The best Theme Park Tycoon 2 entrance ideas start with your park’s theme: a castle or Victorian gate for a fantasy park, a torii gate for an Asian area, a jungle gateway for a dinosaur park, or a clean modern arch with turnstiles. You don’t have to build one piece by piece. Every entrance below is a free blueprint on the fan-run TPT2 Workshop, so you paste its design ID into the game’s search bar and it loads in. We list 35 entrance, gate and plaza blueprints with their ride, build cost and the game passes they need, all checked on November 3, 2026 UTC.

Quick answer
- No game pass? cjmscout’s No-Gamepass Entrance (RD-857-655-864-205, $15,170) and Pjgames’s No Gamepass Entrance (RD-252-257-151-236, $22,810) load on any account. Our Theme Park Tycoon 2 Workshop guide lists eight more no-pass entrances.
- Cheapest themed gates: Japanese Torii Gate ($9,835) and Florianderflop’s Basic Entrance ($10,227).
- Biggest builds: the Disneyland-style entrance comes as four IDs ($642,120 in total). Kosii’s Six Flags-style entrance comes as two ($335,103).
- Most entrances need Disable collisions (270 Robux), and many also need Extra colors (90 Robux), according to each blueprint’s Workshop page and Roblox’s game-pass listing.
- Using a custom gate? Hide the default archway first. The Park Information board next to the entrance has the toggle.

Turnstiles and ticket booths under the arch make a custom gate look finished; two of the add-ons below cost under $10,000. AI-generated illustration
How the park entrance works in Theme Park Tycoon 2
Every plot has the same default entrance. The Theme Park Tycoon 2 Wiki’s Park Entrance page says it has three parts: the archway with your park’s name and star rating, the Park Information board, and the Park Likes sign. Guests come into your park and leave it through the archway, so any custom entrance has to sit on that spot.
- Hide the archway from the Park Information board, then build or load your own gate over the path. This option has been in the game since version 161 (January 2018), according to the wiki’s 2018 changelog.
- The first path decides the road. The path under the archway and along the road outside copies the color and material of the first path that joins the archway to your park. Since version 158, according to the wiki, the road outside matches whatever you lay first. Lay your main path first in the style you want to show off.
- The entry fee is set on the same board ($0-$100). Our Theme Park Tycoon 2 guide has the wiki’s entrance-fee formula. When the price is too high, guests walk up to the entrance and turn straight back. Version 86 added that behaviour to make it clear.
- Likes: the Park Likes sign by the gate counts likes from other players. Ten likes unlock the “Community Approval!” achievement.
How to load an entrance design ID
- Copy the design ID (RD-xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx) from the table.
- Paste it into the Theme Park Tycoon 2 search bar. The Workshop says the game then finds the ride the blueprint is saved on and loads it.
- If the ride says “(Legacy)”, first open Settings (the cog, bottom right) and switch on “Show legacy content in build menu” under General Settings. Those are the Workshop’s own steps.
- Check the build cost before you place it. Blueprints cost their full price to build.
If the game says it “could not load this Design-ID”, the fix list in our Workshop blueprints guide covers missing passes and legacy rides. It also explains the UK and Australia restriction: the Workshop says a Roblox policy stops players there from using third-party blueprints.
Theme Park Tycoon 2 entrance ideas with no gamepass
These three load without any game pass. None of them appears in our earlier Workshop list.
| Blueprint (creator, added) | Design ID | Ride used | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| cjmscout’s No-Gamepass Entrance (cjmscout, Jun 2024) | RD-857-655-864-205 | Darkride | $15,170 |
| Pjgames’s No Gamepass Entrance (YellowPjgames, Jul 2024) | RD-252-257-151-236 | Junior Coaster (Legacy) | $22,810 |
| 6 No-Gamepass Mainstreet Buildings (AfmanBoi, Jul 2024) | RD-674-568-236-994 | Junior Coaster (Legacy) | $67,593 |
The Mainstreet Buildings aren’t a gate. It’s a set of six main-street buildings to line the path just inside your entrance, so they pair well with any of the no-pass gates.
Themed entrance ideas (castle, Asian, jungle, spooky, sci-fi)
DC = Disable collisions (270 Robux), EC = Extra colors (90 Robux). We checked pass prices with Roblox’s game-pass API on November 3, 2026.

