Kitawari publishes its patch notes on the official Anime Vanguards changelog. The 15.0 entry has a “Countdown codes” section with eight codes. These are the rewards the changelog gives:

Some code sites list smaller rewards for two of these. They show 2ndAnniDay6 as 100 Memoria Shards (or 100 Rerolls), and 2ndAnniDay7 as 100 Trait Rerolls plus 100 Memoria Shards. We use the amounts in Kitawari’s own changelog. The game shows the real reward when you redeem.
The four headline anniversary codes
These four aren’t in the changelog. Three code lists show all four as active with the same rewards: Beebom (updated October 12), plus Destructoid and LevelUp (both updated October 19). LevelUp says all four were added on October 12.

Save the HappyAnniversary piece. Memoria Puzzle Pieces power the new Memoria Maker (more below), and otherwise you can buy just one a day from the Gold Shop for 100,000 Gold.
Older codes the lists disagree on
Destructoid and LevelUp still showed these three as active on October 19. PC Gamer’s list from October 9 already marked them expired. They only take a few seconds to try:

- AnniNextHopefully: 100 Trait Rerolls, 100 Memoria Shards, 5,000 Gems (Level 30)

How to redeem Anime Vanguards codes
- Open Vanguards: 2nd Anniversary on Roblox and load into the lobby.
- Press the Profile button on the right side of the screen.
- Press Codes on the left side of the Profile window.
- Type the code exactly as written. Capital letters count.
- Press Redeem.
Can’t find a menu after the UI overhaul? Update 15.0 added Quick Actions (M on keyboard, Y on controller, or the Menu button), which puts every lobby window in one place. If a code fails, check your level. Some codes need Level 10 or Level 30, and the new Exp Rush acts are the fastest way to level up (see below).
What’s new in the Anime Vanguards 2nd Anniversary update
Kitawari’s changelog lists more than 25 sections for 15.0, from a new lobby to over 700 bug fixes. The update’s Roblox event listing, titled “2nd Anniversary” with the tagline “Arise.”, was set for October 9 at 23:00 UTC. The changelog entry is dated October 12. At our check the game had about 42,800 players online and 2.09 billion visits.
How to get True Shadow Monarch
True Shadow Monarch is a new Transcendent evolution of Song Jinwu and Igros, unlocked through the Player Quest. Here’s what the changelog says it does:
- Put it in your first slot. It opens a 7th unit slot and shares its trait, stats, familiar and memoria with the rest of your team.
- Defeating enemies earns System EXP and System Gold. The System level goes up to 100. You start with one Shadow slot and unlock more at levels 10, 25, 40, 60 and 80.
- System Gold buys weapons, Shadow orbs and one-use items in the System Shop.
- Form of the Monarch lets you take control of the Monarch yourself, with dashes, combos and three of seven special attacks equipped.
- Owners also get Shadow Trials, a real-time arena mode for 1-4 players where you fight shadows and can Arise them into your army.

Anniversary banner, Cake Slices and daily rewards
- Cake Slices ’26: 500 for every stage you clear, except in Odyssey, Custom Levels and the Ruined City raid. The returning Anniversary Dungeon pays more: 9,000 for the Anniversary Gauntlet and 5,000 for the Special Stage.
- Anniversary banner: God is the Secret, with 11 Exclusives including Yuvi and Seiloshibo. Each summon costs 150 Cake Slices. Pity is 50 summons for a Legendary, 400 for an Exclusive and 5,000 for the Secret.
- Anniversary Shop: Trait Rerolls and Memoria Shards cost 500 each (stock 2,000 of each), Stat Chips cost 50, and Rainbow Essence costs 100 (stock 100).

Story Mode, towers and other big changes
- Story Mode: each stage now has just one act. Acts 2-6 are gone, and their special drops moved to Act 1. Clearing Act 1 unlocks Exp Rush, which gives 1,000 XP per clear (no player XP once you reach level 60).
- Elemental Towers: every floor was reset and the skill tree removed. Each tower now comes in a Solo version and a Multiplayer version for 2-4 players.
- Battle Towers: 17 new solo towers (one for each of the 11 elements, plus six categories), each with 10 floors and enemies at double health. Only matching units can be placed. They open one week after the update, and each first clear pays 50 Trait Rerolls.
- Memoria Maker: fuse two donor memorias into a Secret or Vanguard base memoria. Each fusion uses one Memoria Puzzle Piece.
- Masteries: every 10 stage wins with a unit earns a Chroma Token, which spins for one of 14 color styles.
- New modes: Returned Dungeon (a 20-wave raid with five statues to awaken), The First Commander (a dungeon where you command an army), Card Battle, a Pirate Dynasty Arena capture-the-flag mode, and four AV Arcade minigames.
- Removed: Unit Ascension is gone completely, and previously ascended units lose their bonuses.

Is there an Anime Vanguards 2nd Anniversary tier list?
Not an official one. The 15.0 balance notes say unit damage was “lowered evenly across the board”, with enemy health retuned to match, while “keeping the meta the same.” Two changes can still shake up teams. First, category and element buffs from familiars, memorias and units now only apply to your own units. Second, Ascension bonuses are gone. Community tier lists are still catching up, so we’re not ranking units yet. True Shadow Monarch is the one to plan around, because it adds a 7th slot and shares its trait and memoria with your whole team.
What to do first in the anniversary update
- Redeem every code above, starting with Finally and TrueShadowMonarch.
- Log in every day for the 7-day Daily Rewards. Yuvi on day 1 is a free Exclusive.
- Farm the Anniversary Gauntlet (9,000 Cake Slices per clear) for banner pulls. At 150 per summon, one clear covers 60 pulls.
- Run Exp Rush if a code says you’re under Level 10 or 30.
- Keep your Memoria Puzzle Pieces for the Memoria Maker. The Gold from Finally covers one more piece in the Gold Shop.
- Clear each Battle Tower once when they open: 17 first clears add up to 850 Trait Rerolls.
