The Steal a Brainrot Halloween update is not one update but four, released every Saturday in October 2026. Update 69 (Oct 3) added the Haunted Fuse and the Eclipse mutation, Update 70 (Oct 10) added the Skull Lucky Block, Update 71 (Oct 17) brought the Spooky Scary Skeletons event, and Update 72 (Oct 24) started the Grave Hunt digging event with a Shovel Shop. If the weekly pattern holds, the next one lands on Halloween itself, Saturday October 31.
Below you’ll find every new Halloween brainrot with its income, the Skull Lucky Block odds, the Grave Hunt parts table and a “what to do first” order. Everything was checked on October 26, 2026 at 12:45 UTC against the game’s official Roblox page, its official event listings and its Robux store items, plus the community Steal a Brainrot Wiki update log for numbers the developer doesn’t publish.

Steal a Brainrot Halloween 2026 update timeline
Sammy posted official Roblox event listings for the first two Halloween updates. Later ones were announced in-game and on the game’s Discord, so for those we lean on the wiki’s update log and on the Robux items that appeared in the game’s store on those days (Roblox records when each store item was created).
| Update | Date (2026) | What it added | Official trace |
|---|---|---|---|
| 69: Eclipse + Haunted Fuse | Sat, Oct 3, 19:00 UTC | Haunted Fuse, Eclipse mutation, Eclipse wheel, 11 new brainrots | Event listing; Eclipse wheel spins (99-499 Robux) added Oct 2 |
| 70 | Sat, Oct 10 | Skull Lucky Block, Halloween base | “Next update” listing; Premium Skull Lucky Block (699 Robux) and Reaper Base (999 Robux) added Oct 10 |
| 71 | Sat, Oct 17 | Spooky Scary Skeletons event, balance changes, new DLC-code brainrots | Wiki update log |
| 72 | Sat, Oct 24 | Grave Hunt (Dig Event), Shovel Shop, 7 new brainrots | Gold, Diamond, Lava and Divine Shovels (29-199 Robux) added Oct 24 |
| 73 | Expected Sat, Oct 31 | Not announced | Wiki page says “TBA” |
One warning: some sites are promoting a “Frightrot” event that supposedly started on October 25. We found no official listing, store item or wiki entry for it. The game did get a small update on Oct 25 at 22:11 UTC, but nothing public says what changed. Many search results also still describe Halloween 2025 (Update 22, Oct 25, 2025), which had a Halloween Index and its own graveyard-digging event. That event ended on Nov 2, 2025, so don’t plan around it.
Grave Hunt: how the Dig Event works (Update 72)
Grave Hunt is the newest Halloween event and the one most players are grinding right now. Here’s how it works, according to the wiki:
- Go to the Shovel Shop and grab a shovel. Everyone starts with the Basic Shovel.
- Dig graves during the event to collect brainrot parts.
- Collect enough parts of one brainrot (2 to 5, depending on the brainrot) to build it.
- Better shovels dig with more power. The wiki lists them at these in-game cash prices: Gold Shovel $5B (1.65 power), Diamond Shovel $150B (2.35), Lava Shovel $10T (2.85) and Divine Shovel $1Qa (3.35). The game’s store also sells the same four shovels for 29, 49, 99 and 199 Robux.
| Grave Hunt reward | Rarity | Income | Part drop chance | Parts needed |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Skul Skuli Skuli | Brainrot God | $300K/s | ~30% | 2 |
| Skooter Skelly | Secret | $2.6M/s | ~28% | 2 |
| Skull Lucky Block | Lucky block | Opens into a Halloween brainrot | ~20% | 2 |
| Money Money Cat | Secret | $14.5M/s | ~15% | 3 |
| Fang Fang Draculang | Secret | $24.5M/s | ~8% | 3 |
| Pum Pum Pum | Secret | $31M/s | ~5% | 4 |
| Spooky Spooky Sahur | Secret | $46M/s | ~3% | 4 |
| Spooketti Tualetti | Secret | $77.5M/s | ~1% | 5 |
The drop chances are community estimates from the wiki, not official odds. Spooketti Tualetti is the jackpot: the rarest part, the most parts needed, and the highest income in the event. Spooky Spooky Sahur is now the best-earning member of the Sahur family, per the wiki.
Skull Lucky Block odds and rewards (Update 70)
The Skull Lucky Block is the second Halloween lucky block in the game, after 2025’s Spooky Lucky Block. You can get one three ways: from Grave Hunt parts (2 parts), from admin events, or from the store, where a Premium Skull Lucky Block costs 699 Robux (2,097 for 3, 6,990 for 10). The wiki lists its contents like this:
| Brainrot | Chance | About 1 in | Income |
|---|---|---|---|
| Candi Corni | 32.4% | 3 | $321K/s |
| Grim Cheese | 30% | 3.3 | $1.6M/s |
| Zombie Bowl | 21% | 4.8 | $4.5M/s |
| Bananito Skelito | 10% | 10 | $8.5M/s |
| Bat-in-the-Box | 5% | 20 | $22.5M/s |
| Boo Boo Rocket | 1% | 100 | $37.5M/s |
| Flying Dutchman | 0.5% | 200 | $92.5M/s |
| Dragon Skeletonini | 0.1% | 1,000 | $325M/s |

