The game description lists a new Queens of Mischief bundle, two limited-time Halloween Floors, the new Haunted Gala Floor event, and Gourdy’s Event Shop returning with a new Spooky-Time skin pack. All 4 Halloween Toons and how to unlock them
All four Halloween Toons first arrived in the 2025 event. You buy them in Gourdy’s Store, next to Dandy’s Store in the Halloween-themed lobby, using Pumpkins. Once you buy a Toon, you keep it after the event. If you miss them, they can’t be bought again until the event returns, and the official October 23 and October 30 listings both say “last chance to unlock the 4 Halloween Toons until next year”. Costs and stats below come from the community wiki’s Gourdy’s Store page (stars out of 5).

Which Halloween Toon should you buy first?
- Ribecca first if you’re short on time. She costs only 300 Pumpkins and has no other requirement, so she’s the quickest unlock.
- Soulvester next. He was reworked for 2026, according to the wiki, and his 50% Research usually unlocks while you farm Pumpkins anyway. Research comes from capsules (two per Twisted per Floor, 1% each) and from encountering a Twisted (5%, once per Floor). Rodger earns double Research.
- Eclipse if you already own 5 Toons and enjoy deep Floors with Blackouts.
- Gourdy last. He’s the most expensive and needs 100% Research on Twisted Gourdy. Start collecting his capsules now, or you may have the Pumpkins but not the Research in the final week.
How to get Pumpkins fast
Pumpkins are the event currency, and the wiki notes that any you have left disappear when the event ends. These are the ways to earn them, as listed on the wiki’s Pumpkins page:

Farming checklist:
- Play on weekends. The wiki’s calendar marks Friday to Sunday as double Pumpkin days. The next two are October 23-25 and October 30-November 1.
- Try solo runs. Every Machine and every Trick or Treat door is yours, and the wiki’s tips page says you get more time to sweep each Floor for Pumpkin items.
- Use a scout. Pebble’s Fetch! ability and Coal’s Scout ability help spot Pumpkin items. The Bone Needle and Thread trinket highlights them.
- Finish Machines. Each one pays 5 Pumpkins (10 on weekends) on top of moving the run along.
There’s no official Pumpkin code for 2026 in the developer’s event listings (checked October 19). Last year’s listing gave out HAPPYHALLOWEEN for 600 Pumpkins, and that code expired in November 2025. Skip any site that lists “Pumpkin codes” without a date or a link to the developer.
Trick or Treat doors: every trick and treat
Trick or Treat doors are new this year. They appear on every Floor during the event, and you get more of them on higher Floors and with more players. When you knock, you get either a treat (a pure bonus) or a trick (anything from harmless to a real problem). The wiki lists these effects. The October 23 update remixes the outcomes, so some may change.

Tip: empty your inventory of anything precious before knocking, because Gigi’s trick takes an item every time. The wiki also notes that the room behind the door usually hints at the outcome. A void of a particular color or a room full of Machines suggests what’s coming before the effect lands.

Haunted Gala Floor event and the Halloween Floors
The Haunted Gala is a new Floor event that only happens during Halloween. It fills the Floor with red fog and gives every player a random mask that swaps your stats and ability for the Toon on the mask. According to the wiki’s Haunted Gala page, it can’t happen before Floor 3. After that it starts at a 5% chance and rises 2% per Floor, up to 30%. During a Gala, the number of Trick or Treat doors doubles. The possible masks include the year-round Main Toons, Gourdy, Soulvester, Dandy and Connie. Talk to your team about who ends up as the distractor and who extracts.
There are also two limited-time Halloween Floors: the Halloween Floor and a Halloween Stage Floor with dining tables, a stage and a backstage area.
Halloween skins, calendar rewards and Gourdy’s Store
- Gourdy’s Store skins: 36 Halloween skins on the wiki’s 2026 list, mostly returning ones plus new picks such as Shadow Moth (Flutter), Painted Brain (Gigi), Fuzzy Beast (Goob), Mysterious Spy (Rodger), Wicked Stitch (Scraps), Steeped Shadow (Teagan), Mossy Stone (Tisha) and Toxic Experiment (Waxwell).
