Color Block Jam Level 88, 537, 881 + 8 More: Video Solutions

Colorful toy bricks on a dark puzzle board, two chained with padlocks, one blue brick sliding out a door
Written by Maya

Matched YouTube walkthroughs and board notes for 11 Color Block Jam hard levels, from 88 to 1077, including the three level 88 boards. Checked Nov 2.

Stuck on a Color Block Jam level? Bing and Google autocomplete keep returning the same hard ones: 88, 537, 459, 796, 881, 1008 and 1077, plus 893, 1000, 1012 and 1059. This guide covers all eleven. For each level we pulled four to seven YouTube walkthroughs, compared their frames to make sure they show the same board, and wrote down what’s on it. Color Block Jam level 88 is the one to check first, because we found three different boards for it.

That matters for every level here. Rollic has reworked levels since launch (the July 1, 2026 update promised “updated levels”), and several creators film the same board under two level numbers. So before you copy anyone’s moves, match the board on your screen to the description below.

Quick answer

  • Levels covered: 88, 459, 537, 796, 881, 893, 1000, 1008, 1012, 1059 and 1077, each with four to seven matched walkthroughs (checked November 2, 2026, 15:20 UTC).
  • Level 88 has three versions. The most-watched videos (a year old) show an H-shaped board with locked blocks across the middle. Two videos from about two months ago show an H-shaped board with arrow blocks, and one from a month ago shows a tall rectangular board.
  • Level 1000 has two versions. Most videos show a padlock-and-keys board. CherieGaming’s and sonicOring’s year-old videos show a staircase board full of wooden crates.
  • The other nine are stable. For 459, 537, 796, 881, 893, 1008, 1012, 1059 and 1077, videos from a year ago and from the last few months show the same board.
  • Every level is timed. App Store reviewers say a win pays 40 coins (80 if you watch an ad), and more time costs 900 coins for 20 extra seconds.

How to read the boards below

We haven’t played these levels ourselves. The descriptions come from the walkthrough frames, and these are the terms we use:

  • Numbered wooden crates: brown crate-patterned blocks with a number on them. In the videos the number counts down during the run.
  • Black numbered blocks: dark blocks with a number and a chain pattern. Their numbers also count down as other blocks leave.
  • Numbered ice: pale blue strips on a door with a number. They count down, and the door opens when they’re gone.
  • Arrow blocks: blocks with a two-way arrow. They only slide along that line (up-down or left-right).
  • Striped gates, chains and keys: some doors are barred or chained, with a padlock number, and keys sit on nearby blocks.
  • Clock tokens and red dynamite: some blocks carry a clock token showing +5, +10, +20, +35 or +80. Others carry a small red dynamite marker with a number.

When a creator’s title shows a second number in brackets, like “Level 881 (1799)”, their video was filmed on that second level and shows the same board. Video ages and view counts are as YouTube showed them on November 2, 2026.

1059 A comb-shaped board with three prongs hanging down at the bottom, each ending in an exit. The outer prongs hold numbered wooden crates and the middle exit has numbered ice. Some videos we left out because they show a different board from every other video for the same level. sonicOring’s level 881 and 893 videos have step-shaped walls and black numbered blocks. CherieGaming’s 1008 and 1012 videos were filmed on levels 1915 and 1933. If your board matches one of those, those are the videos to watch.

Level-by-level tips

These notes come from the walkthrough frames and show where the pressure is. For the exact order, follow a video of your board.

Color Block Jam level 88

Check your version first, because the three boards play nothing alike. On the older H-shaped board, the locked band across the middle splits the board in two. On the arrow-block H board, the green block only slides left and right and the red one only slides up and down. The numbered ice on the side and bottom doors also counts down in these videos, so some exits can’t be used at the start. Here’s CherieGaming’s walkthrough of the arrow-block version, which includes a replay:

Color Block Jam level 881

The hollow square in the middle is a wall, not a block, so everything has to go around it. The orange exit at the bottom starts chained with a padlock showing 4, and keys sit on purple blocks above it. By the last frame of GamingUnam’s run the chain is gone and the exit is open. Kamel Tutorial’s video is one of the newest for this board:

Color Block Jam levels 459 and 537

Level 459 is about the big teal 3×3 block. It sits in the middle of the arch with arrow blocks below it, and it’s still on the board late in most of the videos. Level 537 is a tight, wide board: the walls jutting in from the left and top right leave narrow lanes, and two of its doors sit behind striped gates.

