Every GTA 6 weapon Rockstar has shown, from Jason’s Girardi ES9 to the Moreland 850, with the trailer or screenshot it comes from and which edition has it.

Seven GTA 6 guns have official names so far. Rockstar Games named three of them on its own site: Jason’s Girardi ES9 pistol, Lucia’s Klose K17 pistol and the Hawk & Little Morgan revolvers. The other four names, the Moreland 850 shotgun, the Duke 556 assault rifle, the Mustang .357 and the Nipper .38, can be read on screen or engraved on guns in Rockstar’s own trailers and art. Rockstar’s media also shows SMGs, hunting rifles, a grenade launcher, a light machine gun, a Molotov cocktail, a switchblade, a baseball bat and hammers, none of them named.

This GTA 6 weapons list only includes what Rockstar itself has shown, on the GTA VI site, in its four official videos and in Edge magazine’s preview, which Rockstar took part in. We checked it on November 1, 2026 at 17:45 UTC. We left out the 2022 leak, datamined lists and guesses about which real-world gun inspired each model. Grand Theft Auto VI launches on November 19, 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and the full arsenal will only be known then.

Quick answer

  • Named by Rockstar on its site (3): Girardi ES9 pistol (Jason), Klose K17 pistol (Lucia) and the Hawk & Little Morgan revolvers. Their personalized versions are Ultimate Edition extras.
  • Names visible in Rockstar’s footage and art (4): Moreland 850 Shotgun and Duke 556 Assault Rifle (pickups in An Extended Look), Mustang .357 (engraved revolver in an Ambrosia screenshot) and Nipper .38 (Lucia’s pistol on the cover art).
  • Shown but not named: SMGs, assault rifles and hunting rifles, pump and double-barrel shotguns, a grenade launcher, a light machine gun, a Molotov cocktail, a switchblade, a baseball bat and hammers.
  • Every copy bought before November 20: a palm-tree weapon pattern for “most guns” from the Vintage Vice City Pack.
  • How guns work: according to Edge, your arsenal is kept in your car’s trunk, people react to a gun in your hands, and police note which weapon you carried.

GTA 6 weapons list: every gun with an official name

As earlier GTA games did, GTA 6 uses made-up manufacturers (Girardi, Klose, Duke, Moreland). Here is each named gun and where its name appears.

Weapon Type Where the name appears How to get it
Girardi ES9 Pistol Rockstar’s Ultimate Edition text calls it “Jason’s Girardi ES9 pistol” Jason’s sidearm; engraved version is Ultimate only
Klose K17 Pistol Rockstar’s Ultimate Edition text calls it “Lucia’s Klose K17 pistol” Lucia’s sidearm; engraved version is Ultimate only
Hawk & Little Morgan revolvers Revolver, his-and-hers pair Rockstar’s Ultimate Edition list, with a “high-performance scope” Ultimate Edition
Moreland 850 Shotgun Shotgun On-screen pickup label in An Extended Look (around 4:27) Taken from a fallen attacker in a stash-house raid
Duke 556 Assault Rifle Assault rifle Picked up in An Extended Look’s final shootout (around 24:00-25:30), per GamesRadar Taken from a fallen attacker
Mustang .357 Revolver Engraved on a revolver in an official Ambrosia screenshot, per GamesRadar Not stated
Nipper .38 Compact pistol Readable on Lucia’s pistol in the official cover art, per PC Gamer and Mein-MMO Not stated

The Extended Look times are approximate. They come from GTA Boss’s shot-by-shot breakdown of Rockstar’s 26-minute video. GamesRadar’s GTA 6 weapons guide describes the Moreland and Duke pickups. On-screen names can still change before launch.

GTA 6 Ultimate Edition weapons

Rockstar’s edition selector marks two weapon bundles as Ultimate Edition only. Rockstar says the Ultimate Edition’s extras are “threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia’s story, with new items uncovered behind each chapter.” So expect to unlock them as you play, not all on day one.

  • Hawk & Little Morgan Revolvers: “His and hers versions of this powerful revolver with classic Vice City stylings sourced from the Vercetti Estate, including palm-tree-etched grips, engraved detailing, and high-performance scope.” In Rockstar’s image, one is engraved J. Duval and the other L. Caminos, next to a switchblade and a box of revolver ammo. Another image shows Jason aiming the scoped revolver.
  • Personalized Weapon Variants: “Personalized sidearms with detailed engravings for Jason’s Girardi ES9 pistol and Lucia’s Klose K17 pistol.” Rockstar’s image shows Jason’s pistol engraved “Sua Sponte” and Lucia’s in deep red with a pink rose and her signature.
  • Shitzu Squalo weapons crate: the Ultimate Edition speedboat comes “open-ocean-ready with an explosives-laden weapons crate.” Rockstar hasn’t said what’s inside. Our GTA 6 vehicles list covers the boat.

The Standard Edition is $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition $99.99 in the US. Our GTA 6 editions and pre-order bonuses guide compares everything else in each edition.

