Recently in an interview with Gaming Bolt, Josef Fares ruled out the possibility of a Switch Port of his upcoming game It Takes Two; in the interview, he stated, “No, we don’t have [any plans],’ Fares told GamingBolt. “Not sure we can do it, actually. I’m not sure because people forget sometimes, we do split-screen games with a lot of s**t in it. Like, there’s a lot of s**t going on. Trust me; it takes a lot of effort to make this work on the old-gen consoles because there’s so much going on.”
Basically, he is not sure that they can make a Nintendo Switch Port work since there’s a lot of stuff going on in It Takes Two. It takes the developers a lot of effort to make the game work on last-gen consoles because there’s so much stuff going on, and last-gen consoles are a bit more powerful than Nintendo Switch, so that it might be technically impossible for them.

It Takes Two currently has a release date of 26 March 2021, and it is planned to release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, and PC.
