for each island?
The box is always in the Market, but its Epics can only be bred during a sale. A sale can cover one island, one element or named monsters. The easiest time to fill a box is a sale for the whole island. In 2026 those were, according to the wiki’s Epic availability history:
| Epic Wubbox island | 2026 whole-island sales |
|---|---|
| Plant Island | Aug 26-Sep 2 (Island Spotlight), Oct 29-Nov 2 (“Everything Here Is Alive!”) |
| Cold Island | Sep 2-9 (Island Spotlight) |
| Air Island | Feb 12-16 (“Love is in the Air”), Sep 9-16 (Island Spotlight) |
| Water Island | Apr 2-7 (“Scrambled Eggs”), Sep 16-23 (Island Spotlight) |
| Earth Island | Sep 23-30 (Island Spotlight) |
| Fire Haven | Sep 23-30 (Island Spotlight) |
| Fire Oasis | May 21-25 (“Blown Away”), Sep 2-9 (Island Spotlight) |
| Ethereal Island | Jun 18-22 (“Ether Way”), Sep 9-16 (Island Spotlight) |
| Every island | Sep 30-Oct 7 (“Grand Finale”: all Epics) |
Element sales help too. In 2026 there were “First Water” (all Water Natural Epics, January 22-29), “Best Served Cold” (all Cold Natural Epics, March 19-26), “Green Thumb” (all Plant Natural Epics, April 23-30) and “Hot Topic” (all non-Expansion Fire Epics, February 19-26). Weekly “Secret Sauce” sales name a handful of Epics at a time.
What’s next (a pattern, not an announcement): no next sale had been announced when we checked the official My Singing Monsters Bluesky at 06:40 UTC on November 6. In each of the last three years, a Feast-Ember sale covered the Fire Island Epics in late November: November 23-27, 2023; November 27-December 2, 2024; and Fire Haven only on November 27-December 1, 2025. The Festival of Yay then ended with “The More the Merrier”, a sale on all Epics: December 20, 2023-January 8, 2024; December 23, 2024-January 6, 2025; and December 22, 2025-January 5, 2026. If that holds, late December is the best time to finish any Epic Wubbox. We’ll update this page when Big Blue Bubble confirms dates.
Is Epic Wubbox worth it?
Mostly for the song and the collection. The wiki says a powered-up Epic Wubbox has the highest maximum income of any monster, over 900,000 coins, and sells for 3,490,000 coins. But it takes 10 beds and a 4×4 spot, so the wiki doesn’t recommend it for farming coins. The wiki calls the common and especially the Rare Wubbox more efficient. Diamonds are the main cost if you fill slots, and our My Singing Monsters codes page lists the official free Diamond sources, since there are no working promo codes. Epic Wubbox isn’t on Wublin Island, Shugabush Island or Composer Island, and none of the Big Blue Bubble posts we found announce one there.
FAQ
How do you breed Epic Wubbox on Plant Island?
You can’t breed it on any island. Buy it in the Plant Island Market for 1 Diamond at level 20. Then box the 15 Plant Island Epics, from Epic Noggin (Entbrat + Fwog) to Epic Entbrat (T-Rox + Shrubb).
How much is Epic Wubbox?
1 Diamond. Powering it up with Diamonds instead of Epics costs 750 Diamonds on a Natural Island, 1,125 on Fire Haven or Fire Oasis, 15,000 on Gold Island and 27,000 on Ethereal Island.
How many Epic Wubboxes are there?
Nine island versions: Plant, Cold, Air, Water, Earth, Gold, Ethereal, Fire Haven and Fire Oasis. The wiki also lists the five Mirror Islands under the matching Natural versions.
How do you get the Gold Island Epic Wubbox?
Raise any Natural Island Epic Wubbox to level 15 and place it on Gold Island. Then box the 30 Natural Epics in order: Plant, Cold, Air, Water and Earth phases, six each.
Can you zap eggs into Epic Wubbox?
No. Big Blue Bubble’s FAQ says zapping only works for Wublins, Celestials and Vessels. Epic Wubbox takes hatched monsters, and level 1 is fine.
