Rust’s November force wipe is due Thursday, Nov 5 at 19:00 GMT (2 PM EST, 11 AM PST). Times for every region, BP wipe status and the console date.

The next Rust force wipe, for November 2026, is due on Thursday, November 5, 2026 at 19:00 GMT (19:00 UTC). That is 2 PM EST, 1 PM CST and 11 AM PST in the US, and 8 PM CET in central Europe. Facepunch has not posted a November-specific announcement yet (checked October 30, 05:00 UTC). The date comes from its first-Thursday rule, which its own server wiki uses as the default wipe schedule, and its Halloween devblog says the event runs “until November 5th”, the same day.

The UTC time is one hour later than October’s wipe because the UK moved from BST to GMT on October 25. US clocks go back on November 1, so for US, UK and most European players the local time is the same as last month. Players in Asia, Australia and South America get the wipe one or two hours later on the clock.

Quick answer

  • PC force wipe: Thursday, November 5, 2026, 19:00 GMT / 19:00 UTC (first Thursday of the month, Facepunch’s default).
  • US times: 2 PM EST, 1 PM CST, 12 PM MST, 11 AM PST.
  • Blueprint wipe: not announced. Facepunch has not said whether November’s update wipes blueprints.
  • Console (Rust Console Edition): a different schedule, the last Thursday at 6 PM UTC, so November 26, 2026.
  • Halloween event: Facepunch says it ends November 5, the same day as the wipe.
  • Next PC force wipe after that: Thursday, December 3, 2026, by the same first-Thursday rule.

When is the Rust force wipe in November 2026?

Facepunch hasn’t posted a November date yet, but three official sources point to the same day and time:

  • The server wipe timer. Facepunch’s Rust server wiki says the in-game wipe timer’s “default configuration aligns with force wipes”. It defines monthly servers as wiping on the “First Thursday every month at 19:00 (London time)”.
  • The regular update time. When Facepunch delayed its Naval update in December 2025, its devblog “Getting It Right” said the wipe-only patch would “go live at the regular time of 19:00 GMT”. The Christmas devblog also listed the “January Patch + wipe released on January 1st @ 1900GMT”.
  • The Halloween end date. The Halloween 2026 devblog says this year’s event “will run until November 5th”. Facepunch’s Discord Zombie Wumpus offer ends the same day.

Facepunch has kept to the pattern all year. Every monthly devblog in 2026 so far went out on the first Thursday of the month, according to the posting times on its Steam news feed:

Month Update (devblog) Date Steam post time (UTC)
January Surviving 12 Years Thu Jan 1 18:48
February Naval Update Thu Feb 5 18:43
March Shipshape Thu Mar 5 18:43
April Spring Clean Thu Apr 2 17:46
May Upgrade Hard, Raid Harder Thu May 7 17:45
June Built Different Thu Jun 4 17:44
July Common Ground Thu Jul 2 17:44
August Power Trip Thu Aug 6 17:44
September Breach and Clear Thu Sep 3 17:26
October Livestock Thu Oct 1 17:31
November Not announced yet Thu Nov 5 (expected) Around 18:45 if the winter pattern holds

The post times shift by one hour twice a year, in step with UK clocks. In GMT months (January to March), the devblogs went up at about 18:45 UTC. In BST months (April to October), they went up at about 17:30 to 17:45 UTC. Either way, that is about 15 to 35 minutes before 19:00 London time. So the patch notes are usually readable just before servers start wiping, but Facepunch doesn’t promise an exact minute. Big servers can take a while to come back.

Rust force wipe time in every time zone

Here’s the November 5 wipe converted from 19:00 London time (GMT), next to October’s wipe for comparison. October 1 was 19:00 BST, which was 18:00 UTC.

Sydney (AEDT) Fri 6:00 AM Fri 4:00 AM (AEST) +2 hours
New Zealand (NZDT) Fri 8:00 AM Fri 7:00 AM +1 hour

Why the time moves

Facepunch schedules by London time, not UTC. Its Halloween devblog said so directly: UK clocks went back on the weekend of October 25, “moving from BST to GMT”, and players should “keep an eye out for any client and server announcements that may be time dependant”. The US switches a week later, on November 1, so by November 5 both changes are done. That is why the time looks unchanged in New York or Berlin but an hour later in UTC. Sydney moves two hours because Australia’s eastern states started daylight saving on October 4.

Is the November 2026 wipe a blueprint wipe?

Facepunch hasn’t said. A force wipe always resets the map, so every base goes. Blueprints are a separate decision that Facepunch announces in the devblog when it happens.

