The first Monster Hunter Outlanders events to end are Rhythm of Maple on November 12 at 14:59 UTC and the Co-op Squad event on November 13. The big one is November 27: Departure Gifts (10 free Featured Contracts) and the Midori and Rhodes banners all close that day. Below are all the Monster Hunter Outlanders events running since the October 28 launch, sorted by end date, with the times converted to US and other time zones, what each one pays, and how many free pulls they add up to.
- Next deadline: Rhythm of Maple, Nov 12, 14:59:59 UTC (6:59 AM PST, 9:59 AM EST). Spend your Companion Coins in the Maple Vault before then. It holds 750 Rutacoins.
- Biggest deadline: Nov 27. The Midori Featured banner, the Rhodes Rotating banner and Autumn Refrain end at 02:59:59 UTC (6:59 PM PST on Nov 26). Departure Gifts end at 04:59:59 server time.
- Free pulls from the launch events: 25 Featured Contracts and 65 Standard Contracts, plus SSR Pyro, SSR Luka, SR Ryunosuke and SR Luxheart.
- Never expire: Adventurer’s Chronicles, Surging Lightning, Rank Rush, Let the Journey Begin! and Beginner’s Recruitment.
- New since launch day: a Discord Quest (avatar decoration, ends Dec 4), guild community events to Nov 30 and a content creation contest to Nov 13.

Monster Hunter Outlanders events by end date
The official notes give some end times in UTC and some in “Server Time”. They don’t say which UTC offset the server time uses on each server. Co-op Squad daily quests reset at 05:00, so the 04:59:59 server-time endings fall just before a daily reset. For those two events, go by the countdown on the in-game event page. US clocks go back on November 1, so every November time below is in PST/EST.

How many free pulls do the launch events give?
The developer says Season 0, “Twin Suns & Land of Radiance”, gives enough recruitment items for “more than 400 recruits in total” (Season 0 rewards preview). It doesn’t break that number down. These are the Contracts the launch notes name, event by event:
| Source | Featured Contracts | Standard Contracts | Adventurers | Ends |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Adventurer’s Chronicles | 10 | 20 | SSR Pyro (Assault) | Permanent |
| Departure Gifts (daily login) | 10 | – | – | Nov 27, 04:59:59 server time |
| No. 1 chart bonus (mailbox at Adventurer Level 4) | 5 | – | – | Mailbox |
| Surging Lightning | – | 5 | SSR Luka (Assault) | Permanent |
| Rank Rush | – | 40 | SR Ryunosuke (Support), SR Luxheart (Disruptor) | Permanent |
| Total | 25 | 65 | 2 SSR + 2 SR |
Only one of those sources runs out: Departure Gifts. The official notes say its sign-in rewards “unlock day by day” when you log in during the event. They don’t say how many days of logins it takes, so log in every day rather than counting on catching up later. The 5-Contract chart bonus was announced when the game hit No. 1 on the App Store. It sits in your mailbox once you reach Adventurer Level 4 (official post). The Season 0 preview also names SSR Buddy Kojiro as an event-mission reward. Pre-registration milestone rewards come on top of all this. Our Monster Hunter Outlanders release date and pre-registration rewards guide lists them.
Rutacoins come from other places: up to 750 from Rhythm of Maple, 30 from Twitch Drops, and Co-op Squad and guild rewards. The 150-Rutacoin prizes in the community contests go to drawn winners only, so they aren’t guaranteed.
Is the Midori banner worth it before November 27?
The two limited banners aren’t equally urgent. The launch notes say Midori, the Assault SSR (Long Sword) on “Featured – Autumn Refrain”, “will not be added to Standard Recruitment in the future”. So November 27 at 02:59:59 UTC is your only announced window for her. Rhodes, the Assault SSR (Hammer) on “Rotating – Pounding Smith”, “can also be obtained at standard odds through Standard Recruitment” after his banner ends. If you’re short on Contracts, Midori is the one with a hard deadline. The launch notes don’t list pity counts for either banner, so check the in-game rates page before you spend.
Beginner’s Recruitment never expires. It takes Standard Contracts, guarantees an SSR within 50 recruits and makes 10-pulls 20% cheaper. Doing it first doesn’t cost you anything on the limited banners.
Rhythm of Maple: Companion Coins and the Maple Vault
Rhythm of Maple ends first, on November 12 at 14:59:59 UTC. You earn Companion Coins three ways: the “Maple Quintet” challenge stages, the “Symphony of Strings” leaderboard and the “Handcrafted Gifts” event quests. The coins are spent in the Maple Vault. It stocks 750 Rutacoins, the “Interested” and “Curtain Call” stickers and upgrade rewards, according to the official launch article. The developer’s event preview adds that you can take part “even if you haven’t recruited Midori in your squad”. Unspent coins aren’t mentioned anywhere in the notes, so the safe move is to empty the Vault before the deadline.
Co-op Squad: the one-time Journey Quests
Co-op Squad runs until November 13 at 04:59:59 server time. You form a squad with friends and earn Co-op Points from “Daily Quests” and “Journey Quests”. Point totals unlock Rutacoins, the “Assemble” sticker pack, the “Heart of Love” gesture and upgrade rewards. Daily Quests reset at 05:00 every day. Journey Quests can only be completed once during the event. The launch notes say server data can’t be transferred between the North America, Japan and Europe servers, so start on the same server as the friends you want to squad with.
Guild events: Hunt as One and the community draws

