Mitya needs 46 Shattered Stability Anchors, 168 Crystalfold and Charity books. Full Lv. 90 and talent totals, where to farm each, kit and pull advice.

To take Genshin Impact’s new 5-star Mitya from Level 1 to 90, you need 46 Shattered Stability Anchors from the new Wavebinder boss, 168 Crystalfold from Novokitezhgrad, a set of Vajrada Amethyst gems, 84 Chimeric enemy drops and 420,000 Mora. His talents use Charity books (Monday, Thursday and Sunday) and Mask of the Virtuous Doctor from the Heretic of the False Moon weekly boss. Mitya arrived with Version 7.2 on November 4, 2026, and his banner runs until November 24.

Below are the full ascension and talent totals, where to farm each material, a plain-English summary of his kit from HoYoverse’s own notes, and our view on whether he’s worth your Primogems. For the 7.2 release times, the full banner list and the event calendar, see our Genshin 7.2 release date, banners and events overview.

  • Ascension (Lv. 1 to 90): 420,000 Mora, 1 Vajrada Amethyst Sliver, 9 Fragments, 9 Chunks, 6 Gemstones, 46 Shattered Stability Anchor, 168 Crystalfold, 18 Chimeric Core, 30 Symbiotic Chimeric Nucleus, 36 Prime Chimeric Nexus.
  • All three talents to 10: 4,957,500 Mora, 9 Teachings / 63 Guide / 114 Philosophies of Charity, 18 Chimeric Core, 66 Symbiotic Chimeric Nucleus, 93 Prime Chimeric Nexus, 18 Mask of the Virtuous Doctor, 3 Crown of Insight.
  • Character EXP to Lv. 90: 8,362,650 EXP (about 419 Hero’s Wit) plus 1,673,400 Mora.
  • Grand total (Lv. 90 + 10/10/10): 7,050,900 Mora.
  • Free help: HoYoverse says the “Test Run” trial and Archon Quest Chapter VII: Act VI give enough ascension materials to reach Level 60 if you finish them in time.

Genshin Mitya ascension materials (Level 1 to 90)

These amounts come from the Genshin Impact Wiki (Fandom), read on November 4 at about 03:05 UTC, just after 7.2 went live. HoYoverse doesn’t print material names or amounts in its notices. Its official “Research Supplies” graphic for Mitya does show the items, though, and the four ascension icons match the wiki’s Vajrada Amethyst, Shattered Stability Anchor, Crystalfold and Chimeric Core. We’ll check the totals against the in-game ascension screen and fix anything that differs.

Ascension phase Mora Vajrada Amethyst Shattered Stability Anchor Crystalfold Chimeric drops
1 20,000 1 Sliver – 3 3 Chimeric Core
2 40,000 3 Fragment 2 10 15 Chimeric Core
3 60,000 6 Fragment 4 20 12 Symbiotic Chimeric Nucleus
4 80,000 3 Chunk 8 30 18 Symbiotic Chimeric Nucleus
5 100,000 6 Chunk 12 45 12 Prime Chimeric Nexus
6 120,000 6 Gemstone 20 60 24 Prime Chimeric Nexus
Total 420,000 1 / 9 / 9 / 6 46 168 18 / 30 / 36

On top of that, levelling him from 1 to 90 takes 8,362,650 character EXP, according to the wiki’s Character EXP table. That’s 419 Hero’s Wit if you use nothing else, plus 1,673,400 Mora spent on the EXP books.

Mitya talent materials (all three talents to Level 10)

Each talent needs the same materials. Levels 7 to 10 also need higher ascensions (5 and 6), so plan the Wavebinder runs first. The amounts below are per talent, from the wiki. The official graphic shows the same three items: a Charity book, a Chimeric drop and the Mask of the Virtuous Doctor.

Talent level Mora Charity book Chimeric drop Extra
1 to 2 12,500 3 Teachings 6 Chimeric Core –
2 to 3 17,500 2 Guide 3 Symbiotic Chimeric Nucleus –
3 to 4 25,000 4 Guide 4 Symbiotic Chimeric Nucleus –
4 to 5 30,000 6 Guide 6 Symbiotic Chimeric Nucleus –
5 to 6 37,500 9 Guide 9 Symbiotic Chimeric Nucleus –
6 to 7 120,000 4 Philosophies 4 Prime Chimeric Nexus 1 Mask of the Virtuous Doctor
7 to 8 260,000 6 Philosophies 6 Prime Chimeric Nexus 1 Mask of the Virtuous Doctor
8 to 9 450,000 12 Philosophies 9 Prime Chimeric Nexus 2 Mask of the Virtuous Doctor
9 to 10 700,000 16 Philosophies 12 Prime Chimeric Nexus 2 Mask + 1 Crown of Insight
One talent 1,652,500 3 / 21 / 38 6 / 22 / 31 6 Mask, 1 Crown
All three 4,957,500 9 / 63 / 114 18 / 66 / 93 18 Mask, 3 Crown

