Xbox Game Pass is coming to T-Mobile in November 2026, but only through T-Mobile’s new T-Mix plans in the U.S. Eligible T-Mix customers will be able to pick Game Pass Ultimate or Game Pass Premium as one of the benefits included in their plan, Xbox announced on Xbox Wire today, October 26. Xbox says it’s the first time Game Pass has been available through a U.S. wireless plan.
It isn’t a free trial or a time-limited discount. Game Pass costs “Picks”, the benefit credits that come with every T-Mix plan, so you trade other perks for it. Here’s who can get each tier, and what neither company has said yet.

Which T-Mobile plans get Xbox Game Pass?
T-Mobile’s T-Mix announcement names three plans, all launching in November. Each one includes a set number of Picks, and the count grows as you add lines. This is T-Mobile’s own chart (prices with AutoPay, plus taxes and fees):

On the chart, Game Pass Premium costs 2 Picks, the same as Apple Music Individual, Google AI Pro, Pandora Premium and YouTube Premium. Game Pass Ultimate costs 3 Picks, the same as Netflix Standard. So a one-line Standard plan can’t cover either tier. T-Mix is also offered at a discount for customers 55 and over, military and veterans, first responders and college students.

How to claim Xbox Game Pass from T-Mobile
Neither Xbox nor T-Mobile has published claim steps yet. Based on what the two announcements say, the process will be:
- Be on, or switch to, a T-Mix plan once it launches in November.
- Spend your Picks on Game Pass Premium (2) or Ultimate (3).
- Follow T-Mobile’s instructions to link the benefit to your Xbox account. T-Mobile hasn’t said how that works yet.
T-Mobile points customers to T-Mobile.com/Picks for details, but that page wasn’t live when we checked at 13:15 UTC. Neither company has said whether Game Pass is available on T-Mobile’s older plans.

What happens to your existing Game Pass subscription?
Xbox hasn’t said whether an existing subscription moves over, stacks or gets paused. T-Mobile’s fine print says only that “you may need to manage your existing third-party subscriptions to avoid duplicate charges.” Until Xbox explains how this works, don’t cancel your current plan before the T-Mobile benefit is active on your account.
Can you switch Game Pass for another Pick later?
Yes, within limits. Partner Picks can be changed four times a year: three change windows plus an Annual Remix window. T-Mobile says a change outside a window “may require a fee”, and unused Picks don’t carry over to the next quarter. That lets you keep Ultimate for a big release month, for example around the latest Game Pass additions, then swap to Netflix later.
What’s next
