Sony patents Back Button Attachment for DualSense

Sony patents Back Button Attachment for DualSense

Sony has patented a Back-Button Attachment type add-on device for DualSense. A system like this was also built for PlayStation 4, so I think the DualSense one will be entirely similar. This add-on makes gaming easier for disabled gamers and makes buttons easier to reach if you have small hands. The patent also states that you can remap all the buttons on the back I think it was the same case with the DualShock 4 Back Button Attachment Add-On.

The Back Button attachment for DualShock 4 costs around 29.99$, so I’m assuming the price point for this one will be around that target. Personally, I think that they should have just tried to make the DualShock 4 version of Back Button Attachment compatible with the DualSense, but unfortunately, that might not be the case, and everyone who previously bought these back button attachments will have to buy a new one for the DualSense. I wonder what types of upgrades will these back button attachments have – or will they be completely the same? Well, to find that out, we gotta wait for the official announcement first. But I am glad this is a thing since it makes gaming easier and more accessible.