Add ascension and talents together and the Chimeric totals for a fully built Mitya are 36 Chimeric Core, 96 Symbiotic Chimeric Nucleus and 129 Prime Chimeric Nexus. You can craft up a tier at an Alchemy Table: the wiki lists 3 Chimeric Core plus 25 Mora for 1 Symbiotic Chimeric Nucleus, and 3 Guide to Charity plus 550 Mora for 1 Philosophies of Charity.

Where to farm Mitya’s materials

Material Where to get it When
Shattered Stability Anchor Wavebinder, the new normal boss in Novokitezhgrad, Snezhnaya (drops from Lv. 30+ per the wiki) Any day
Crystalfold Local specialty of Snezhnaya, found in Downtown Novokitezhgrad Open world
Vajrada Amethyst Bosses such as the Electro Hypostasis, Thunder Manifestation, Electro Regisvine, the Chimeric Winged Lion in Snezhnaya’s Volkodlak Tundra) and weekly bosses, including the Heretic of the False Moon; or convert other gems with Dust of Azoth Any day
Chimeric Core / Symbiotic Nucleus / Prime Nexus Aberrant Chimeric Monsters in Snezhnaya (Nucleus from Lv. 40+, Nexus from Lv. 60+). 7.2 adds the Chimeric Skorp and Chimeric Crocohoof Any day
Teachings / Guide / Philosophies of Charity Relics of the Fallen Grace domain, Fellfrost Peak, Snezhnaya Monday, Thursday, Sunday
Mask of the Virtuous Doctor Weekly boss Heretic of the False Moon (The Doctor) in the False Moon Institute, Ashveil Peak, Nod-Krai (Lv. 70+) Weekly
Crown of Insight Events, Offering systems, Paimon’s Bargains (1 a month) and Imaginarium Theater Limited

To reach the new areas, finish “Gunfire in the Silent Lands” in Archon Quest Chapter VII: Act I. HoYoverse’s 7.2 Update Details notice says this unlocks a Teleport Waypoint northeast of Fellfrost Peak, and that waypoint leads to Novokitezhgrad and Wingspan Peak.

What to farm first

  1. Do the free stuff first. The Test Run trial on his banner and Archon Quest Chapter VII: Act VI give ascension materials up to Level 60, according to HoYoverse. The Archon Quest rewards run until December 15, 14:59 server time.
  2. Collect Crystalfold early. At 168, it’s the biggest single number on the list.
  3. Fight Wavebinder whenever you have Resin. You need 46 Anchors, and 20 of them go into the last ascension alone.
  4. Farm Charity books on Monday, Thursday or Sunday while you work through the ascensions.
  5. Save your weekly boss runs for the Heretic of the False Moon. You need 6 Masks per talent, and it also drops Vajrada Amethyst Gemstones.

Mitya’s kit, summarized from HoYoverse’s notes

HoYoverse’s 7.2 Update Details call Mitya (title “Rules Set at Naught”) a 5-star Electro catalyst DPS “who enables the party to trigger Stellar-Conduct and deals Stellar-Conduct reaction DMG in different ways.” Here’s how the official Character Skill Showcase breaks it down:

  • Party passive: with Mitya in the party, Superconduct (Cryo plus Electro) turns into Stellar-Conduct. Stellar-Conduct creates Gradient Beacons that Mitya carries, up to 4 of them. He also raises the party’s base Stellar-Conduct damage based on his Elemental Mastery, and the Polestar Field follows your active character.
  • Elemental Skill, off-field (tap E): deals AoE damage at intervals. When he’s at the Beacon limit, extra Beacons are used up automatically for more damage. When the skill’s core leaves the field, it detonates the Beacons that are left.
  • Elemental Skill, on-field (hold E): hold Normal Attack afterwards to unleash Gradient Detonation, a special Charged Attack. The longer you hold, the more Beacons it consumes and the more hits it deals. HoYoverse suggests the combo Hold E, then Elemental Burst, then hold to consume every Beacon.
  • Elemental Burst (“Analysis: Gradient Theory”): AoE Electro damage that instantly creates 3 Beacons.
  • Passives: each Beacon raises the whole party’s Elemental Mastery in tap mode. The wiki puts it at 30 Elemental Mastery per Beacon. In hold mode, a single Stellar-Conduct reaction generates 4 Beacons over a few seconds. Beacons also last longer, and Mitya gains CRIT Rate for a while after creating one. Outside combat, his tap Skill clears certain rocks in Snezhnaya.

