The PS Store page for Football Manager 27 Console (publisher SEGA) shows “11/10/2026 04:00 PM UTC” on the US store and 10/11/2026 on the UK store. Microsoft’s catalog entry for the Xbox version carries the same timestamp: 2026-11-10, 16:00 UTC. SI’s own pages only say the game launches “from 10 November”, so treat 16:00 UTC as the store time until SI or SEGA confirm it. The PC version’s full release is the same day. Steam lists it as “Nov 10, 2026”. PC players have had the Launch Preview since October 29: free until November 3, then for pre-purchasers and Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass members. Is Football Manager 27 Console on Xbox Game Pass?
Yes. Xbox Wire’s November 3 Game Pass post lists “Football Manager 2027 Console (Cloud, XBOX Series X|S, and PC) – November 10” for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, with the line “Available on day one with XBOX Game Pass!” Game Pass Premium isn’t named on that entry, while it is on several other games in the same post. There’s one detail many players miss: SI’s console FAQ says PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate subscribers “can also play FM27 Console via the Microsoft Store or Xbox PC app.” So a Game Pass member can choose between the full PC game and the controller-focused Console edition on a Windows PC. Xbox Wire also lists Cloud for the Console edition.
When SI first announced the date on September 29, it said FM27 Console (Xbox/PS5) “including Game Pass Console subscribers” would launch from November 10.
Football Manager 27 on PS5: date, boxed copy and price
- Digital: November 10, 2026, 16:00 UTC per the PS Store listing.
- Physical: November 20, 2026. SI’s FAQ: “the physical version on PlayStation 5 launches 20 November 2026.” Only the PC gets a boxed copy on November 10.
- Price: not on the PS Store yet. We won’t guess one. For reference, the PC version is $59.99 on Steam, or $53.99 with the 10% pre-purchase discount SI mentions. That’s the PC price, not the PS5 price.
- PS Plus: no FM27 Console offer has been announced. The previous game, FM26 Console, joined the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium catalog on April 21, 2026, according to SI’s news post.

What’s new in FM27 Console
Recruitment
SI has redesigned the Player Database, Transfer and Contract Negotiation and Recruitment Focus screens for controllers. There’s a new “find similar players to…” search, so you can quickly find a replacement when a key player leaves. Your backroom staff also give live advice during transfer negotiations.

Match Preparation
SI says Match Preparation is “making its debut in FM27 Console”. Before each match, a message in your inbox suggests how to prepare for the opponent, and you can set up to 3 sessions covering In Possession, Out of Possession and Set Pieces. SI’s example: if you plan to sit deep and counter, an Out of Possession session helps your team carry out that plan. Navigation, controls and performance
- Information Display (Preferences): Larger for a TV across the room, Smaller for a screen close to you.
- Button Mapping “has been reintroduced with major upgrades”: swap navigation and scrolling between the left and right sticks, and customise the action buttons.
- Updated top navigation, reduced input latency and better performance across the interface.
Match days, modes and returning features
- Match engine and match day presentation upgrades.
- Shuffle Draft, the fantasy draft mode, is on console from day one and can be played online or offline.
- Tactical Tweaks plus a refined Shouts system for in-game changes from the touchline.
- Pass Maps and Heat Maps are back for post-match analysis.
- Cup Draws return, and you can speed up or slow down the draw.
- Indonesian is a playable language on console for the first time.

- Prices for FM27 Console on PS5 and Xbox.
- Save carry-over. FM26 Console could continue saves from FM23 Console and FM24 Console, according to SI’s April news post. SI hasn’t said whether FM27 Console imports FM26 Console saves.
- Cross-play. FM26 Console had cross-play between Xbox and PS5 in Online Career, per the same post. SI hasn’t confirmed it for FM27 Console.
- A confirmed unlock time from SI or SEGA, and whether you can pre-load before launch.
