We found no NBA 2K27 locker code posted by 2K itself for November 2026. The one code that code trackers list as live is MT-HALLOWEEN-PIXEL-CUT, which they say gives an NBA Pixel Cut Option Pack in MyTEAM. Fan accounts first shared it on October 31, and 2K hasn’t stated an expiry for it. The only official, dated codes running right now are the personal ones from 2K’s Season 2 Twitch Drops, and you can earn those until November 13.
We checked every source on this page on November 4, 2026, between 14:15 and 14:35 UTC. Here a code counts as “official” only when 2K posted it on its own channels: the @NBA2K or @NBA2KMyTEAM accounts on X, nba.2k.com, or 2K’s Steam news. Codes that only fan accounts and dated code trackers list are marked “tracker-reported”. We can’t test codes in the game, so a tracker-reported code may already have stopped working.
- Official code for November so far: none found on 2K’s X accounts, Steam news or nba.2k.com as of 14:35 UTC on November 4.

Why only one code? NBA 2K27 codes have so far appeared around events: the Halloween code, an NBA tip-off code in October, and a few around launch in September. Trackers say most codes last about a week, but 2K rarely states an end date. During NBA 2K26, the official @NBA2KMyTEAM account posted codes for Halloween, the New Year (that one said it expired January 9), Lunar New Year, Memorial Day and every game of the NBA Finals. If 2K27 follows the same pattern, more codes will arrive around holidays and big NBA dates.

How to redeem NBA 2K27 locker codes
These steps follow 2K’s own instructions on its Twitch Drops page at nba.2k.com/twitch-drops. You need to have started NBA 2K27 at least once and set up your NBA 2K Account. Codes aren’t case-sensitive, but you have to type the hyphens.
Redeem a locker code in MyTEAM
- Start NBA 2K27 and choose MyTEAM from the main menu.
- Open the Market tab.
- Select Locker Codes.
- Type the code, hyphens included, and confirm.
Redeem a locker code in MyCAREER
- Load into MyCAREER and go into The City.
- Open the Options/Quit menu with the pause button.
- Scroll down to Locker Codes, type the code and confirm.
Insider Gaming says you can also redeem codes away from your console in the MyNBA2K companion app on iOS and Android, by logging in with the same platform account and tapping “Locker Code”. Rewards then show up the next time you play.

Free NBA 2K27 codes from Season 2 Twitch Drops (until November 13)
This is the one source of 2K27 codes with official dates right now. 2K’s Twitch Drops page lists the NBA 2K27 Season 2 campaign from October 16, 2026, 8 AM PT to November 13, 2026, 6 AM PT. It covers NBA 2K27 streams that have Drops enabled. According to the page, the one-hour tier includes 1-hour 2XP Coins for MyTEAM and MyCAREER, a MyTEAM Super Pack that can’t be auctioned, and MyCAREER Skill Boosts. Every Drop is delivered as a personal locker code:
- Have both accounts ready: 2K says you need an NBA 2K Account and a Twitch account.
- Watch a Drops-enabled NBA 2K27 stream on Twitch until the Drop completes.
- Claim it in your Twitch Inventory within 24 hours. 2K’s page warns you to do this promptly.
- Log in on nba.2k.com/twitch-drops with the same Twitch account. 2K says the locker code can take up to 48 hours to appear there.
- Check the expiry date next to your code on that page, then redeem it in the game before that date. 2K adds that you can earn the code before you own the game. Redeeming it needs NBA 2K27 and an NBA 2K Account.
Twitch Drop codes are personal, so a code from someone else’s screenshot won’t work for you.

Every NBA 2K27 code we found was first shared by fan accounts or creators, not 2K’s own posts. The dates below are the dates of the earliest public posts we could find. “Expired” means at least two dated trackers list the code as expired.

One mix-up to avoid: NBA-2K27-COVER-ATHLETES was an NBA 2K26 code. Fan accounts shared it on July 22, 2026 to mark the 2K27 cover reveal, so it won’t do anything in NBA 2K27. In September, @NBA2K also posted a launch code that only the first 50 players could redeem. Codes like that are used up within minutes, so they don’t appear in any list.

What locker code rewards are worth
Most NBA 2K27 codes give MyTEAM packs, option packs or ball drops. Packs and ball drops contain random items, so two players who redeem the same code can get very different cards. Option packs let you choose one or more cards from a fixed set. A free code is a small bonus on top of what the game already gives you for playing, and it doesn’t guarantee a top card.
- Cards from codes count in The Exchange. 2K’s MyTEAM Courtside Report says any card that meets an Exchange requirement qualifies, “regardless of whether you got it from a pack, the Auction House, a reward, or a Locker Code.” So a duplicate from a code still has a use.
- The Season 2 Premier Exchange takes them too. According to 2K’s Season 2 Courtside Report, you can trade any player card except Free Agents toward this Season’s Pixel Cut Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, including cards from locker codes.
- The free Season 2 track is the bigger earner. The same report lists Diamond Jason Kidd at MyTEAM Level 1 and Pixel Cut Karl-Anthony Towns at Level 40. The MyPLAYER rewards include a Dirk Nowitzki GOAT Build at Level 33, the “Ankle Taker” clown costume at Level 39 and a +1 Cap Breaker at Level 40. 2K says XP from The City, MyCAREER and MyTEAM all counts toward it.
Locker code and VC scams to avoid
- Never pay for a locker code. 2K gives every locker code away free through its own channels, streams and events. A code for sale is either an old public one or fake.
- There’s no such thing as a “free VC generator”. Sites and videos that promise unlimited VC or MT for a survey, an app download or your login details are phishing for your account.
- Don’t buy accounts or VC “services”. Third-party sellers and account sharing put your PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo or Steam account and your NBA 2K Account at risk. You also have no way to get help if a seller takes your money.
- Type codes only in the game, the MyNBA2K app or nba.2k.com. No real locker code asks you to enter a password on another website.
- Follow official channels for new codes: @NBA2K and @NBA2KMyTEAM on X, the official NBA 2K Discord (discord.gg/nba2k, linked from 2K’s Steam posts) and 2K’s Twitch streams.

Why is my NBA 2K27 locker code not working?
The usual reasons are that the code has expired, it’s a code for NBA 2K26 (like NBA-2K27-COVER-ATHLETES), it had a limited number of redemptions, or you left out the hyphens. Each code also works only once per account. Twitch Drop codes belong to the account that earned them.
Do NBA 2K27 locker codes give free VC?
