Honkai: Nexus Anima launches in spring 2027 on PC, iOS and Android, and its Final Closed Beta starts on November 25, 2026. HoYoverse opened recruitment for that last test on November 5 on the official Honkai: Nexus Anima site, which now carries the “Coming Spring 2027” banner. HoYoverse has not given an exact launch day yet.
The open-world creature-catching RPG is the next big HoYoverse release after the cozy life sim Petit Planet, which hits PC and mobile in December. Here is what the beta adds and how to apply.

How to sign up for the Final Closed Beta
- Go to hna.hoyoverse.com and log in with a HoYoverse account.
- Pre-register for the game first. The site requires this before you can join the beta recruitment.
- Fill out the recruitment questionnaire.
- Wait for the result. Selected players are told through the site’s eligibility checker (“Check Test Access”), email, SMS and other channels.
Slots are limited, so signing up does not guarantee access. The official FAQ also warns players not to trust anyone offering to sell test packages or share accounts.

What’s new in the Final Closed Beta
Players take the role of an Animaster and set out from the town of Iia, according to HoYoverse’s announcement. The test adds new story chapters and characters, and opens up more of Iia, including a bank, a high-rise office building and a lighthouse island. Other additions:
- Your own RV to rest in at any time, plus habitats you can build for your Anima while exploring.
- Chromatic forms of Anima to find in the wild, and more juvenile Anima that grow up at your side.
- New companion interactions such as holding hands, hugging and being lifted into the air by an Anima.
- Nexus Arena, a new competitive mode where you build any lineup, get matched against other players and climb the ranks.
- Tougher enemies in the open world and in challenge stages.
Event Bond changes
The game’s limited banners, called Event Bonds, are being adjusted for this test. The first 5-star Eidos (character) or Anima you get from the Eidos Event Bond or Anima Event Bond is guaranteed to be the current limited one. Getting the limited Eidos also unlocks that character’s matching Anima Companion for free. Siliconera notes the example shown is the 5-star Reality unit Bai Mei and her 5-star Reality Anima, Seroplumanth.

Beta rules: data wipe, no spending, streaming allowed
The official beta FAQ spells out the main rules:
- It is a free test with no monetization, and all account data is wiped when it ends.
- Progress is shared across platforms on the same HoYoverse account, so you can switch between PC and phone.
- Access is tied to the first device you log in on for each platform (one PC, one iPhone, one Android device), and HoYoverse cannot change or add platforms later.
- Screenshots, recordings and live streams of the beta are allowed.
- Access from the earlier confidential tests (Aspect Exploration Project and In-Depth Research Program) does not carry over, and their data does not either.