Hunt as One runs Oct 29-Nov 30; both server-wide milestones unlock for every player. Image: Proxima Beta / Capcom
The guild campaign “Hunt as One” runs from October 29 to November 30. Every guild on a server adds to one shared goal, and the rewards unlock for all players on that server:
| Milestone | Server-wide goal | Reward (all players) |
|---|---|---|
| Guild Milestone I | Combined Guild rank of 500,000 | Sticker “Let’s Set Off” |
| Guild Milestone II | Combined Guild rank of 1,000,000 | Honorary Title “Let’s Set Off” |
Guild members raise their guild’s rank by earning EXP from Daily Supplies, according to the official overview graphic. The in-game event “Let the Journey Begin!” is permanent: join a guild and clear its quests for Rutacoins, Contracts, Guild Emblems and upgrade rewards.
Alongside the campaign, the developer runs four community events. These are prize draws, not guaranteed rewards:
- Adventurer Self-Introduction Card (deadline Nov 30): fill in the official card template, post it on X with #MHOutlanders and tag the official account. 5 winners get a $20 Amazon gift card (official post).
- Guild Special Recruitment (Oct 30-Nov 30, on the official Discord): post a guild recruitment thread to enter a draw. Guild leaders who max out their guild level and send in a screenshot of the achievement screen enter a second draw and get a special Discord role (official post).
- Moments in Aesoland (Oct 30-Nov 30): share guild moments on social media with #MHOutlanders #MHOGuild, or in the dedicated Discord channel. 10 winners per method (20 in total) get 150 Rutacoins each (official post).
- Content Creation Event (see below).
Discord Quest and Twitch Drops

The Discord Quest went live on October 30 at 12:00 UTC (official post). Open the Discord app on your phone, find the Monster Hunter Outlanders Quest and watch the video. That unlocks an MHO Avatar Decoration for your Discord profile. The quest ends on December 4 (UTC), and the graphic notes that “end times vary by region”. The official post only mentions the Discord decoration, with no in-game item.
Twitch Drops run “through November 26” (official post). Watch any Monster Hunter Outlanders stream on Twitch: 15 minutes earns 5 Dewberry, 30 minutes 2,000 Zenny and 60 minutes 30 Rutacoins. The post says only Level Infinite accounts are eligible.
Content Creation Event: 150 Rutacoins for 30 winners

Contest entries close Nov 13, 23:59 UTC; 30 random winners get 150 Rutacoins on Nov 25. Image: Proxima Beta / Capcom
The “Rally, Adventurers!” contest takes entries from October 29, 02:00 UTC to November 13, 23:59 UTC. Results come out on November 25. Post anything about the game (text, images or video) on X, YouTube or TikTok. It has to fit one of five themes: Adventurers & Buddies, Weapon Selection, Monsters & Radiants, Show Off Your Style or Field Exploration. Include both #MonsterHunterOutlanders and #MHO, then send the post link through the official Google Form. 30 winners are drawn at random from valid entries and get 150 Rutacoins each (official post).
Are there Monster Hunter Outlanders codes?
Not yet. The official @MHO_English account hasn’t posted any redeem codes since the launch posts began on October 28. We checked on October 30 at 23:30 UTC; its latest post then was the Discord Quest at 12:00 UTC. The free Contracts come from the events above and the mailbox bonus. Be wary of “code” lists for this game until the official account or Discord posts one. Want to try something similar while you wait for the next season?