Redd3n’s Spanish arch is the one blueprint here that loads unfinished. Its Workshop page says the item limit cut it short, so you have to copy the roof pieces over the archway and turret yourself.
Real-park inspired entrances
These are fan recreations of famous park gates. They have no connection to the real parks or to the game’s developer. They’re also the most expensive builds in this guide, so save them for a park that already earns well.
| Blueprint (creator, added) | Design ID(s) | Ride used | Passes | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Disneyland Entrance (Simply_SyNc and Kay121305, Nov 2024) | RD-688-369-430-968, RD-606-453-476-676, RD-625-406-284-312, RD-407-318-796-638 | Transport Train (all four) | DC, EC | $642,120 total |
| Six Flags Inspired Entrance (Kosii, Jun 2024) | RD-503-050-444-482 (building), RD-776-561-054-315 (turnstiles and sign) | Corkscrew Coaster | DC, EC | $335,103 total |
| Worlds of Fun Entrance (couchoof2000, Jun 2024) | RD-299-176-723-824 | Junior Coaster | DC, EC | $138,064 |
| Universal Studios Entrance (familie_zebra, May 2024) | RD-237-123-186-071 | Single Rail Coaster (Legacy) | DC, EC | $101,977 |
Multi-ID builds go in order. For the Disneyland gate, the Workshop says to place the first ID on a Transport Train, then line up the second ID with it, and repeat that step for the third and fourth IDs. Kosii’s Six Flags-style gate has two parts: the metal cover and building go down first, then the turnstiles and welcome sign go to the right of the first blueprint’s coaster station.

Theme Park Tycoon 2 entrance plaza ideas
The plaza is the open space just inside the gate. It’s the first thing visitors see, so it’s worth a fountain, signs and a proper floor.

Which entrance should you pick? (our picks)
These are our suggestions, built from the costs and passes above. They are not Workshop rankings.
- New park, no passes: cjmscout’s or Pjgames’s gate, then AfmanBoi’s Mainstreet Buildings once you have about $70,000 to spare.
- Disable collisions only: Florianderflop’s Basic Entrance ($10,227) or the Rustic Forge Entrance ($20,986), plus Tomsey’s Tropical Ticket Booth.
- A themed park on a budget: the Japanese Torii Gate ($9,835), Asian Archway ($16,627) or Krusty Head ($28,585). They all cost under $30,000.
- Showpiece for a 4-5 star park: the Disneyland-style four-part gate or Kosii’s Six Flags-style entrance, with a fountain and Park Information Signs in the plaza.
- Match the gate to the park. A spooky clown gate in front of a castle area looks odd. Our roller coaster ideas and 5-star rating guide help you plan the rest of the park around one theme.
FAQ
How do you make a custom entrance in Theme Park Tycoon 2?
Open the Park Information board by the entrance and hide the default archway. Then build or load your own gate over the entrance path. Guests still enter and leave through that spot, so keep the path under your gate open.
Are there entrance ideas with no gamepass?
Yes. cjmscout’s No-Gamepass Entrance (RD-857-655-864-205) and Pjgames’s No Gamepass Entrance (RD-252-257-151-236) need no passes, and our Workshop guide lists eight more. Without Disable collisions you can’t stack items through each other, so no-pass builds are simpler.
Can you move the park entrance in Theme Park Tycoon 2?
The wiki describes the entrance as a fixed set of structures on the outside of every park. It doesn’t mention a way to move it. You can hide the archway and decorate around it.
How much should I charge at the entrance?
Up to $100. The wiki’s formula is about park value divided by 50,000, plus your star rating times 10. Our guide to getting more guests explains how the fee affects how many people come in.
