For PvP, keep Element Enhancement and add survival: Steel Barrier plus either Delayed Explosion and Curse: Tree or Arctic Armor and Hibernation, depending on the source.

According to MetaBot’s Sorcerer page (global client build 0.0.4387.0), the Sorcerer learns 12 active skills between level 1 and 16, 10 passives and 13 Stigma skills. Every attack has a 20 m range, and most of them hit up to four enemies within 4 m of the target. The active kit:

Fire Mark (passive) marks anything your Fire attacks hit for 5 s, which is what Blaze needs. Robe of Earth (+105 Critical Hit at 50% MP) and Grace of Enhancement (+20% PvE Damage Boost at 25% MP) only work while your MP stays high. AION 2 Sorcerer PvE build
Among 150 top Sorcerers MetaBot tracks (level 45, highest combat power per region), 96-100% have every active skill except Defiance on the bar (MetaBot does not report Defiance). MetaBot flags this as a low sample, and the snapshot showed as updated 28 days ago, so treat it as what high-end players ran, not a ranking.
Skill priority
Aion 2 Maps’ Sorcerer guide (updated October 18, built from the client plus creator guides) takes Hellfire, Firestorm, Bittercold Wind, Blaze, Wish of Concentration and Flame Arrow to 10 first. Then come Robe of Flame and Fire Mark, Winter’s Shackles, Defiance and Ice Chain. MetaBot’s top players train the same core highest (average skill level 13.1-13.8).
Best Sorcerer Stigmas for PvE
Slots open at levels 22, 27, 32 and 37. MetaBot counts 29 Stigma points at level 45; Aion 2 Maps counts 30, adding the point from the Ascension quest that opens the first slot. Both sources pick the same four Stigmas.

Where the sources split:
- Stigma levels: Aion 2 Maps spends the level-45 points as Element Enhancement 10 and the other three at 5. Element Enhancement 10 also makes Robe of Flame count 1.5 times; at 5, Delayed Explosion restores 200 MP. MetaBot’s top players average 9.9, 6.2, 6 and 4.2.
- The tooltip: Aion 2 Maps says Element Enhancement actually raises Fire and Water Boost, and that the in-game wording “Attack” names a different stat. MetaBot prints the tooltip text.
- Cold Storm’s slot: it is the least settled pick (43%). Aion 2 Maps swaps it for Steel Barrier in Transcendence, Nightmare or a fight you are still learning, and for Divine Burst when your party fails stagger checks. Glacial Smite replaces a ground skill on bosses that keep moving.

AION 2 Sorcerer macro and rotation
Aion 2 Maps’ setup, built from creator guides, uses three held keys: Flame Arrow on left click for MP, one macro key, and Hellfire alone on its own key, so it fires at full charge the moment it is ready.
- Macro entry 1 (damage line, 10 ms per entry): Bittercold Wind, Blaze, Firestorm and Wish of Concentration, with Bittercold Wind firing first.
- Macro entry 2: Winter’s Shackles.
- By hand: Element Enhancement, then Delayed Explosion just before each Hellfire; Fire Wall and Cold Storm under the boss while it stands still.
- When it applies: Flame Scattershot while the boss is staggered, Defiance when you are stunned or knocked down.
Keep Hellfire out of the macro, which fires it at the first charge step. It charges in three steps (0.5, 1 and 1.5 s), and MetaBot’s level-1 tooltip puts the range at 1,137 to 3,412 base damage. Aion 2 Maps reports that on Transcendence bosses, top global Sorcerers fire about 7 Hellfires a minute (4.5 to 8.1), almost all at full charge.
Out of MP? Let go of the macro and fire a few Flame Arrows. For trash packs, Aion 2 Maps keeps a second skill preset with Ice Chain in the macro.

AION 2 Sorcerer PvP build
PvP Sorcerers control a target from 20 m and land Hellfire while it cannot move. Use a separate skill preset, which keeps its own skill and Stigma levels.

Both keep Element Enhancement and Steel Barrier. MetaBot spends the other two slots on burst and control; Aion 2 Maps adds two defensive Stigmas, because a Sorcerer has no dash. Hibernation gives 5 s of immunity, and ending it early restores 20% of Max HP and breaks stuns: a second crowd-control break next to Defiance.
The kill combo: Frost (a 50% freeze chance on players, 3 s), then Frost Burst on the frozen target. MetaBot’s PvP build maxes Frost and Frost Burst; Aion 2 Maps raises Revitalization Contract, Grace of Resistance and Absorb Essence to 10 for status resist and chance. MetaBot’s Theostone pick is Seal for PvP and AoE Fire for PvE.

AION 2 Sorcerer leveling build (1-45)
Both sources level with Fire first. MetaBot’s leveling build maxes Flame Arrow, Ice Chain, Firestorm, Bittercold Wind, Blaze, Winter’s Shackles, Hellfire, Fire Mark and Robe of Flame, with Wish of Concentration at 7 and Frost at 5. Aion 2 Maps takes Flame Arrow and Ice Chain first, then Firestorm, then Blaze and Bittercold Wind, all five to 8 by level 22. Hellfire arrives at 14: give it its own key.
Stigmas while leveling: MetaBot slots Element Enhancement at 22, Delayed Explosion at 27, Fire Wall at 32 and Cold Storm at 37. Aion 2 Maps also starts with Element Enhancement, then adds the other three in any order, each to 5 as the next slot opens.
Dying too often solo? Aion 2 Maps slots Steel Barrier in place of Delayed Explosion. The first Stigma slot also needs the Ascension quest The One Who Hears the Voice, and skill and Stigma resets are free, so respec at 45.

Best Sorcerer stats: Attack or Damage Boost?
- MetaBot (editorial): Attack, Critical Hit, MP, Accuracy, HP. MP counts as a damage stat because Robe of Earth’s Critical Hit needs half your MP.
- Aion 2 Maps: Weapon Damage Boost first (it multiplies separately), then Front Attack Damage Boost and Critical Damage Boost about equally, plus cooldown reduction for more Hellfires. It adds that Critical Hit stops helping past 50% crit against Expedition and Transcendence bosses, based on global parses.
On gear, MetaBot’s top-player read shows the Spiritforged Spellbook as the most worn main hand, enchanted to +9.6 on average.
Sorcerer or Spiritmaster: which caster should you play?