Color Block Jam levels 796 and 893

On 796, the narrow waist of the hourglass is the bottleneck, and the numbered crates on both sides count down through the whole run. The orange arrow block in the centre only moves up and down. On 893, the staircase edge makes the lower left cramped, and the blue arrow block only slides vertically.

Color Block Jam levels 1000, 1008 and 1012

These three mix several obstacles at once. On 1000, keys sit on blocks next to the padlocked ones, and the black numbered block at the bottom drops from 8 to 6 between Crazy Games Walkthrough’s first two frames. On 1008, the two black blocks in the top towers (showing 9 and 5 in SpielenGaming’s frames) fill the corners, and the big teal block sits right between them. Level 1012 carries three clock tokens (+5, +10 and +35), and the middle top door is behind numbered ice.

Color Block Jam levels 1059 and 1077

On 1059, the three bottom prongs are the only exits at the bottom. The outer prongs start with numbered crates and the middle one with numbered ice. On 1077, the notch at the top left eats space, and the bottom-right door sits behind a striped gate. Its +80 clock token is the biggest number we saw on any clock token in these videos.

Beating the clock

Every level has a timer, and that’s where most of the frustration comes from, judging by the App Store reviews. One reviewer says hard levels can give “only one minute to complete the level”. Another says a “Very Hard” level might give about a minute and a half. When time runs out, the paid continue costs 900 coins for 20 more seconds, according to a reviewer. A win pays 40 coins, or 80 if you watch an ad, which matches the level-complete screens in Crazy Games Walkthrough’s videos (“X2 Coins 80” or “Continue 40”).

Lives are the other limit. Reviewers count 5 lives, each taking 30 minutes to come back. One reviewer reports that from about level 130, every other level is a hard one. Failed attempts still teach you something, because the board stays the same between tries. Many walkthroughs are short and fast, so pause on the first frame to compare boards, then play the video at reduced speed and copy the order one move at a time.

Boosters and coins

Booster What we know Source
Hammer Breaks a block (“Break the block” in Rollic’s store art) Google Play screenshots
Vacuum Removes a block; can switch the gates on levels with moving gates App Store review, August 2025
Frozen clock First button on the booster bar Google Play screenshots
Rainbow Newer power-up; one reviewer says it can break gate-switch levels App Store review, August 2025

The same August 2025 reviewer says some power-ups start at 1,900 coins, and warns that on levels with numbered blocks that must leave in order, using one can switch the gates and leave the level unwinnable. On those levels, try a clean run with a video before you spend coins.

FAQ

How do I beat Color Block Jam level 88?

Match your board first. If it’s an H shape with a locked band across the middle, follow CherieGaming’s or sonicOring’s year-old videos. If it’s an H shape with arrow blocks, follow CherieGaming’s or Einstein Gamer’s videos from about two months ago. If it’s a tall rectangle on a stepped base, follow CherieGaming’s video from a month ago.

Why does my level look different from the video?

Rollic has changed some levels, and the same board can appear under more than one level number. Creators flag this with a second number in brackets, like “Level 893 (1780)”. Our table lists the version each video shows.

Are there Color Block Jam cheats?

There are no cheat codes. Your options are boosters bought with coins, replays (the board doesn’t change between attempts) and a video of your exact board. We don’t link modded apps. They break the game’s terms and can carry malware.

Can you play Color Block Jam on PC?

Yes. Google Play lists the game for Android and Windows, so you can play it on a PC with Google Play Games for PC.

Is Color Block Jam the same as Block Out?

No. Both have you slide colored blocks out through matching doors, but Block Out! – Color Sort Puzzle is from Grand Games. Color Block Jam is from Rollic, and the two games’ levels are different.