Vintage Vice City weapon pattern (every edition)

Every GTA 6 pre-order and purchase made before November 20, 2026 includes the Vintage Vice City Pack. That applies to the Standard and Ultimate Editions, digital or boxed, according to Rockstar’s pre-order announcement. Its weapon item is a skin, not a gun. Rockstar’s description: “Adorn most guns with a tropical pattern inspired by Tommy Vercetti’s iconic palm tree button-up.”

Rockstar’s images show the pattern on a compact submachine gun that Jason holds and on a pistol lying on the back seat of the ’55 Vapid Stanier. The pack’s Shore Court garage near Ocean Beach has a weapon locker, as does the Ultimate Edition’s Paradise Garage in Watson Bay.

Other GTA 6 weapons in Rockstar’s trailers

Rockstar has released four official videos: Trailer 1 (December 2023), Trailer 2 (May 6, 2025), An Extended Look (August 27, 2026) and the Launch Trailer (October 15, 2026). The weapons below appear in them but have no name yet.

Weapon type Where it appears
Pistols Jason uses one in Trailer 1’s closing liquor-store robbery and fires one from a vehicle in Trailer 2 (GamesRadar)
Submachine guns Jason and Lucia both carry SMGs in Trailer 2’s robbery scene; Jason’s has a red-dot sight (GamesRadar, PC Gamer)
Grenade launcher Lucia blows up several police cars with one in Trailer 2 (GamesRadar)
Light machine gun and gun racks A gun store owner shows off a machine gun with a large box magazine in Trailer 2, with racks of rifles, SMGs and shotguns behind him (PC Gamer)
Hammers A woman with a hammer in each hand in Trailer 1’s social media clips (GamesRadar)
Moreland 850 Shotgun An Extended Look, stash-house raid (around 4:27)
Pump-action shotgun An Extended Look: Lucia, carrying bags, fires and reloads a pump shotgun one-handed in a montage (around 9:09)
Rifle fired from a vehicle An Extended Look: Jason leans out of a vehicle to fire a rifle at a police pickup (around 14:07)
Molotov cocktail An Extended Look: Lucia torches the getaway car after helping Raul escape (around 15:16)
Shotgun at a shooting range An Extended Look: Lucia at an outdoor range with a “targets remaining” counter (around 18:31)
Duke 556 Assault Rifle An Extended Look: the final party and office shootout (around 24:00-25:30)

GamesRadar spotted something else in the Extended Look’s shootouts: some hit markers are yellow and others red. In slow-motion aiming, the yellow ones sit on knees, elbows and hands, which suggests non-lethal shots. Rockstar hasn’t explained this yet, so treat it as an outlet’s reading of the footage. Our GTA 6 launch trailer breakdown covers the newest video.

Weapons in Rockstar’s GTA 6 screenshots

The character and place galleries on Rockstar’s Only in Leonida pages show many more guns. These descriptions follow Rockstar’s own image captions:

How weapons work in GTA 6: what Rockstar told Edge

The best official detail on gunplay so far comes from Edge magazine’s GTA VI cover feature, published October 29, 2026. Edge watched Rockstar North’s Rob Nelson play and interviewed the studio. It reports:

  • Your arsenal lives in your car: “Your entire arsenal is stashed in the boot of the car.” Edge says that makes weapons quick to reach, since the Scooter Bros app can deliver one of your cars within seconds.
  • Weapons in car trunks: in the demo, Jason opened the trunk of an unattended police car, took out a shotgun and slung it on his back.
  • People react to how you carry a gun: “walking around holding a shotgun can be enough to disturb the peace.” A gun slung over your back is treated differently from one held in your hands. Crowds edge away or scatter, and some characters may challenge you.
  • Some NPCs fight back: Nelson says the team asked, “Who’s going to be aggressive? How many people are going to go for a weapon?” A driver you carjack may have “a weapon they are willing to use”.
  • Police remember your gun: the heat system tracks “what weapon you were carrying.” Edge adds, “Drop the weapon and another piece of evidence disappears.”
  • Shooting has consequences: “Those who shoot first and ask questions later will develop a violent profile.” That ties into the Criminal Profile system.

Our GTA 6 wanted system guide explains heat and witnesses. The GTA 6 features list covers everything else Rockstar confirmed.

Is there a weapon wheel in GTA 6?

Rockstar hasn’t explained the weapon wheel or how many guns you can carry at once. The Extended Look shows weapons being selected and swapped mid-fight. Claims of a fixed carry limit come from leaks and fan sites, so we’ve left them out. What Rockstar has confirmed through Edge is that your full arsenal is kept in your car’s trunk. We’ll add the real controls and limits after launch.

What about leaked GTA 6 weapon lists?

Lists with 30 or more “confirmed” GTA 6 guns mix Rockstar’s material with 2022 leak footage, names datamined from older games and guesses at real-world models. Rockstar hasn’t published a weapons list or a weapon count. This page only adds a weapon when Rockstar shows or names it. The full list arrives on November 19.