Dragon Skeletonini, the skeletal dragon, is the best Halloween 2026 brainrot by income at $325M/s. At 1 in 1,000, though, most players will open a lot of Candi Corni and Grim Cheese first.
Spooky Scary Skeletons event (Update 71)
Update 71 added a skeleton event set to the classic Halloween song, which the wiki says Sammy licensed for the game. While it runs, skeletons roam the map and can give your brainrots one of three traits: Spooky Skeleton (most common), Vampire Skeleton, or Witch Skeleton (rarest, about 5%). The trait multipliers haven’t been documented yet. The event could also spawn three Secret brainrots:
- Co Co Co Sahur: $1.7M/s, about a 20% spawn chance
- Chicken Zombie: $5.5M/s, about 10%
- Skelly and Coffy: $155M/s, about 0.5%
According to the wiki, the Spooky Skeleton board was removed on Oct 24 when Grave Hunt arrived, so this event seems to have rotated out. Update 71 also added three brainrots you get from Steal a Brainrot merch (DLC) codes rather than in-game: Arca Bros ($250M/s), Cobra Gelato ($77.5M/s) and Slushi Huski ($322.5K/s).
Haunted Fuse: every new Halloween brainrot (Update 69)
The Haunted Fuse is a haunted-house machine that replaced the Craft Machine. You feed it 4 brainrots and it fuses them into a Halloween brainrot. It also brought back six fuse brainrots from last year: Tartaragno, Pinealotto Fruttarino, Mummio Rappitto, Quackula, Buho de Fuego and Magi Ribbitini. These are the new ones, with the best recipe odds the wiki has recorded:
| Brainrot | Rarity | Income | Best known recipe |
|---|---|---|---|
| Penguino Pumpkino | Epic | $235/s | 36%: 1 Avocadini Antilopini + 1 Bambini Crostini + 2 Salamino Penguino |
| Frostino Vampiro | Mythic | $17.5K/s | 24%: 3 Cocofanto Elefanto + 1 Cavallo Virtuoso |
| Vampi Ribbitini | Brainrot God | $185K/s | Unknown |
| Mummelo Bandello | Brainrot God | $285K/s | 30%: 4 Cocofanto Elefanto |
| Mortaruga | Brainrot God | $324K/s | 19%: Sammyni Spyderini + Boneca Ambalabu + Pipi Kiwi + Svinina Bombardino |
| Los Treaters | Secret | $1.2M/s | 91% with low-tier Secrets |
| Fangaro Lupino | Secret | $7.2M/s | 78%: 4 Burguro and Fryuro |
| Oni Oni Panda | Secret | $27M/s | 14%: 4 La Secret Combinasion |
| Sammyni Spookyni | Secret | $80M/s | Unknown |
| Medusini and Demonini (added Update 71) | Secret | $180M/s | Unknown |
| Plant Bros | Secret | $300M/s | 50%: Orchidox + Venuspino |
| Phoenix | Secret | $425M/s | Unknown |
“Unknown” means the wiki has no tested odds yet. Ignore sites that quote exact numbers for those.
Eclipse mutation and event schedule
The Eclipse mutation came with Update 69 and is the strongest mutation in the game: about 14x income, though the wiki gives both 13.5x and 14x. While the Eclipse event is active, Eclipse brainrots can spawn, and its wheel offers Eclipse Lucky Blocks, an Eclipse Slap and an Eclipse Hammer. There’s also an Eclipse Index with a base skin. Per the wiki, the event runs every hour on weekends and every two hours on weekdays. A bug that broke its sun and moon animations was fixed in Update 72.

What to do first in the Halloween update
- Dig every Grave Hunt event you can. Parts are the only free path to the new Update 72 brainrots and a free Skull Lucky Block.
- Upgrade your shovel when your cash allows. A Gold Shovel at $5B is the first real power jump (1.65 vs 1).
- Build Skull Lucky Blocks from parts instead of buying them, unless you’re chasing Dragon Skeletonini specifically.
- Fuse your spare duplicates. The Haunted Fuse turns brainrots you’d never use into Halloween ones, and recipes with known odds (Fangaro Lupino at 78%) are the safest bets.
- Lock your base before you leave to dig. Busy event servers bring more thieves, and your new Halloween brainrots sit in your base while you’re away.
- Play on Saturday, Oct 31. Updates have dropped on Saturdays at 19:00 UTC, and Halloween is the obvious date for the finale.

FAQ
When is the next Steal a Brainrot update?
There’s no official listing or wiki date for Update 73 yet. Every October update so far arrived on a Saturday, and the official listings for Updates 69 and 70 started at 19:00 UTC. That points to Saturday, Oct 31 at 3 PM ET / 12 PM PT, but it isn’t confirmed.
Is there a Steal a Brainrot Halloween Index in 2026?
Not as a separate index so far. The Halloween Index (33 brainrots, with a Halloween Base for collecting 25) came from the 2025 event. For 2026, the new index is the Eclipse Index, which comes with its own base skin.
How do you get the Skull Lucky Block?
Collect 2 Skull Lucky Block parts in Grave Hunt, catch one during an admin event, or buy a Premium Skull Lucky Block for 699 Robux.
What is the best Halloween brainrot in Steal a Brainrot?
By income, it’s Phoenix from the Haunted Fuse at $425M/s, followed by Dragon Skeletonini from the Skull Lucky Block at $325M/s and Plant Bros at $300M/s. Among the newest Grave Hunt rewards, Spooketti Tualetti tops the list at $77.5M/s.
Is the Steal a Brainrot Halloween event over?
Not yet, as far as anyone has posted. As of Oct 26, no end date has been published for Grave Hunt or the Haunted Fuse, and the wiki lists both as ongoing. Last year’s Halloween event board came down on Nov 2, so early November is a reasonable guess for 2026 too.
