Schedule 1 Console Commands: Full List, Money, Items and XP

Written by Vera

Turn on Console in Settings, Game tab, then press the tilde key. Every Schedule 1 command for v0.4.7: cash, XP, item IDs, regions, teleports and weather.

Schedule 1 console commands are built into the game, so you don’t need a mod or a trainer. Load your save, press Escape, open Settings > Game, switch on the Console toggle, then press the tilde key (~) to open the command line. After that, changecash 10000 adds $10,000 in cash, addxp 500 adds XP and give <item ID> <amount> spawns items. The toggle is per save, so you have to turn it on again in every save you want to use it in.

This list is up to date for v0.4.7 “Special Customers”, the current Steam build, released on October 9, 2026 (checked October 28, 2026, 13:15 UTC). Command names come from TVGS’s own patch notes on Steam. The example syntax and item IDs come from the community-run Schedule 1 Wiki console page (Fandom), because TVGS doesn’t publish a command reference outside the game. Where a command appears in the patch notes but nobody has documented its arguments, we say so instead of guessing.

Quick answer: Schedule 1 console commands people use most

  • Enable: Escape > Settings > Game tab > Console toggle (once per save), then press ~.
  • Cash: changecash 10000. Bank (ATM/online) balance: changebalance 10000.
  • XP: addxp 500
  • Items: give wateringcan 1, give speedgrow 10, give goldenskateboard (the amount defaults to 1).
  • Unlock a region: setregionunlocked westville
  • Clear trash: cleartrash (TVGS added it to help with frame drops caused by lots of trash).
  • Achievements: the Schedule 1 Wiki and PC Gamer both say commands don’t disable Steam achievements. TVGS hasn’t said anything about this.
  • Full in-game list: the View Commands button under the Console toggle lists every command with an example.

How to enable console commands in Schedule 1

The console is off by default and is switched on separately for each save file:

  1. Load the save you want to use commands in.
  2. Press Escape and open Settings. The Game tab is the first page.
  3. At the top of the Game tab, click the empty circle next to Console to switch it on.
  4. Close the menu and press the tilde key (~), usually left of the 1 key, to open the command line.
  5. Type a command and press Enter. Since v0.4.3 (February 2, 2026) you can press the arrow key to bring back commands you used before, according to TVGS’s patch notes.

The same Game tab has a View Commands button under the toggle. It opens the game’s own list of commands with examples. If a command in this guide doesn’t work after an update, check that list first, because it always matches the build you’re running. Destructoid notes that opening the console doesn’t pause the game, so find a quiet spot before you type.

Schedule 1 console not opening?

  • Is the toggle on for this save? It’s per save, so a new save or another slot starts with the console off.
  • Keyboard layout: on non-US keyboards the tilde may be printed on a different key. Try the key just left of 1, which is where Destructoid’s guide places it.
  • PC only: Schedule 1 is a Windows game on Steam. There’s no console (PS5, Xbox or Switch) version to type commands into.

Do Schedule 1 commands disable achievements or saves?

Achievements: the Schedule 1 Wiki warns that turning on commands does not disable achievement progress, so commands can unlock Steam achievements you didn’t earn. PC Gamer’s guide says the same. Neither TVGS’s patch notes nor its Steam page say anything about achievements and commands, so treat this as reported by players and outlets, not as an official rule. If you care about clean achievements, use commands in a separate save.

Saves: no official source says commands flag or block a save. Commands do change your save for good, though (cash, XP, owned properties, quest states), and the save command forces a save on the spot. Copy your save folder before you experiment. Since v0.4.0 the game also backs up your save automatically the first time you load it on a new game version (Settings > Other), but that won’t undo a command.

Schedule 1 money and XP commands

changebalance <amount> changebalance 10000 Adds that much to your ATM/online balance

Cash and the bank balance are separate pools of money, so add to whichever one you’re short of. Both commands add to what you already have rather than setting a total.

These are official, built-in commands. You don’t need trainers, cheat tables or downloaded “unlockers”, and we don’t recommend them: third-party downloads like these can carry malware. FAQ

How do I enable console commands in Schedule 1?

In your save, press Escape, open Settings, go to the Game tab and switch on Console. Then press ~ to open the command line. You have to do this once in each save.

What is the Schedule 1 money command?

changecash 10000 adds $10,000 in cash, and changebalance 10000 adds $10,000 to your bank (ATM/online) balance. Use any amount you like.

How do I get items with commands in Schedule 1?

Type give, the item ID and an amount, for example give speedgrow 10. Most item IDs are the item’s name in lowercase with no spaces or hyphens (Extra Long-Life Soil is extralonglifesoil), but some differ: Plant Trimmers is trimmers. The wiki’s Console page has the full list.

How do I clear trash in Schedule 1?

Type cleartrash. TVGS added it in April 2025 for players whose frame rate drops because of lots of trash items.

Do Schedule 1 console commands work in multiplayer?

TVGS hasn’t documented how the console works in co-op, so we can’t confirm which commands work for hosts or for other players. forcesleep affects all players, according to PC Gamer.