  • The last all-server blueprint wipe we found was a year ago, in “Pivot or Die” (November 6, 2025): “Today, we’re wiping all Blueprints, wiping all servers,” alongside cheaper tech tree costs. On whether that would become monthly, Facepunch wrote: “Maybe. We’re not committing to anything yet.”
  • None of the 2026 monthly devblogs on Steam announced a blueprint wipe.
  • Community servers set their own blueprint rules. Facepunch’s Premium Servers post (March 2025) says “community-run officials may have their own separate blueprint wipe schedules”, and points players to each server’s Discord or website.

Until the November devblog is out, treat a blueprint wipe as unconfirmed. Check the patch notes on wipe day, or your server’s Discord if you play on a community server.

What’s in the Rust November update?

As of October 30, Facepunch hasn’t published a November devblog, a name or a teaser on its news page. The October update did leave a few official pointers to what comes next:

  • The new render pipeline may become the default. The Livestock devblog said the Rust Render Pipeline toggle in the experimental settings “is only going to be here for the first month”. Facepunch added: “Hopefully, after the next patch, we’ll be able to remove this fully and have RRP as the default”. It promised more performance gains “in the near future”.
  • More secure servers. October switched six more Facepunch servers to require TPM and Secure Boot. Facepunch’s stated goal is “to make it global for all servers in Rust”. It hasn’t given a date.
  • Livestock follow-ups. Cows, sheep, stables and the Biofuel Generator are still new. October’s notes describe ongoing tuning, for example heavy fuse decay scaling with server population, and Facepunch says it will “continue to monitor this and make adjustments”.
  • Halloween ends. The Candy Hunt, Frankenstein pet and portal content run until November 5. Our Rust Halloween 2026 guide covers what to finish before then.

Facepunch tests big features on the Staging Branch first, which it describes as “a separate version of Rust where new updates and features are tested before being released”. Anything we can’t confirm from Facepunch stays out of this post. We’ll add the official patch highlights once the devblog is live.

When does Rust Console Edition wipe in November?

Console runs on its own schedule. Double Eleven’s official “Wen wipe?” page (last updated September 24, 2026) says all official monthly servers wipe “on the last Thursday of every month at 6PM UTC”, in every region.

Version Rule November 2026 date US Eastern / Pacific
PC (Facepunch force wipe) First Thursday, 19:00 London time Thu Nov 5, 19:00 UTC 2 PM EST / 11 AM PST
Rust Console Edition (official monthly servers) Last Thursday, 18:00 UTC Thu Nov 26, 18:00 UTC 1 PM EST / 10 AM PST

The October console wipe was due yesterday, October 29. November’s falls on US Thanksgiving Day.

Community servers: weekly and biweekly wipes

On force wipe day every PC server’s map resets, community servers included. Between force wipes, community servers follow their own cycle. They label it with a browser tag (monthly, biweekly or weekly), and Facepunch’s wiki gives defaults for each:

  • Monthly: first Thursday at 19:00 London time, so November 5.
  • Biweekly: first and third Thursday at 19:00 London time, so November 5 and November 19.
  • Weekly: every Thursday at 19:00 London time, so November 5, 12, 19 and 26.

Server owners can change the day, hour and time zone, so the server’s own announcement wins. To check in game, look at the laptop on the nuclear warhead at the bottom of the Nuclear Missile Silo. Its “REPOPULATION UNIT SURVIVAL TEST” timer counts down to that server’s next wipe. About 24 hours before a wipe, servers also start two endgame events: F-15E jets fly over the island, and Bradley APCs patrol the roads with extra scientists.

FAQ

What time does Rust wipe on November 5, 2026?

19:00 GMT, which is 19:00 UTC, 2 PM EST and 11 AM PST. That’s Facepunch’s regular update time, and its devblog has usually appeared on Steam 15 to 35 minutes earlier.

Is the Rust force wipe always the first Thursday?

That’s the default in Facepunch’s own wipe timer, and every 2026 update so far has landed on a first Thursday. Facepunch can move a date, though. In December 2025 it delayed the Naval content but still wiped on the regular Thursday, so confirm on the devblog.

Will blueprints wipe in November?

Not announced. Facepunch’s last all-server blueprint wipe was November 2025, and it said monthly blueprint wipes were “maybe”, not a commitment.

When is the next Rust console wipe?

Thursday, November 26, 2026 at 6 PM UTC (1 PM EST, 10 AM PST), on Double Eleven’s last-Thursday schedule.
