RCM Games posts each part of the event as a separate listing on the game’s Roblox page. These are the start and end times from those listings. US clocks switch back to standard time on November 1, so the later times use EST and PST.

The Act 2 listing ends on October 27, but the Act 2 patch notes don’t say anything is removed then. The Act 1 notes promised “new stock in 3 days,” so treat October 27 as a possible shop change rather than the end of Act 2.
How to do the Phantom Train quest (The Hollow)
Dead Rails is one of the nine “Roaming the Hollow” games on Roblox’s official poster for The Hollow, Roblox’s Halloween 2026 event. Its quest is the Phantom Train. The patch notes sum it up: “Discover the stain. Board the Phantom Train.” These steps follow the wiki’s Phantom Train and Phantom Key pages, and several creator walkthroughs on YouTube show the same route.
- Start a normal run and watch the first 20 km. A dark stain (a shadow on the ground) always spawns somewhere in that stretch. The wiki calls it a guaranteed find.
- Walk into the stain. A vampire jumps out, pulls himself into the wall and drops the first Phantom Key.
- Open the padlock next to your train. Use the key on it to open the rift, then go through to board the Phantom Train.
- Stop 1, the Town. Walk through the cabins to the first padlocked door. Outside is a town full of citizens who turn into zombies as soon as you step off. Kill the Banker Zombie for the Bank Combo, open the bank vault and take the second Phantom Key. More waves of zombies spawn once the bank is open, so clear the street before you loot.
- Stop 2, Stillwater Prison. The next locked door leads to a copy of Stillwater Prison where the Covenant Knights are zombies. The third Phantom Key is stuck in the stone where Excalibur normally sits. The front gate stays shut until you beat Goliath’s brother, the boss.
- Ride to the end of the line. Open the last door and keep going through the cabins. They fill with peaceful NPC versions of the game’s monsters, then minibosses and distorted cabins. At the end you meet the Phantom Conductor, who sends you back to your run.
- Claim your rewards. The game awards the official “The Hollow: Quest Badge” (“Meet the Phantom Conductor”), shows “You got off at the right stop,” and unlocks the purple title Ticket Holder. Then go to The Hollow’s hub to claim the Cowboy Hat of the Dead. Creator guides say the quest also gives 10 Hollow Tickets.
Two tips from the wiki: any loot you find on the Phantom Train (silver plates and cups, revolvers, ammo) disappears when you leave unless it’s in your inventory. The three Phantom Keys can’t be sold or deposited, so you can’t save them for a later run.

Undertaker’s Shop: every item and its Grave Silver price
The Undertaker’s Shop is a handcart in the lobby. It sells perks, titles and supplies for Grave Silver only, and supplies go into your Craft Stash for your next run. Perks are permanent, and you have one perk slot. Prices are from the wiki’s Undertaker’s Shop and Perks pages. The wiki hasn’t listed prices for the Act 2 titles and supplies yet.

Buying all four Act 2 perks costs 245 Grave Silver. Everything from Act 1 with a listed price comes to 385. If you only want one perk, pick it by how you play. Moonstruck and Night Owl are built for night fights, Ward of Salt helps in vampire-heavy stretches, and Gallows Humor only pays off in a squad that’s losing players. Perk tiers 2 and 3 cost Bonds (50 and 100), not Grave Silver, according to the wiki.

How to get Grave Silver fast
- Clear Restless Graves. These round graveyards spawn in the Wild at least once every 10 km, but not after the last safezone. Kill one of the 1-4 guard zombies and 15 more climb out of the graves. That’s 16-19 zombies in total, and each drops Grave Silver. The wiki’s tip: pull the zombies off the platform before you kill them, because coins can fall through its floor.
- Loot buildings. The wiki also lists abandoned buildings, banks, the Boxing Gym and the Tesla Lab (after summoning Tesla) as Grave Silver sources.
- Win Invasions. Hunter’s Moon fights pay Bonds and Grave Silver (table below). There’s a daily cap on Invasion rewards, so don’t count on them as your main farm.
Dead Rails Invasions and the Hunter’s Moon, explained
Act 2 added Invasions. During a new night cycle called the Hunter’s Moon, a player can drop into another party’s run as a random zombie type. Invaders start in a ghost phase, flying around to pick a spawn point. The Runner has a lunge, the Brute has a charge and the Bloater has a gas burst, and dealing damage fills a Frenzy Meter that makes them stronger. Survivors get one lantern per party member, and each down costs a lantern. You start an Invasion from the new Play menu, which also adds matchmaking across servers.
A hotfix on October 24 changed the rules. Invaders now only spawn into runs that are at least 20 km in, have 3 lifeblood instead of 5, and must wait 20 seconds between fades. It also set new payouts:

The wiki adds that a Hunter’s Moon lasts 7 minutes 45 seconds. When it starts, lightning strikes your train and drops a supply crate with ammo and two revolvers, so grab it before the invader finds you.

Edison’s Revenge is back (Act 1)
Last year’s Halloween mode returned on October 20. It’s a 40 km run, half the normal length, through four Halloween biomes: Edison’s Revenge, Blood Desert, Alien Desert (with UFOs dropping aliens on you) and the Halloween biome. It ends with a short battle against Nikola Tesla at the Mexican border. The wiki says a care package at the start includes a Maxim Gun and 3 coal, and a win pays 10 Bonds.

Are there Dead Rails Halloween codes?
None that we could confirm. The Act 1 and Act 2 patch notes and the official event listings mention no codes (checked October 26, 09:00 UTC). The free Halloween reward this year is the Hollow hat from the Phantom Train quest.
Which Halloween classes get masteries in Act 3?
The patch notes only say “Halloween Class Masteries” and don’t name the classes. Last year’s Halloween event (October 18 to November 3, 2025) added the Frankenstein and Ghost classes, according to that year’s official listing.
Is this the same as the Dead Rails Halloween Spotlight?