His signature weapon is the new 5-star catalyst Starsealed Edict, on the Epitome Invocation weapon banner until November 24. HoYoverse’s weapon overview gives it 542 base ATK and an 88.2% CRIT DMG substat at Level 90. Its passive adds 24% CRIT DMG and 48 Elemental Mastery for 20 seconds after an Elemental Skill. Each Elemental Reaction by a nearby party member adds a stack (up to 3) of 24 more Elemental Mastery, and each stack also gives 12% CRIT DMG on Stellar-Conduct in the Radiance: Stellar-Conduct state.

Mitya build: weapons, stats and team (our view)

This section is our own reading of the official kit text and talent scaling. It is not a tested build, and no official build exists. Expect refinements once players have spent time with him in the 7.2 Spiral Abyss and Stygian Onslaught.

  • Stats: Elemental Mastery matters more than usual. His party-wide Stellar-Conduct boost scales on it, and the wiki lists his Gradient Detonation and Beacon damage as a percentage of EM. His Burst scales on ATK plus EM. CRIT is the second priority: the 4th Ascension passive gives CRIT Rate, and the signature weapon brings CRIT DMG.
  • Weapons: Starsealed Edict is the clear best fit, since every line of its passive targets his kit. Without it, catalysts with an Elemental Mastery substat make sense, such as Sacrificial Fragments (4-star, EM substat, chance to reset the Skill cooldown) or the craftable Mappa Mare (EM substat, Elemental DMG Bonus after reactions).
  • Team: you need Cryo for Superconduct to turn into Stellar-Conduct. His banner boosts two Cryo 4-stars, Charlotte and Rosaria, plus the new 4-star Valeriy. HoYoverse describes Valeriy as a support who provides “Electro-related buffs and shields.”
  • Artifacts: we’re not naming a set until tested results from players or a named outlet are available. For now, the kit points to Elemental Mastery and CRIT main stats.

Should you pull for Mitya? (our view)

This is our opinion, based on the official 7.2 notes rather than hands-on play.

  • Pull if you already run Superconduct teams or want a flexible Electro DPS. He can work on-field or off-field, and he makes Stellar-Conduct a team-wide mechanic. The 7.2 content leans his way, too. From November 16, Spiral Abyss Floor 11 gives a 60% Electro DMG Bonus, and the moon blessing rewards Superconduct and Stellar-Conduct. From December 16, Floor 12’s first half gets +75% Stellar Glimmer DMG. HoYoverse’s notes also say Electro damage drains the Courage of Wavebinder, the new boss.
  • Consider skipping if you have no Cryo characters you like or you’re saving for a specific character. Mitya is event-exclusive and won’t go into the standard wish, so a rerun is the only other way to get him. Phase 2 brings Zibai and Linnea, plus a Chronicled Wish, so check our 7.2 banner breakdown before you spend.
  • Pity note: HoYoverse’s wish notice says the pity count for Character Event Wish and Character Event Wish-2 is shared. Wishes on Furina’s banner carry over to Mitya’s, and the other way round.

Banner timing: “Myriad Patterns Unfold” runs from the 7.2 update until November 24, 17:59 server time. That’s 09:59 UTC on Asia servers, 16:59 UTC on Europe and 22:59 UTC on America. Short on Primogems? The 7.2 maintenance and issue-fix compensation adds up to 600 Primogems for Adventure Rank 5+ players. Claim the issue-fix half by November 7, 06:00 UTC+8 (22:00 UTC on November 6). Our Genshin Impact codes page tracks every working code.

FAQ

What does Mitya need to ascend?

Vajrada Amethyst gems, 46 Shattered Stability Anchor (Wavebinder), 168 Crystalfold (Novokitezhgrad), Chimeric Core, Symbiotic Chimeric Nucleus and Prime Chimeric Nexus, and 420,000 Mora in total.

What talent books does Mitya use?

Charity books from the Relics of the Fallen Grace domain in Snezhnaya, available on Monday, Thursday and Sunday. His weekly boss material is Mask of the Virtuous Doctor.

Where is Wavebinder?

In Novokitezhgrad, the new 7.2 area of Snezhnaya, according to HoYoverse’s update notes.

How long is Mitya’s banner?

From the 7.2 update on November 4 until November 24, 17:59 server time.

Is Mitya free-to-play friendly?

In our view, yes for materials: everything except the weekly Mask is farmable any day or on a fixed schedule, and the Test Run and Archon Quest cover you to Level 60. Much of his damage scales on Elemental Mastery, which artifacts provide, but his best weapon is a limited 5-star.
